This is perfect! I've started reading Good Omens a couple of weeks ago. So far it's pretty damn funny, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

OK, I was looking forward to this but I’m 23% in and I am really struggling with it. I like both authors but it just isn’t working for me. I have chuckled twice but there is no other way to say this: I am bored. I will persevere and hope it improves. Am I the only one with this issue?

I first read this years ago but always thoroughly enjoy it on re-reading. Who knew an Apocalypse story could be so entertaining and ultimately hopeful.

How many times have you read it now? Is it one you go back to every few years?

They are doing a TV series of it now.

I think it might be BBC or else HBO, not sure.

Obviously one I haven't reached yet. I've just finished Steve Alten's "Meg" and setting goals of (a) reading ond book at a time and (b) within a week. I'll set "Good Omens" as next on my list.

Hi Greg - pretty much ALL Pratchett is on a bi-annual cycle. :). One of my all time faves.

I think the tv series is via Amazon but looks like BBC. Awesome casting!
