Haruhi was just walking around the hallways for a while because she couldn't fall asleep. She sat down and she began crying. So much had happened today and it was eating her up. Ice began to crawl up the walls and floor, making it like an ice skating rink.

Felipe walked out of the bathroom and was heading back to his dorm when he started to feel cold. After a few observations, he noticed that the cold was coming from farther down the hall. He started to head down the hallway and when he came around the corner, he noticed Haruhi crying and an ice interpretation of the hallway. He sighed and started walking toward her.

Haruhi heard someone sigh and someone walk toward her. She tried to wipe up all the tears but, they kept coming. The ice began to make a wall around her. She tried to stop it but, she couldn't because her arms were shaking so much.

Felipe noticed that the ice was encasing her and that he was in no way going to be able to reach her in time. Therefore, he turned into fog and flew toward her. Squeezing through every little crack in the ice was an easy task for a gas and in no time he was on the inside of the ice wall. He materialized next to Haruhi and instantly wrapped his arms around her.

"I thought I left you at your dorm." Felipe said while holding her. "What are you doing out here?"

"AH!! Oh. Felipe, you scared me." she said as she tried to wipe the remaining tears.
"I was trying to sleep but, I couldn't. So, I decided to walk around the academy. What are you doing here? " she asked as she looked to see his arms were wrapped around her and they're faces were only inches away.She tried to move. But, she couldn't move because of the ice wall.

"It's a little bit crowded in here." Felipe said smiling. "I was in the bathroom and I suddenly felt a cold wave wash over me. So I follow you here." It was weird being so close to her but at the same time it felt really nice. "Why couldn't you sleep?" He asked her

" I was wandering. And, I just decided to sit and think. " she said.
It was cramped in the little ice box. But, it was nice at the same time.

"You seem calmer now." Felipe pointed out. "So tell me, what got you all upset?" He didn't mind being so close to her, right now. Although he was kinda sleepy.

"I was thinking about my past. I'm fine really. You should go to bed. You must be really tired. " I insist.
I wanted to lean my head against Felipe but, I didn't know if that would be ok. So, I just didn't move.

"I'm not going to bed until you are in your bed and sound asleep." Felipe said as he playfully and lightly bopped her nose with his index finger. "Which means you are going to make me break some rules."

"Wait what? You can't break the rules. And, you can't... do that. "

"Don't worry, I'll just going in and toss you into your bed." Felipe said. "Then I'll sneak out before anyone sees me." He gave her warm smile.

"But, you said you won't go to bed until I'm asleep. "

"Which is why you will fall asleep before I carry you to your dorm or I'll be forced to spend the night outside your dorm." He said. "Please don't make me sleep outside in the hallway."

((ew to much romance for me))

"Umm. It takes me a long time to fall asleep. "

"Then I guess we will be here a long time." Felipe said. He moved to get more comfortable but it was clear there wasn't enough space in the box for both of them. It was also clear that he was going to fall asleep first.

Haruhi tried to melt the ice box again. This time it work and she accidently got Felipe and her soaked. "I'm so sorry." she cried. "I didn't think it would melt. And, how would I get back to my dorm if I am sleeping?"

Felipe laughed they got soaked. "This day is just full of surprises." He chuckled. "What do you mean? I'll carry you, obviously." As if to prove his point, he got up, grabbed her and lifted her off the ground, literally.

"Ahh.. Stop. Put me down. You are going sllipp!!" she cried as Felipe slipped on the water and Haruhi fell onto him.

Felipe fell but he made sure that Haruhi's fall was cushioned by himself. He chuckled as he felt his whole back get soaked. "Yeah...I should have thought that through." He said. He looked at Haruhi that had fallen on him and smiled. "Next time, I'll make sure to have a better grip on the floor."

"Are you ok?" she asked. She stood up and froze the water on the floor. "Now we have an ice rink. Can you skate?"

Felipe slowly stood up. "I went skating once." He said . "That was with.....it was a long time ago." Felipe's voice shook for a moment and his face betrayed him. "I don't know if I still can." Felipe's face returned back to his usual safe as if nothing had happened. He smiled at her.

"What's wrong? I can change it back if you want." she said as she saw his face.
"Or I can help you. Come on. Grab my hand. I'll help you."

"Nothing....I'm fine." Felipe said and he took her hand. "I just need a bit of practice." He took an uneasy step on the ice and hold on as much as he could.

"Don't worry. You won't fall as long as you hold my hand. " I say as I squeeze him hands.

"I'm aware." He said. "I'll just follow your lead then." Although he was acting as normal once again, he was clearly troubled by something. He was not trying to show it, but it was there.

Haruhi could tell something was off with Felipe. She could tell because his hands were starting to sweat.
"Right foot, then left. Remember, I will make sure you stay balanced. I won't let you go. " she said.

((Really late for my flight, I'll reply when I land or tomorrow...depends on how late, I'll arrive.))

Felipe was following her instructions, but his mind was clearly still fighting between staying focus and warding off his past. He tried his best to hide it but he wasn't really good at it.

((So....my flight was delayed. I ran through the whole airport just to find out my flight leaves in 1.5 hours))

"Ohh. That is too bad.))
Haruhi stops them. "What is wrong ?" she asks.

"It's nothing." Felipe said. "I mean, it should be nothing. But....it's not. I...." Felipe let go of her hand and vanished in mist. He reappeared a few feet farther down the hallway, leaning with his back against the wall.

Haruhi glided over to him and places her hands on his shoulders so her couldn't move. "What is it?" she said.

"I got baggage." Felipe said. "My last relationship.....it didn't end well. Like at all. I got cheated on. She was the one I last went ice-skating with. And.....yeah....it's a wound that has not healed at all."

"Last relationship..." Haruhi said shakily, She falls to the floor on her knees. She curls up into a ball and ice forms around her.

Felipe watched her curl up and immediately his concern took priority over his own pain. He dropped to his knees and grabbed her before the ice completely encased her. He made a layer of mist over his body to avoid being frozen.

"Hey....what's wrong?" He asked. "Why are you getting upset all of a sudden?"

She just cries. "What's wrong? I don't know. I never know. I can't control my feelings anymore." she says as she begins to shake. "This is the second time. I have done this today. That must be some type of record." she says shakily.

Felipe grabbed her and pulled her out of the half-finished ice ball casing she was unconsciously creating. Once she was out, Felipe embraced her and held her close. They both really needed a hug.

Haruhi hugged him back and squeezed him tightly. She really needed a hug. It made her feel good. Loved.
"I'm sorry. " she says. "I cause a lot of drama for you. I'm really sorry" she says as more tears fall down her face. "I'm so sorry." ice began to crawl over the floor but, it wouldn't go near Felipe. It slowly began to crawl up Haruhi's legs.

((The Ice is eating her alive!!))

Felipe noticed that ice was crawling up her legs and he started to panic. As he hugged her, he lifted her off the ground in an effort to do something.

"Hey, not to panic or anything...." He said. "But your ice is freezing your body." He encased her in mist in an effort to slow down the ice.

((FOG!!!! WHY ARE YOU SO USELESS IN THIS SITUATION!? THIS IS WHERE FIRE WOULD BE A PROPER SOLUTION!))

"What??" she said. She began to panic even more. And the ice began coming quicker. "I need to calm down. Help me calm down! The ice will eat me alive! Do something the ice doesn't come near you. "

"Wow! Wow! Chill!" Felipe said. He was also panicking but his powers were not going to help out. He needed to melt the ice or get her to melt it. If he had any idea of how to do it, he would have done so.

"Haruhi, concentrate on melting it." He said. "Don't panic. Just listen to my voice. Concentrate and control it. Don't let it consume you. I don't want to lose you."

"You don't want to lose me?" she said. The ice stopped increasing but, it didn't go away. "Keep talking. It is working. Keep talking to me."

"I don't want to lose you." Felipe repeated. "I just met you but you make me feel wanted. I don't want to lose the chance to know you better, and certainly not like this. Today was a really strange day, but I feel it may have been the best day since I got here." He lowered her to the ground and smiled. "Don't freeze yourself."

"Don't freeze myself. " she tells herself. The ice slowly began to work. Felipe cared about her. He cared. That is what mattered to her. That is all that mattered. The ice completely melted when she thought of that. She was smiling up at Felipe and she didn't couldn't stop herself. "I think I like you" she said.
