Once again Goodreads Choice for 2017 -- opens with two months to go, and nominations close before the year.

And it's seeded by an unknown process. Only two of which I have read this year, both in the same category, and actually neither one enough close to 'best" for me to vote for. . .

What do you think about 2017 books?

Clyde (wishamc) I voted for Marko Kloos's Fields of Fire in science fiction and Ken Follett's A Column of Fire in historical fiction. In the other categories, I either haven't read any new books or haven't a favorite.
Meh. Too hard to keep up with the heavy flood of new titles even in the categories I have in interest in.

I did manage to read a current year book for every category of books I read. Didn't last year.

David (waelse1) | 25 comments Also read Kloos’ Fields Of Fire, excellent book. Read three other books published in 2017 but I rarely catch books that early.
