Demetria flew over the trees. She was currently a beautiful snowy owl that was completely white except for her eyes which were ice blue. She had never seen this part of the wildwood before. It was beautiful. She noticed a lake and decided to land on a tree branch and look at it.
((Goodnight.))
Demetria looked around, trying to see who was talking to her. She then looked down and saw someone.
"I'm Demetria," she said, "what is your name?"

"I'm Demetria," she said, "what is your name?"
"I was flying over the forest not to long ago," Demetria replied. Demetria was looking more at the lake then she was at Luthiel. The lake was simply stunning and she had to look at it.
"I shapeshifted into an owl," Demetria replied.
"Yes. I'm a Helious," Demetria said to Luthiel.
"It's one of the shapeshifting levels," Demetria explained, "there are three shapshifting levels. Sophulious, Helious and Lovious which is the highest level."
"It's alright," Demetria replied before pausing for a moment and then asking, "can you shapeshift?"
"What abilities do you have," Demetria asked. She was still an owl sitting on the tree branch.
"Interesting," Demetria replied.
"Can't you control it," Demetria said, " control what thoughts you read and what thoughts you don't read?"
"Fascinating," Demetria replied, "I haven't really spent much time thinking of abilities other then my own and those who are close to me."
"That makes sense," Demetria answered, "I probably think about my abilities a lot now that I really think about it. They are such a big part of me."
"No. Why would someone think that?" Demetria asked puzzled.
"Well I guess in someways I could understand that," Demetria replied honestly, "but you seem like a nice person."
Demetria flew off of the tree branch and by the time she reached the ground she had shapeshifted back into her usual self. She was wearing a simple blue dress and flats. Her long curly blonde hair was in a half ponytail. Nothing gave her away as being a member of nobility although she didn't look like a peasant.

Demetria stepped back when she noticed that Luthiel had a knife.
"Yes. What about you?"
"Yes. What about you?"
Demetria finally got a good look at the lake. It was amazing. Although she heard Luthiel's response anyone could tell that something else was distracting her.
"Of course. It beautiful."
Demetria walked towards the lake and sat beside it. She held out her hand and started to play with the water.

Demetria turned back to look about Luthiel.
"What is your other ability," she asked.
"What is your other ability," she asked.
"Whenever you refer to you ability you always say abilities. I guess I just assumed that because of that you had more then one that's all. I could be wrong but I couldn't help my curiosity."
"Really," Demetria asked as she stood up and turned to face Luthiel, "that is such a cool and unique ability. I don't I've ever met anyone that could do that."
Demetria thought about it for a moment before she shook her head.
"No, why?"
"No, why?"
"Right," Demetria said remembering that there were people out there who were desperate to know what their future held.
"Wow," Demetria said. She couldn't believe what she was hearing.
Demetria was still learning when it came to those who were less privileged then her and despite the fact that she felt terrible for Luthiel and wanted to stop hearing this sad story she didn't say anything.
"It's.... good," Demetria replied. She had conflicting thoughts about how to answer that question. She honestly didn't know an answer that was certain.
"I understand that I'm privileged but I just.... I don't know," Demetria replied. She didn't know what to say after that.
"I guess you could say I am but....," Demetria continued.
"I just.... I don't know how to say this."
"I just don't know if you'd understand," Demetria said.
"I just..... for the longest I never knew anything outside of my home and school."
"I know and I only recently found that out. I'm learning though.... I hope."
"I've always been this way," Demetria replied, "I've always been curious about what was outside my home and although I found out a few things when I first went to Frostfire Academy, I still didn't know nearly as much as I wanted to know."
"You haven't heard anything about the academy before," Demetria asked, "I thought that...."
She stopped herself.
She stopped herself.
"Right," Demetria said, "well Frostfire Academy is where people can work on their abilities. I go there."
Demetria nodded. She started to play with her curly blonde hair.
"There are mostly members of nobility at the academy but not everyone is," Demetria explained.
"I don't know," Demetria replied, "I guess it's always been this way."
"It never entered my mind," Demetria replied.
"Yes," Demetria replied, "any and every ability has entered the academy doors at one point or another."
"I'm sure someone with your abilitities has come to the academy before. Sure maybe no one with both of the abilities but definitely at least two people that had your abilities."
((Ok. Thanks for letting more know.))
"I think so.... but I'm not positive. I mean I'm certainly fine with them."
"I think so.... but I'm not positive. I mean I'm certainly fine with them."
"Although I'd rather keep some of my thoughts to myself I actually think that it's kind off cool that you can tell other fortunes."
"I'm sorry to hear that," Demetria replied now somewhat disappointed again. She felt bad for Luthiel. Demetria knew that she had lived a privileged life but it was still hard to rap her head around the fact that life was bad for so many other people.
"Don't you believe in second chances," Demetria asked.
"Well.... if you think someone deserves a third chance wouldn't you give it to them?"
Demetria thought about all of the many chances she had given to some people. Was she the only one that did that? She immediately shook that thought out of her head. There was no way that she was the only one.

"Oh..." Demetria said, a somewhat hidden sad tone in her voice.
She realized that the fact in her head that she wasn't the only one that gave multiple chances must've been an assumption like many of her other thoughts. She was slowly realizing just how many things she assumed about people that weren't even true. She hoped that at least some of her good assumptions were true.

Demetria was confused for a second before remembering Luthiel's talent. She wasn't used to speaking to someone who could read her mind. It was something she knew she could get used to though.
"That's good to hear," Demetria finally replied.
"That's good to hear," Demetria finally replied.
"I can shapeshift into an owl and a lynx," Demetria replied, "also I understand that reading others thoughts is a habit for you."
"Well I can transform into a couple other things from time to time but those are the two things that I'm best at," Demetria explained, "also I don't think I've ever met someone who could shapeshifter into another person."
