Let's discuss part 3 of The Night Circus (pages 294-392)! WARNING, if you have not read up to page 392, there may be spoilers down below.
*PLEASE NO SPOILERS PAST PAGE 392*

I’m pretty sure I just found my new favorite quote!

“Only the ship is made of books, it’s sails thousands of overlapping pages, and the sea it floats upon is dark black ink.”

The imagery is beautiful!

I could also almost smell the foods as they were described during other parts of the book. It made me so hungry!

I agree! the sailing book boat was very vivid in my mind. I'm not sure if it's because I'm listening to this on audio book or it's because it is the book but the details aren't sticking with me like other books. I think this is because it doesn't have a timeline to stick the details to.

I'm not sure if that makes sense. All the descriptions are beautiful but they get lost in the shuffle if I don't have a plot line to look back on. I'm really hoping things tie up in the next part because i feel like I'm reading poetry a bit. Beautiful writing and enjoying it in the moment but there isn't a story to keep with you.
