I admit I read the book really fast, but it seemed to have a lot of plot holes & contradictions.

Bill always hides from other angels because they can detect him. Luce questions this, but continues to trust him & take his advice. This is alright, she has already shown that she has horrible instincts. Is it "Bill" that appears to Daniel in the Announcer mid-time-travel to advise him to go back the beginning? Or one of his minions? I wonder, because Daniel never catches on to Bill's real identity then. If it is one of Satan's minions, that never gets explained (or I missed it).

If Satan could travel back in history via Announcer, this is the time he chooses? Just because Daniel & Luce might get the curse lifted? Seems like he might have used this strategy at some other time to accomplish some larger goal.

How did poor Luce end up cursed anyhow? Daniel shoots off his mouth to God, insults Satan, and they decide to punish Luce along with Daniel?

I haven't read Rapture yet. It is on hold at the library. Perhaps some of these things will be explained.
