"And a 5, 6, 7, 8!" the dance instructor yelled. Char danced along with the others, which included Gwen.

((U THERE?))

Lynn walked in.
"Hey! Is this like, where the dance class is?" She asked loudly, chewing bubble gum and glancing at her perfectly polished black nails.

Carson looked over at Lynn and rolled his eyes.
He'd dated her in the past and realized she wasn't uhhhhh..... his type.

Lynn glanced at Carson.
"Ew," She said, then spotted Char, "Char! Hey, it's like me, Lynn!"

Char smiled. "Yeah, try not to be noticed. And, uhh, no gum." Char said.

Gwen exchanged looks with Char.

"Fine," She said, and took her gum out of her mouth. She held it with her fingertips then wiped it on some nerd passing by.
"Okay, so there. How are you guys?!"

"I'm fine," Char said. "You?"

"Yeah, so like I was wondering if this is the dance class," Lynn said. She looked around the dance studio.
"Uhhhhhh, I'm guessing it is...."

Some nerd sits next to Gwen and she yells, "Get away loser!" She pushes him out of the chair and and pulls a black napkin out of her bag.
"Sit Lynn." she said, messing with her hair.

"Oh thanks!" Lynn squealed and sat on the chair.
"Omigod. Carson is over there. I can't even look at him," She said dramatically, shielding her face.

Char looks at Gwen, smakcs her lips in a preppy fashion and smiled, and looked at the ground.

"Oh, nice shoes Lynn, I saw those at Wal-Mart last season." she said, looks at Carson, taps Char, and Gwen points at Carson.

Char glances at Carson. "Yeah," she said.

"Oh thanks," Lynn said, perking up, "Wait..... Are you saying my shoes are last season?!"

"Oh no!" Gwen said, playing with her hair. "I just saw em' in the clearance section at Wal-Mart. That wouldn't mean that, right?"

"Do the math," Char whispered very calmly.

"Oh well," Lynn said, sadly, "I just won't ever wear them again after today."

"Good if your gonna be our friend; get rid of em'." she said.

The teacher looked at Gwen.
"Did you say anything important? Would you like to repeat it to the class?"

"Hm... yeah, sure why not," she says, raising her eyebrows and glaring at Lynn.

"Mean!" Lynn whispered to Gwen, then smiled, "You're right of course."

"I was just gonna say that Lynn thinks Carson is a total hottie ! Isn't that right, Lynn?"

Char rolled her eyes, trying not to crack up.

Lynn looked at Gwen in complete shock.
Then glanced at Carson horrified.
"How... How could you say that?!" She screeched.

Carson rolled his eyes and smiled in spite of himself, while Lynn fanned her pink face with her hand.

"Alright, that's all I have to say Sonia. Unless you would like me to share more?" she said, glaring evilly at Lynn.

"No! She has nothing else to say," Lynn said, smiling sweetly, but clenching her teeth.
She glanced at Carson and nearly fainted.

Carson winked flirtatiously at Gwen.

Char giggled under her breath because of how Carson was taunting Lynn.

Lynn's face turned beet red.
"Stop!" She screeched, and ran out of the class.

Gwen pulls out her phone, slides it open and texts

Carson glanced at Gwen again. She was pretty hot. So was Char.....

Char played with her hair trying to act like she wasn't paying attention.

Lynn's phone vibrates.
"Gwen? Oh she's probably apologizing," She mumbles under her breath.
She looks at the text message.

She cracks open the door to the class and sees Carson making googly eyes at her best friends.
She turns red and runs away sniffling.

Making googly eyes back at Carson.
She texts him, ur hot, but im taken

Carson checks his phone.
He proceeds to stare at Char.

He smiled at Char.

Char rolled her eyes. She didn't want him to know she wanted him.

(leans in to char and raise her eyebrows) ask him

Char turned to face Gwen. "In the middle of dance class? No way."

(walks forward) hey carson (raises her eyebrows) hey char thinks your hot cant you tell she is hot! (winks) "her bubble pops" (she takes her gum out of her mouth and sticks in a girls hair)

(the teacher looks at her) exuse me gewn!

teacher: go to the mr. hams office right now
