Christian walked into the room, hoping no one saw him. He sat himself down at the piano, his fingers stroking the keys. He began to play - a piece he knew off by heart - and it was beautiful, the melody mixing with the harmony, like melted chocolate rippling, dripping, it's honeyed notes chiming. It began to be more angry, and soon, he stuffed up, slamming the keys with anger.
Rose walked silently into the studio, dressed in a tight black skirt and singlet. As usual, she had her weapons with her. Although she did not seem like the type she sometimes came to the studio for the peaceful atmosphere. Upon her entry she became momentarily mesmerised with the ups and down of the melody coming from the piano. She was brought back into the 'real' world when the keys were slammed angrily. "Your right?" She asked.
Christian looked up; there was a girl standing by the doorway. "Sorry," he mumbled, raking a hand through his hair. "Uh, I'm Christian Rosales," he introduced himself, "and what's your name?" He turned himself around on the chair, so that he was facing her and not at the piano.
"It's right, don't know bout the piano though." She grinned. "Rose Goldwell." She introduced herself, "it's nice to meet you Christian." Rose said. "That was some stellar music coming from the piano there."
Christian looked back at the piano, his fingers reaching out and touching the keys. "Thanks," he said, "it was just an old piece I heard once. Can you play anything?" He asked, for Raziel's sake they were in a music studio.
"You play that old peice quite well." She said. "Umm... Yeah no." She leant against the piano, her arms crossed against her chest. "Would it be awfully unusual if I said I just come in here for the sake of it." She grinned.
"That's a shame, such a beautiful girl like yourself not being able to play," Christian smiled. He shuffled over on the seat, and patted the space next to him. "Here, you should at least know how to play the demon melodies, they can reveal demon presence nearby by changing them into their original forms. I'll show you." He looked at her, his ocean-blue eyes deep and piercing.
Rose smirked at Christian, taking quite a liking to his flirtatious ways. "Is it now?" She grinned, taking the seat next to Christian. "Well then, I shall learn but I don't see why when I have this here." She said poiting to the aqua blue necklace on her neck that doubled as a sensor. She looked into his eyes, a deep ocean blue. "Okay." She said
"Ah, but what if somehow the Sensor doesn't happen to be around your neck," Christian said, his face still set serious. He took hold of her hands gently with his, and placed them on the keys. "So we start here - Middle C - and then here and so," He said, and guiding her hands, the demon melody sounded. "Think you can handle that?" He smirked.
"I'm quite likely to not have a piano on me either." Rose joked. "But music is good enough for me, whether or not there is a purpose. She allowed him to take hold of her hands and listened intently to what he had to say. "Well I can sure handle it with you helping me, by myself, probably not so much." She said.
"Well, then, next time you've got a piano next to you, make sure you've got me with you," Christian smirked at her. "So, tell me about yourself, Rose Goldwell," he said, flicking his hair out of his eyes. That had become a habit.
"So instead of carrying a piano around, I'll just take you." She grinned. "Something about myself... Well the usual depressing tale coming from everybody here. My parents died when I was 11 and I came here." She shrugged "If your asking about my personality though, you'll just have to find our yourself." She teased.
"I'm sorry to hear about that," Christian said gently. "Is that so, Rose Goldwell? Well, do you have any other talents, other than being your beautiful self?" He raised an eyebrow mockingly, his teasing smile on his lips.
She shrugged, "you get used to it I guess." Rose said. "You can just call me Rose you know, no need for formalities." She grinned. "Besides from being my beautiful self." She smirked, "I would say I'm pretty badass in a fight." She said. "So tell me About tou Christian, aside from being a very hot musicisian."
Christian grinned. "Well, we have something in common, Rose dear. I asked the Clave specially to come here, and they only accepted because I was a good fighter," he smirked. "You got a favourite weapon?" he asked, looking at her up and down, noting she held quite a lot of weapons with her. He did notice her eyes for some reason, and lost himself in the pooling blue of them.
"I'll have to challenge you to a fight sometime, it would be good to test my worth against a guy thought of highly by the clave, even if there desisions are in some ways misguided sometimes." Rose grinned, her tone teasing and challenging. She pulled her family blade out of its sheath, watching as the silver glinted in the sunlight. "I never step a foot without it, I could kill anything with this thing."
"Feisty, eh? Nice blade, Rose, it suits you. Makes you look even more badass than you already are." Christian grinned. He reached over his shoulder, and pulled out his seraph blade, tracing the tip carefully with his finger without drawing blood. "This is my family's seraph blade, from my mother's family. She died, in the war too," he said, shrugging.
She shrugged, "Thanks I guess." She said re sheathing it. "To be honest As much as I am capable of handling other weapons, they don't finish the job off well enough like a blade does. Seraph blades included of course, I always have one on me." She nodded almost approvingly to his weapon, "That's one hell of a blade you got there, nice." She leant against the piano again, arms crossed against her chest, "So tell me aside from being a badass pianist, what do you do- for fun." She smirked.
Christian nodded, sheathing his seraph blade back over his shoulder. "Besides hanging out with you, beautiful, not much," he teased, smiling amusingly. "But I do run and swim, that's pretty good. Uh, what about you, Rose dear?" He asked, liking the flirtatious conversation they were having.
Rose was having fun with this conversation, it had been a while since she had flirted so openly with a guy. She brushed her hair, which today was quite wavy over her shoulder. "Why ain't I flattered, I'd say your quite hot yourself but I've always been taught to play hard to get." She teased, a smirk playing at her lips. "Me, I run too. Most of my time is spent with my parabatai, Lissa. Don't know whether you know her." She shrugged. "A fight I guess. It's my future after all, hasn't it been panned out for me, not that I'm complaining. I love it, the exhilaration and adrenaline." She grinned "I'm sure you know what I mean."
"Is that so, Rose dear?" Christian grinned back at her. "Of course I know what you mean, I mean, just talking to you gives me that feeling right now, beautiful." He said, his eyes smiling with him. "Well, it's been very, very nice to meet you, Rose," he said, shutting the piano lid and heading out the door. Before he left, he stopped by the door way. "Just a suggestion, but I think it would be safer if you wore a sign saying 'Warning: extremely flammable!', Rose dear." And like that, with his teasing smile, he disappeared.

"Well, well, well. I'm going to say the same about you." She grinned. "I hope to see you again very soon Christian. I'm sure I will anyway." She followed him out and nearly burst out Laughing at his comment. "Maybe I'll take your advice with a little more convincing." She said, following his teasing smile with her own.
