Personality: Orion is a calm and kind person, he greatly enjoys literature in all forms. He's adverse to giving up on any student and he'll go far out of his way to help a student understand the material. He prefers to help people's creativity flourish, but he has a curriculum to follow, so he does what he can to intersperse the rigid curriculum and the entertaining creative writing.

History: Growing up as the oldest of three, Orion took over the role of the man of the house when his father died in a terrible fire. He was incredibly close to his father, and it took many months for him to move on from his loss, and in reality, he still hasn't let go. He worked hard to do well throughout all his schooling, even taking time to be a tutor in English and Literature for any students. While all his grades were good, he excelled in the English classes and was encouraged by his teacher to go on for his teaching schooling. When he returned to Redthorn Academy with his teaching degree he was quickly taken on as an aide for the previous English teacher. Once that teacher retired, Orion became the English teacher at 32 and he's been settling into his new role.

Andy has a thick mop of wavy brown hair that she usually leaves down, Her hair reaches her mid back. Andy occasionally puts her hair in a bun, only when she needs all the hair out of her eyes. Andy's eyes are a murky brown sort of color, that appear black most of the time. She has long and thick eyelashes that frame her doe eyes. Andy has a slim figure and is tall, standing at 5'10.

Powers: Andy has exceptional control over her powers. She has the ability to move things with her mind. Andy has such good control of her powers, that she can move incredibly small things as well. For example, she could use her mind to tear off a small corner of a book, or press a button on her phone. Andy's other power is force field creation. She can create force field bubbles and contain things inside them.

Personality: Andy is very sarcastic and snarky to most. She enjoys her job, and hates being disturbed when she's reading. Andy always gives out passes to come in to the library at night. She's usually shelving books while sitting at her desk. Andy can be very nice, and is usually protective of the students she favors. She has an odd sense of humor, and doesn't scare easily.

History: Andy got in trouble a lot as a child. Her powers developed at age two, and was always using them for mischief. Things only got bad when Andy broke a child's arm in 4th grade for making fun of her hair. Her mother decided that if Andy couldn't behave, then she'd have to be home schooled. From age 10-14, Andy was home schooled, until she was of age to be sent to Redthorn. There, Andy learned how to better control her powers and even discover a new one. A year after Andy graduated, the previous Night Librarian retired and Andy applied for the job. She has been working at the school for four years now.

Being a man of importance, Nicholas is rather refine and wears a tailored black suit along with nicely fitted pants. His dark brown hair is combed and to his great pleasure, his old eyes have a certain youth-like spark to them, to which some may call a mischievous appearance overall. His stone hard face can slowly transform into that of enjoyment, to most people's surprise. He stands at an average height of six feet, plus a couple of centimeters. Nicholas can always be seen with his cane, a cigarette, and a nice cup of freshly made orange juice.

Nicholas is not one to be trifled with. He can quite literally make you do things you have no control over, should you displease or disrespect him in any way. He is rather stern and most of the students heed his advice whenever he offers it. Needless to say, Nicholas doesn't always have such a grumpy composure. He is quite a nice fellow, once you get to know him. Often times, he can be rather loud and joyous whenever he becomes excited about what he had just read or a new discovery popping into his head.

{History}
Nicholas was born into a rich family deep in the heart of the city of London. The Cores were one of the most popular and wealthy families in the glorious city and have remained so for more than two hundred years. His super super super old great-grandfather had the ability to mesmerize as well as detect jewels and gold from deep within the earth. So he used his abilities in order to start off his future family with plenty of money. Funnily enough, the precious items Nicholas's great-grandfather found in the olden days, are still being used by himself and his siblings today.
When Nicholas was much younger, he was reckless. So much so that he was landing himself in prison every few months. He made bad deals with men in the gambling dens and it nearly cost him is life. It was when he was on the run from a treacherous gang that he used his ability for the second time in public to help him escape. He stopped twenty men in their tracks and ran for dear life. Thankfully giving the men a false identity, he was hunted fruitlessly. And that was when his dear sister suggested that he should retreat to the academy. He was a recent graduate at the time and eventually gave in to the idea that he could perhaps find a job at the academy. Though, this meant he would have to leave the girl he loved and the comforts from home. But then he'd be safe at the same time. . . A few weeks later, Nicholas staged his death and his girlfriend thought he was truly dead. But the next morning, Nicholas was not in the next life, but was working as a library assistant in Redthorn. Forty years later, Nicholas has taken over as the librarian and is thoroughly enjoying every second of it. Even shushing the loud students gives him great pleasure.

Having this ability has always come with a price for the Core family. Each and everyone of his ancestors have had this ability for as long as anyone could remember and they always each other the same thing: never display it in front of anyone other than your family. That is, it's suggested that you shouldn't but many members of the family have actually shown their ability in front of strangers. Nicholas was one of the youngsters who decided to show a girl, whom he was courting at the time,and showed her what he could do. It mainly involves her jumping up and down tirelessly and she admits that even to this day, she didn't feel the least bit tired. Nicholas, on the other hand, was quite exhausted and headed home soon afterwards. Now that Mister Core has grown and matured, he can now mesmerize people and animals with ease. Anything with a mind of it's own is what he can control. Even from a long distance of about fifty feet, he can still manipulate your mind. Well, he has to see you before he can use his ability. And should he choose to, he can mesmerize multiple people at once.

In all his many years, Ed has only fallen in love twice. Once with a woman, the other with a man. He wouldn't really say he has a sexuality, to him; It doesn't matter.
Appearance:
Ed takes on the form of a teenager. He was experimenting with spells and potions, hoping to find something to make him immortal. In a way, Ed succeeded, but his physical form was reverted to when he was a teenager. Ed's appearance hasn't changed for over two decades. Ed has short (And very soft) curly caramel brown hair that hangs loosely like a mop on his head. Ed's eyes are a captivating brown, with a bright gold surrounding his iris. He has long eyelashes to frame his eyes. If you were to stand about three inches away from Ed, you'd notice several jarring scars protruding from the right side of his face. The most prominent scar traces from the right corner of his lips, curving slightly at his jawline and ending an inch under his collarbone. The rest of the scars are very faint and line the most prominent one. They have faded over the years, but if you were to stand close, they'd be right there.
Ed stands at about 5'2 feet and weighs 119 lbs. He mainly wears formal clothing.

Powers:
The Redthorn's have owned the Academy for centuries, and their abilities are in their DNA. Every Redthorn has had the same powers. Ed's powers are a mash of everything. He can wield the elements, use telekinesis, mind control and even heal. Healing and Mind Control are things that Ed struggles with, so he never uses them, and was looked down on by his mother because of that.

Personality: Ed is a very cheerful and caring person. He is self-conscious about his appearance and hides in his office all the time. Only the Staff know about this problem. The students have no idea and are not allowed to enter his office unless summoned. Ed is strict in most situations, and chooses to be serious, mainly to seem intimidating because of his height. Ed is a lonely person and hardly talks to anyone anymore. He wishes for companionship, but because he is now immortal, he doesn't want to get attached to someone and then lose them.

History:
Ed was born on a particularly stormy day on Halloween night. Edward's mother was quite disappointed that she gave birth to a son instead of a daughter like she had hoped. Edward's father was able to convince her a few hours later that a son would be better, to carry on the Redthorn name. Edward had a fairly normal childhood, except, instead of playing with toys; he was taught how to control his many abilities, that his mother shared with him. Ed's father had abilities as well, but he chose to suppress them and only use them if they were in danger. Once Edward was of age, and after years of homeschooling, Edward was immediately enrolled in Redthorn Academy, his mother being the headmistress. During Edwards years at Redthorn, he discovered his mother attempting to create a spell that would make her live longer. Edward became very interested in this and attempted to help her. After a few months, they succeeded, although there was one problem. After Edwards mother lived for another sixty years, And Edward was much much older, His mother began to get younger and younger, until she eventually disappeared in his arms, only leaving her ring behind. After she 'died' Edward vowed to continue her research, until he could create the perfect immortality spell. Years and Years passed, until finally, when Edward was on his death bed, the spell was finished. He used it with whatever remaining strength he had left and blacked out. When Edward woke up, he was reverted to a teenage form, and couldn't die. Edward became secluded after this, not wanting anyone but the staff to know what he had become.
