April Teesdale (aprilteesdale) | 46 comments Hi there, I'm a new member here I was wondering if someone could give me some recommendations on Supernatural horror that includes ghosts and not werewolves, or vampires or tangible monsters.
Thanks

Silvia Turcios | 30 comments I like very much the series of Lockwood & Co. I am not sure if it is a YA or a middle grade book, but it is really enjoyable :)

Benjamin Appleby-Dean (benjaminappleby-dean) Hi April. It really depends on whether you want classic ghost stories (of which there are many) or ones written in the last few years?
I can recommend both...

In that case I can recommend Dark Matter and Thin Air by Michelle Paver, Rawblood by Catriona Ward, The Small Hand and Dolly by Susan Hill, The Haunted Book by Jeremy Dyson, and Heart-Shaped Box by Joe Hill.

Some are more traditional than others (Joe Hill is the most modern in style, whereas Michelle Paver is going for a more old-fashioned approach), but hopefully at least one of them will be what you're after!
