Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

Hi there, can you please help me with this if possible. My title 'Tyson & Joey: Two Worlds Collide' has a number of editions on good reads. I would like to combine them if possible. Also, the main edition that comes up when the title is searched, has an old book cover image. I would like the newest cover image to come up when the title is searched. This image can be found on one of the editions (black and white image), or it can be found on amazon, or on my website at www.tomjwatts.com

The editions are already combined.

Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as users want to shelve the cover of the copy they have.
For editions with the same ASIN/isbn and a new cover, we add an alternate-cover edition. When there is a new ASIN/isbn, a regular new edition should be added.

As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile.

Great, thanks for your help. I will wait to my author profile is approved, and then change default. Also, can you add links to where the book can be purchased, as current it does not reference amazon.com. only amazon.co.uk.

I think each user determines what purchase methods the books show through Account Settings/Book Links tab. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry, didn't notice you don't have a GR author profile yet.
Setting the default will be possible once your claim is processed by GR Support.

That's right.
Also, the Get a Copy links will only work for the edition on which page you are.
