He was a real asset to Dan in the last book. He has a lot to prove to Lucy. I thought he walked a fine ethics line after Lucy fired him. I was concerned about which side he was truly on. I was very happy he landed on the right side and Lucy decided to keep him as a bullet catcher.
I liked Con in the last book, so I had high hopes going in to this one. Really liked him after finishing this book.
I also liked Con in the last book and he lived up to my expectations in this one. Personally, I don't think he had anything to prove to Lucy. She jumped to conclusions and fired him without cause. She should have determined the facts, and she was in the wrong. If it had been me, I would have told her to take her job and shove it. I wouldn't want to work for someone who didn't trust me and was so quick to rush to judgment.
Can you tell I don't like Lucy? :)
