I remember reading this when it first came out. A great memoir about a mind that is constantly thirsty for a challenge. Makes the reader really want to engage with his/her imagination using reality as the drawing board.
Hi All ,How much have we progressed as of now.
Its interesting to know the various sparks Mr Feynman pursued and its results. Its quite refreshing. I am sure we all would have had those sparks when we were kids, eventually we forget to pursue them as we grow ( am talking about majority ). Below are small things which we all would have done as kids - trying to close the fridge just that the light is off but not completely closing the door or making the light/fan switch stand in between where its neither fully off nor on. There are so many , on top of my head I can list only these two now. This book made me think of my childhood and also refreshing to know how great minds like Mr Feynman work.
I am sure everyone will have their own stories to tell, this book gives me new prospective . It also makes me challenge my brain to walk extra mile on my interests. No matter how small it might be.
Your thoughts ?
Wow, has no one read this book yet?? It was a fun read, I was afraid being a book by renowned physicist some of the stuff would go over my head, but it wasn't so.
I think he must have been a dude, I mean he could draw, play bongos and can solve equations which to most would look like script from aliens, with that a uncanny sense of humour.
Richard P Feynman received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1965. Here’s a semi-autobiographical account of some anecdotes from his life. It’s a humorous presentation of some incidents from his life. The book is not much of a literary read, neither it is a blow by blow account of his scientific achievements. But it is a collection of representative moments of the scientist’s life when he was at his wittiest. What's Feynman's attitude towards the development of the Atomic bomb?

I couldn't get into the mindset to read it. November was a busy month, and I could read only light reads that can be read at spinal level.
Sad to see that no one who had voted for it, read it.

Good to know that Kru.
I couldn't get to it this month due to it being extremely busy. Hoping to catch up some time later.
