Review My Thriller discussion
Introduce Yourself
I write action/political thrillers, and that's what I love to read! My passion for this genre began decades ago when I read a worn paperback copy of Clive Cussler's "Raise the Titanic", and I've been hooked ever since. I love the work of James Rollins, Steve Berry, Vince Flynn, Brad Thor, Matthew Reilly, Michael Crichton, Tom Clancy, Dan Brown, Dale Brown, and on and on. Lately, my attention has favored new and emerging authors.
So, if you write thoughtful thrillers with plenty of action, whether it is your first novel or your tenth, I'm interested and would love to read your product!

Ciao everyone, Yes I live in Italy, Tuscany.. with my husband, 3 dogs and a horse. But I'm not italian, it's complicated.. Anyway, I've got 3 books out on Amazon and other platforms. My books are mostly mystery/thrillers with military action (as I get info from real SF guys I know). I do a lot of research for my books, and most places I write about I have visited personally. I lived in the Middle East in the past, Saoudi Arabia. I was there for work, and met a lot of 'interesting' people. So the characters you'll find in my books are based on some of them. Some Readers told me, my books are a mix of Dan Brown, Clive Custler and Tom Clancy all in one. But I have my style, and want to keep it that way. Each of us is unique, and has a story to tell. So... if anyone is interested in reading my series, MOONHUNTRESS, there are 3 books out now, and I'm translating the last one in italian. Yes I'm getting italian fans aswell !! Anyway whomever wants a review of their book and is eager to write a review of mine, just contact me.

Welcome Connie! Sounds exciting (both living in Tuscany and the novels you author). I have two books to review now, then I'll start with your. You have three novels--are they to be read in order? Or is each a standalone story?

Brian O'Hare here. Took me a while to find my niche. Three academic books, one religious memoir, two religious biographies, a contemporary Irish novel, and, finally, at the behest of my publisher, a mysteries series of stand-alone novels featuring Belfast's Chief Inspector Jim Sheehan. The Doom Murders and The 11.05 Murders are available for review now. The Coven Murders (a slight genre shift from mystery to occult mystery) will be available by the end of December, and The Dark Web Murders is in the process of being written. Now I tend to read mostly thrillers and mysteries. Happy to swap with writers of these genres. If you want to know more about my books before committing yourself to anything, check them out on Amazon.com (Loads of reviews there) or visit my website: http://brianohareauthor.blogspot.co.uk/
Hi Everyone! I'm new to this group but have been writing books for over ten years. I majored in literature in college but never found the time to attempt full-fledge writing until my daughters were grown and I found myself longing for my own identity. After taking numerous workshops to brush up my skills, I gave it a go and published my first book a few years after. This book, Flaherty's Crossing, won numerous awards and spurred me on to write four books in my Threads action-adventure series. I'm proud to say they've been well-received, considering the fact that I write as a self-published author rather than going through the "normal" channels - if you can call this normal. Anyway, my books are a bit on the racy side, but they're also thrillers and action-packed too. So if you enjoy a very different kind of love story, I just might be the author for you. ^_^ Here's my website for more information: http://www.kaylinmcfarren.com

Hi Christine. I tried to access your site ... but had trouble. Will try again later. I wouldn't mind a swap review ... Extreme Prejudice for The Doom Murders. Before you commit yourself, check TDMs out here: https://www.amazon.com/Doom-Murders-I...
Not racy, I'm afraid. In fact, if anything it's a mystery with religious undertones (because the killer is a fundamentalist!)

Hi Brian
Checked out your website. We must have similar tastes. My baddies are Cultist Fundamentalists too! My books aren't racy either, rather sending a message of religious tolerance set in Avebury Circle and around the world.

I will send you an email with the PDFs and look forward to reading yours. Kind regards, Chris

Hi everyone! I write crime thrillers. My first fiction novel is set in New York City. I love reading a wide variety of genres, from crime thriller, true crime to self help. I am a popcorn crunching movie buff, I love travelling. I collect movie memorabilia. Feel free to message me here, to talk and if you're interested in reading and reviewing my novel feel free to message me anytime for a free copy. I am currently working on the sequel to my first novel as well.
Hope everyone is having a great day,
Kind regards, Michelle.
Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving! I'm a new author, started writing in 2012. I read thrillers. I write thrillers. And the man that got me started on this journey was Brad Meltzer who puts out a Bestselling novel every year in the political thriller genre. Listening to him do radio show circuits in Miami, when I lived there, turned me on to writing and I never looked back. My most recent novel is Part I of a trilogy, The Chaos of Change. Right now I'm looking for reviews in the early phases, and can't wait to review some novels from the group!
Let me know if you're interested in a review swap asap and I'll pick up your book. I have a few weeks before I'm back writing again. So this is the best time to reach me! :) Kaylin

Good day to all. I am an author of fifteen novels published on Amazon. A variety of genres with the majority being Westerns. My latest novel, West to Ranger Creek is on Amazon for free from November 28 to December 2 of 2017. The details are as follows...Free Kindle give away on Amazon from November 28th. to December 2nd. of my latest western adventure.
West to Ranger Creek.
As Texas Ranger Captain Ridge Creek and his men survive a gunfight with Bob Lees Raiders in San Antonio, Texas, the lawlessness in the state since the end of the Civil War has become rampant. It is eighteen sixty-six during the Reconstruction Period and many soldiers mustered out of the Armies, both North and South only to return to burned-out homes and long gone families. Some turned to the trail West and Texan territory, bringing with them the hate and violence inherited from their four years of hell. Combined with the lack of military presence in Texas during these years of civil conflict the Comanche had gained a foothold and pushed the settlers back more than thirty miles as they continue their raiding parties unchecked across Texas and Mexico. With only the Texas Rangers to stand in their way. A historically factual novel with a peppering of famous Old West characters sprinkled in. Humor, tragedy, romance, bounty hunters, gunfighters and a strong dose of action make this third book of the Sundog Series a winner. Quite the Western Adventure.

Hello everyone. I am the author of the new YA fantasy/adventure novel Origin of Chaos of the ongoing Essentia Series. I enjoy reading novels across the genres of fantasy, adventure, thriller, horror, and crime as well. Personally, I am open to reading any form of novel. So, if you would like to do a review swap, I am open and willing to any genre.

Hey Denise,Interested in exchange review? Your latest sounds great. I just put out a thriller, it’s available on Amazon. Here’s the link and description.

Welcome to the imminent future: the American political gap is maximized; the individual states have begun clamoring for the disbandment of their federal government for its lack of stability; multiple power-hungry groups lick their chops at the thought of grabbing the reigns of the United States of America. And then a nation defining incident occurs, Article V of the U.S. Constitution is activated, and three sovereign territories come into existence.
But this hardly bothers Thaddeus Jackson – the son of a popular former president – who had money, fame, and a promising career in politics…until he ran away to the Alaskan wilderness to live in peace away from his family and the growing civil unrest.
What few know is that an elite group – led by Shane Wallace, Director of the CIA – has taken action. They recruit the very hesitant Thaddeus to be part of a diplomatic team tasked to negotiate the seemingly impossible peace between the liberal leaders of the North and his dysfunctional, republican family that now runs the South. The team includes Lozen Kyway, a highly-trained female agent turned bodyguard; Dr. Andreas Albrecht, a brilliant engineer and scientist who believes he’s discovered a truly sustainable, albeit dangerous, energy source; and Tomas Martinez, the former Vice President.
This elite group, and all its supporting team, will come together in a race against the clock to divert the territories away from war. New-age patriots will rise and fall, and new threats to democracy – never before imagined – will emerge from the shadows. Can the well-intentioned come together fast enough to ward off war in the states? Whose intentions are noble? Whose are full of malicious intent? Prepare yourself for an American era teeming with espionage, lies, murder, manipulation...The Chaos of Change!
Let me know if you’re interested!

Hi All, I have just joined this group. I have written 8 thrillers including 6 in my Powell series, which begins with Trafficking. I am also an avid reader of any genre but especially enjoy thrillers. I now need to go find how to upload at least a couple of my books. I write adult thrillers with some explicit sex so be warned!

Hi allYep, I'm another author who has no idea what he's doing when it comes to promotion!
Anyhow, I write sort of espionage thrillers with a touch of the military sitting in the background. So, think terrorists, drug runners, and those just simply seeking revenge and you'll get the idea.
My influences are probably Clive Cussler's, Ian Fleming, Vince Flynn and probably a few others.
There are 13 novels, 2 novella, and a couple of short stories in the mix, with my latest, Accelerated Dragon, nearing completion.
If anyone would like a look, here's the Amazon US link:

Hello, everyone! My name is Sari and I write dystopian thrillers with a female ensemble cast. My books tend to be a bit more bubbly than your run-of-the-mill thriller novels - more akin of the comic/film Kick-Ass. I also strive to include diverse characters in my stories.I live in Arizona with my wife and daughter. In my spare time, I collect video games and Star Trek action figures (my wife and I are avid Goodwill hunters!)
I love making friends on Goodreads so give me an add if you'd like! I am also open to review swaps.
Hello fellow thriller writers! I am so glad I found you. My debut novel is a psychological thriller. Professionally, I have worked in mental health/special education for decades.
Saints of Camarillo is an inside look at California State mental hospital through the eyes of a psychology intern from a religious university in the 1970s. She got more of an education than was ever intended. Based on a true story. Be aware there are adult themes and content.
I look forward to seeing your work.
Saints of Camarillo: Inside California's Infamous State Hospital
Hows it going everyone! I just joined good reads today in hopes of drumming up some notoriety for my first novel, Adrift, that I released back in March. Marketing is definitely not my forte so this has all been a wonderfully new challenging domain that I'm entering so hoping through these swaps I can not only build my book sales but gain some insight from all of you and successes and failures. After all, we're all in this together.
My novel is a thriller set during a zombie apocalypse. I place my characters on the safest place they could possibly be, a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean but they're running out of food, have no power and worst of all for millennial of this day and age. There is no access to the internet. And from there we follow three strong independent woman as they try to keep the peace and keep everyone on board hopeful that there's a way out from this grim scenario but with each day they find themselves adrift, the civilians are growing more and more restless and find themselves acting very much like the zombies they had avoided.

that is the link to the book on amazon. I love to read and am interested in reading literally anything so if this book excites you in anyway, let's get our swap on!
Good to be here,

Hi all, My name is Becky. I live in an area of England known as the Black Country, due to the heavy industry here turning the night sky red and the entire area black during the Industrial Revolution. If any of you are at all familiar with the TV series Peaky Blinders - my area is mentioned in that, as it is next door to Birmingham.
I used to write for a number of local websites, mostly about health related issues. Nowadays I restrict my writing to sci-fi/horror tales that no-one is ever likely to read.
I love reading - and have plenty of time to do so, having become disabled in 2004. I am largely bed-bound and almost completely house-bound. As a consequence, time is something I have plenty of. I've used it to my own benefit and completed two degrees since becoming ill.
I am more than happy to review anything and everything. The last year has been spent reading books I may not have chosen for myself. I have been pleasantly surprised at how many I have enjoyed.
If a book is available in Britain, I'm more than happy to review it - I know how hard it is building reviews on Amazon, Goodreads etc through a number of friends who are authors.
I am fine paying reasonable amounts, but I am limited in terms of funds, so if your books costs a lot I'm unlikely to be able to afford it - sorry, guys!
Nice to meet you all!
Becky
PS - I have been reading zombie novels for over 23 years after my husband got me addicted to them. Zombie novels are an easy sell to me, but I will be honest about what I think.
PPS - (honest moment) I did study Children's Literature in my last degree, however I keep academic critiques away from online unless someone specifically asks me, so you're all safe from that ;)

As an author, I've found it difficult to accumulate reviews, especially on Amazon. Even when new reviews are posted, many are voided and disappear just as soon as they appear. Plus, despite advertising, it is very difficult to get reviews regardless. As we all know, the more reviews an author accumulates, the better his or her chances are of getting noticed, having book deals, or becoming Amazon's daily deal.
