Hi! I'm new to the group, this is my 1st nomination.. We Have Always Lived In the Castle by Shirley Jackson
Hi Taylor. I’ve been wondering about that one myself. Well, it’s not on our shelf, but I think it’s more of a modern classic so it’s up to Trinity.

Hello! This also sounds like a modern classic maybe, but it sure does have a bit of everything. And we haven’t read it. Thanks.

It is the only book I have read 5 times and I'll be reading it again. Don't be put off because its Russian. It's not too difficult and its depth is fantastic.

If that one is too modern, then I will nominate The Canterville Ghost by Oscar Wilde (if it hasn't already been read, that is).

You’re kidding. ! I looked and looked. But I was at a tiny screen.
So I’m sorry. That one willl be out.
And Chris, as far as I know, no one is afraid of Russian books here:). Don’t worry.

Okay, so life went a little wonky on me for the past few weeks. Please, excuse my absence. I will have polls up in the next few days. My current disaster is a blown transformer and no electricity, so it may not be tomorrow, but this week. Don't feel pressured to make at Dec. 31st deadline with the read. All we ask is for thoughtful discussion.
Thanks for your patience.
