Caverns line the area, making it a perfect spot for a hide out of an ambush.

Olivia stood on the bridge overlooking the waterfall. It wasn't particularly large, Olivia had certainly seen larger waterfalls, ones that made the ones below seem like specs of dust in comparison. Regardless, even with their small size, they were quieter than they should have been, as was everything else. The entire area was hauntingly quiet, the only prominent sound being Olivia's humming. The tune was as complex as a piano concerto, yet soft as a lullaby. She had grown tired of sitting around in the dull old castle her family lived in, it was bland and lacked any sort of appeal. The area around the falls at least had some colour which couldn't be said about her home. She leaned over the edge as she hummed so that she could watch as the water went over the edge and spilt into the shallow pool.

Ana walked in the forest while looking around at all of the beautiful nature surrounding her. She had on her signature red riding hood as always. She was humming a quiet tune as she walked but stopped when she noticed a beautiful waterfall not to far away. She quickened her pace as she walked towards the waterfall, the small smile on her face growing bigger by the second. She had never seen the waterfall before despite the fact that she explored the woods often.

Olivia stayed in place, her dress flowing in the breeze. It was far less a statement of her wealth as many others of hers were, but rather one that was both chic yet comfortable, something far more suited to her choice of activity for the day which included being outdoors in a wooded area. She sighed knowing that she'd have to head back home at some point otherwise she'd worry her parents. She never understood why they would worry though, she was more competent than just about anyone in the kingdom and if she couldn't handle it then she'd just dangle her grandfather's name and title. The name Graydon Miranova was usually enough to scare off anyone who was beyond her calibre.

As she looked around at the surrounding she noticed a splash of red. It took a moment, but she recognised it to be a person and watched intently from a distance. She didn't feel the need to leave her spot, she was quite comfortable after all, besides if she did move she'd have to alter her entire sphere of quiet.

Ana stopped right at the edge of where the ground stopped and where the water started to flow. She was mesmerized by the fascinating sight in front of her that was unlike anything she'd ever seen before. There was a cool breeze that surrounded the waterfall and although it wasn't super strong it was strong enough to blow the hood of her red riding hood off of her head to reveal her brown hair. She hardly noticed this though because of what was in front of her.

Olivia looked at the girl as she stopped at the edge of the water. The red hood which she had been wearing had been blown off her head. From where Olivia stood the hood being gone made it far easier to see her face. Just watching did often come off as creepy so Olivia rose to her full height and smiled at the girl from the bridge. "Hello!" She chirped, her voice echoing out smoothly and softly across the water. Olivia's intonation made clear that she was amongst the upper class and used to speaking to people.

Ana turned her head after she heard someone say hello. Ana finally noticed that she wasn't alone in the forest by the waterfall. A girl was also by the waterfall and Ana assumed that she must've been the one that said hello.

"Hello," Ana finally replied.

It seemed the person below had difficulty spotting her at first which Olivia almost found entertaining. Once she actually responded Olivia tilted her head ever so slightly, "What is it that brings you out here?" She asked curiously. Whilst she herself had no other places to be, she wasn't sure why someone else would be spending time around the waterfall. Had her brother not been feeling somewhat responsible she'd probably be doing something a bit more interesting with him, but alas, he was which left her to stand around a waterfall in silence.

Ana looked back at the waterfall after saying hello to the girl but turned her head to face the girl again when she heard her ask her a question.

"I always love exploring the woods," Ana replied, "what about you?"

This time she stopped herself from looking back at the waterfall.

((Oh, sorry!))

Olivia raised an eyebrow, she herself questioned how one would enjoy the bugs and heat, but to each there own, Olivia's own being palaces and fashionable ballgowns. "Nothing is happening at home and my brother is off doing who knows what," She sighed wistfully, wishing she could spend some time with him instead of standing on a bridge in the forest. "This proved to be my second choice." She continued simply. Her options were limited so she chose a place that would at least have some pleasant scenery. "It is pretty, I'll certainly give it that!" She chirped cheerily, her mood taking a quick shift.

((It's okay.))

"I've never seen this waterfall before," Ana said, "I must've taken a wrong turn or something but honestly I'm glad I did."

There was a smile on Ana's face. She enjoyed being out in nature when she wasn't at the bakery with her family trying to make scones or other things like that.

"Hm, I've been here a few times, mainly in passing, but not often just to watch the water," Olivia explained calmly yet sweetly. Her family was absurdly wealthy and in the past, they travelled quite often, the bridge was a common place that her family went through on their journeys. Unfortunately, her grandfather limited the number of trips they went on so she didn't get to see new places as often which Olivia truthfully missed. "Were you headed somewhere in particular?" she asked, curious as to if there was another area in the forest worth seeing.

"Yes I was actually. I was planning on going to the lake," Ana replied, "it's also a beautiful sight to see. Where were you headed when you passed the waterfall?"

Ana wondered if this girl knew of any places in the forest, besides here and the lake, that were interesting and worth seeing. She assumed that the girl was passing the waterfall to go to another place in the forest.

"I actually hadn't intended to head anywhere else," Olivia admitted dismissively. "I don't know many other scenic areas in the woods." She explained calmly. She was typically indoors or in town so or the most part the woods were a mystery to her, what few places she did know were a carriage ride away. "Is there anywhere else worth seeing?" She asked curiously, wondering if there was possibly another place to spend her free time.

"I don't really know any other interesting places in the forest besides the lake and here," Ana replied, "I can though think of a couple of interesting places to see in the town. I know the town a lot better then the forest."

Ana spent all of her life that she could remember in the town. It is her home after all. She couldn't possibly think of another place that she knew better.

((My most profuse apologies! Exams and the likes caused me to forget a bunch of my rp’s. I do hope we can continue. Seeing how tardy I am do take your time, I certainly do not mind.))

Olivia smiled, her expression vaguely disappointed. She straightened out her dress and glanced around to ensure there were no creeps waiting nearby. Once she was sure she got herself into the railing of the bridge standing on it without the slightest wobble. She stepped of, but instead of falling it seemed almost as though she were walking on air. It was her ability of flight in use, she thought that it seemed more elegant if she acted as though she were walking on air. Once she reached the edge of the small lake she extended a hand, “Well then...” She began a more jovial smile on her face, “I propose an adventure of sorts.” She finished cheerily. “I’m Princess Olivia Miranova, a pleasure to meet you.” She introduced kindly, her vice sweet as candy. She was quite formal and was sure to include her title. Her grandfather was once the king before the Silvers came along and even still he was a grand duke so she maintained her title of princess. She found great pride in this fact which is why she was certain to mention her last name.

((It's alright. I understand being super busy. I defiantly want this roleplay to continue.))

Ana watched as the girl stepped onto the railing of the bridge.

"Maybe you shouldn't do that," Ana started but she became speechless when she saw the girl walk on air. Although Ana knew about the abilities it still fascinated her to see others use them. She then heard the girl's voice and she returned to reality. The girl introduced herself as being a princess. Ana knew that she wasn't apart of the current royal family but she still curtsied before introducing herself.

"My name is Ana and it is nice meeting you as well."

Then Ana took Olivia's hand and said, "An adventure is exactly what I need."

“Lovely!” Olivia chirped, her voice like the ringing of a small bell. Seeing as she was goin to be leaving she had no reason to maintain the muffling effect on the surroundings. Suddenly the area seemed to fill with sounds, birds chirped, the running water became far more audible and the sounds of animals scampering through the bushes could be heard. She may not have been able to compare to her grandfather who if he wished could have silenced half the forest simply for the sake of it, but with her excessive practice she was able to rather effortlessly affect the area they were in.

“How about we head that way?” She suggested, he’d brown eyes flickering over in another direction. She used her other hand to point where she thought they should go. Whilst it was out of character for her to spend time with commoners or anyone below the title of count or countess she had little to do so for this one time she was willing to make an exception.

Ana smiled when suddenly the surroundings came to life. She could here the birds chirping and the tranquil sound of the water falling. She was curious as to why she hadn't heard these sounds earlier. Part of her thought that she had used her abilities without thinking but she couldn't possibly think of a reason why any part of her might want to get rid of the peaceful sounds of the area surrounding her. Her thoughts were interrupted though when she heard Olivia ask her a question. Ana looked in the direction that Olivia was pointing towards. It simply looked like any old part of the forest but Ana knew that the forest held many secrets waiting to be discovered.

"Sure," Ana finally replied. She was very excited for what was to come.

Olivia seemed to float instead of walk as they made their way in the direction which she had so haphazardly chosen. Years of being in the eyes of the public caused her to master the art of elegance, even if unintended she moved fluidly, like a dance. Unlike Ana who enjoyed the forest's sounds, Olivia found them incessant when left unchecked, she lived surrounded by luxury so it was common that the kingdoms greatest musicians were there to entertain her on a whim, she was adjusted to the most finely crafted sounds in all Astarial, no animal really compared. For that reason, she was almost relieved when the area they were walking in wasn't overly filled with wildlife, though it still hosted a fair amount.

"I do wonder what could be out here, my grandfather said that in his youth he would come out here to practice his powers and that he'd see very interesting things," Olivia stated dismissively, looking ahead, keeping an eye out for any such things. "For someone who was once feared as the most powerful man in the kingdom and revered as its ruler, he rarely uses these incredible abilities he is said to possess. I'd never question he had them, but I feel seeing him as a dragon just once would be quite intriguing." She remarked, speaking of her grandfather, further flaunting her status and bloodline. For Olivia such was simply natural and wasn't at all an active attempt at being vain, she genuinely did think it would be fascinating to see the massive golden dragon form that supposedly made it easy for him to rule.

((Sorry. I never got a notification for this thread.))

Ana followed Olivia through the forest. She took her time taking in the beautiful surroundings and the smile on her face grew every time she saw or heard the sound of a new animal she hadn't seen or heard before. Although there weren't that many animals a large smile was still on Ana's face within seconds.

Ana listened to what Olivia had to say and even though multiple questions entered her mind, one left the tip of her tongue,"Your grandfather could shapeshift into a dragon?"

Even though it wasn't the first question that most people would ask after hearing what Olivia said Ana had never met anyone who, at the very least knew someone who, could shapeshift into such a powerful creature. Although her shapeshifting abilities were more powerful then her families she still couldn't shapeshift into something like that.
