"Yes ma'am. I'm sorry about him. I shouldn't have left him unattended," Masato apologizes. "Could I take some bandages to have?"
"Usually it's when I'm not near and something happens that prods his itch for hurting others," Masato says. "But it's never gotten this bad before. Well, except when... when... Nevermind." Masato subconsciously rubbed his side.(goodnight!)
Masato sighs and steps away from Kuro, who lays down and pulls the blankets around himself like a cocoon. "I'm really sorry... Ugh, I was stupid to think he could handle that by himself. I really hope you don't have to leave," Masato says sadly. "Honestly, I think it would be mean of your parents to pull you out. You're gonna have to face the cruelness of the world at some point. They can't protect you forever... Although I guess being stabbed by someone might be a valid reason. Just say it was an accident."
(wOOP 7 HOURS 14 MINUTES LATE *dabs*)
(XD it’s fine!)“Don’t cry!” Masato says. “I’m glad you’re not leaving. I... I won’t let Kuro do that to anyone again. I’m so sorry. I was so stupid...”
Kuro, meanwhile, is bundled up like a burrito. He is sound asleep.
Masato shakes his head. “No, you wouldn’t have gotten so riled up if Kuro hadn’t provoked you and then taken it to the next level. Feel sympathy for him, but not too much or you’ll forget that part of how he is is his own choice.”
(rip) “Yeah. Where are you going?” Masato asks. “Oh, and after Kuro’s hibernation, he’s going to wake up and be really hyper. So be warned. I’m going to take him out by the lake so he can get out all his energy without damaging anything. I might need some help, so if you’re available, that’d be nice. Anyway, you can go ahead and go where you need to. I’m going to stay here to watch Kuro.” He glances back over at Kuro and sighs. “If only he was that peaceful all the time...”
Masato was asleep on the bed where Kuro used to be. He was snoring rather loudly. In his hand was a slip of paper with something scrawled on it.
The sheet of paper reads, "Go find that stuffed animal. Kuro doing fine in garden. Wake me up if asleep. -Masato".
Masato stirs and sits up. "What on earth...?" He turns his head slowly and jumps when he sees Rose. "AH! Didn't see you there! Sorry! Oh, you're probably looking for Kuro. He's in the garden. We can walk over there to see him if you want."
(yeah but with Kuro and Masato and Lizzy- I moved Masato over their earlier because i thought rose would be there then)
(Oh, welp, this is embarrassing. I didn't know I had to click to see all of the things. Sorry!)"Wait, I probably need to clean the wound," Masato said, getting up and walking to the infirmary.
Masato grabbed a bottle of rubbing alcohol and popped it open. "They should really have a nurse in here." He took of the bandages. "Ugh, this is gonna hurt. Sure, Whitney. You could put this in for me."
"Yeah," Masato said. He held out his hand. "Could you put the rubbing alcohol on the cut, Whitney?" He turned his head away and gritted his teeth. "I always hate doing it."
He smiled back and sat down on one of the beds. "I'm so reckless for cutting myself like that. Yeah, I guess.'
"Are you sure?" Masato asked, a bit disappointed. He didn't have a crush on Rose, but he really enjoyed her company.
"Alright," he said. "If you need anything, just holler." Masato sighed and laid back on the bed. "I slept terribly last night. Nightmares."
He waved back at her. "Watch out for Kuro!" he called after, laughing. "Mr. Explode won't be there to blow up his knife this time!"
"I'm so sorry," Masato said. His lip started to tremble. "That's so sad..." Masato had really great empathy for others, but that made him really sensitive. He cried at other people's woes.
"Why not?" Masato said. "No! Don't cry!" He moved to put a hand on her shoulder. Masato was worried about himself, though, too. He could already tell he was reverting back to his worse self without Rose or Kuro there.
He laughed with her. "I've talked to a lot of girls before. I have a sister too. Most girls end up mistaking my kindness for a crush. It's annoying."
"My best friend. He's not a great person, but that's alright..." Masato sighed. "He has a good reason though. He had an awful childhood."
