Callan has gunmetal grey eyes, which can become intense in a matter of seconds, but still present a softer side to him. His hair remains short on the sides, but long on the top, often sticking up straight rather than combing nicely down. It's a light brown color with an unexpected softness. Light but still present freckles scatter themselves underneath his eyes and across his nose.

Personality:
An intuitive introvert. He prefers a setting in which he can get things done with little to no help, while thinking outside the box and being creative with his options. He is open to a new perspective and curious, but can sometimes get carried away with trying things out. Callan has a knack for finding hidden possibilities, and bringing them to the surface. He improvises, a lot, except for when he is working with the blacksmith, some rules just aren’t meant to be broken, or bent. If you pitch a good enough idea, you may have a friend for life with him. He is loyal, and never turns his back on his few, but true friends.

History:
Callan was born in Kaldore Town, but left with his mother after his father was murdered. The two lived outside of the town for many years before returning to his roots after his mother fell fatally ill and died when he was 12.
The blacksmith, Fitzgelard has initially met the young Wayland when he was a young child, on the many occasions that he would sit just outside the doorway of the workshop and intently watch him work with the molten metals. Upon his return to Kaldore he began as an apprentice for Fitzgelard, to help him afford the necessary supplies to survive. Callan has a natural talent for the blacksmith business and it only seemed to grow, his ability of metal manipulation forming like the objects in the shop, slow but steadily.
You can't work with a Blacksmith without meeting his family, so he grew close with the Fitzgelards. The daughter of the family, Zariah, became his closest friend. They spent hours in the workshop and hours bondings. He'd do anything for her at this point, she had helped him so much after his return, but shortly after his abilities first manifested the blacksmith became focused on developing the powers more, losing focus of his own child.
