I have one. I like it a lot, but the fact that it still doesn't have a case (they aren't going to be available until the 20th) limits its usefulness to me. I like the light. I like the added storage. I love the way it feels to hold it. It's actually perfect, with the easy finish and the soft, warm light, to curl up under a blanket with on the couch on a cold winter's night. I dislike how slow the buttons are at turning the page. The touch screen is quick, but the buttons. Ugh. I know at the price point it can't keep up with the lightning-fast Kindle, but if it could just keep up with itself it would be great. I'm kind of hoping that can get fixed with a software update.
In case anyone's wondering they're advertising a Black Friday $99.99 prices. Also, $50 worth of gift cards gets you a $10 gift card. So you could get an additional $20 in gift cards by buying it with that promotion.
I have a v3. It's flaky, even with the most recent OS update that puts all the books into a single directory.I've had it tell me all my USB-sideloaded books are corrupt and have to be erased (did that).
I've had "cannot open reader"
I've had it tell me books I sideloaded by USB (.epub files) can't be opened and will be downloaded again later -- huh? I didn't buy those from BN.
Seems it's getting confused about what BN sold me.
I bought it for the amber glowlight, which I do like (bought it after having an original v1 glowlight screen break, and BN saying "can't do anything about that".

What do you all think? I'm impressed they listened to their fans and brought the buttons back. Kinda "meh" about the night reading, and honestly losing the waterproof functionality seems like a step backwards. I'm surprised they didn't keep both of them.
Thoughts?
