Dan Beom-soo (Hangul: 단범수, born December 7th, 1993),
otherwise known as Boomer, is a South Korean rapper
singer and member of South Korean boy group A-Prince.

Many fans have likened Boomer to the American cartoon character Bubbles, from The Powerpuff Girls. It also seems fitting since Bubbles' male counterpart is also called Boomer. Unlike the cartoon, Boomer is said to be outgoing and kind, as well as confused [1] for the most part.
Some fans, however, have speculated that he might be much smarter than his image tends to give off, as reflected in some of his deeper lyrics[2] and have since begun campaigning for the event that he does show a little more brain power and isn't reduced to "that one dumb member" [3].

In 2012, Beom-soo was reportedly dating now-former manager, Kim Jangmi. Fans protested the affair, claiming she was "abusing her position" and "taking advantage" of the almost decade younger singer. Kim resigned shortly after officially announcing the end of their relationship and apologizing to the public [4].
Rumors
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
There's talk— though no more than very hushed whispers of a select group of devoted, Boomer-biased fans — that the relationship between Dan and Kim did not end with the public announcement. There's speculation that the relationship continued for another two years before it actually ended, and that his niece might not be his niece.
