Hype Or Not discussion

Yet again we see through Adam and get a glimpse of his struggle to become eligible to a better future, one he's deprived of but people like Gansey or Ronan take for granted. His strength is admirable, but I think that he always somehow finds himself falling short, the way he keeps comparing himself to his friends and aspiring to be like them, maybe even be them.

I feel sadness for Adam and the story just shows how much he wants a better life and what he's willing to do to get it. It shows how strong Adam is because with the deck stacked against him he'd still rather do things himself than take help which ultimately makes his character stronger.
