Elyse (winesaboutbooks) I still have 9. Ugh. Reading only Stephen King in October really threw off my challenges but it was fun!

Martha Owen (marthalovesbooks) | 2 comments I have 4 left! book over 100 years old (Anges Grey), National Book Award Winner (Mockingbird), Food Memoir (struggling with this one) and Banned book (To kill a Mockingbird). I did have like 10 left in October and thought to give up but I kicked it into high gear. :)

Therese | 46 comments Don't forget to check the lists that Good Reads has. They have some great ideas. I just searched "food memoir" and came up with these.

I did finish my challenge. It is listed where people put their reading lists to begin with.

Therese | 46 comments Absolutely nothing to apologize for. I enjoy seeing what other people are reading too. I'm also trying to guess what they will come up with for 2018? Not to mention whether I will find another one to do as well like I did this year?

Krista (katwell) | 3 comments I'm hustling but I don't think I'll complete the challenge. Currently working on:

Book more than 100 years old: Little Women (how have i never read this?! i'm almost finished.)

Food Memoir: Coming to my senses: The Making of a Counterculture Cook by Alice Waters

A book based on a fairy tale: No idea what to read for this one, will check lists

A romance that takes place during travel: Not sure of this one either

A book set in Asia: I plan to read The Kite Runner

A nonfiction book about nature: I plan to read Wild

A book about a historical event: Not sure...

Martha Owen (marthalovesbooks) | 2 comments Girls made of snow and glass is a good retelling of Snow White.

Krista (katwell) | 3 comments thank you for the suggestion!

message 8: by Teresa (new)

Teresa I liked An Accidental Goddess as a time travel romance and Book of a Thousand Days is a retelling of a Grimm fairy tale.

message 9: by Teresa (new)

Teresa Historical fiction is my favorite genre. Some of my favorites this year are Madame Tussaud A Novel of the French Revolution, Fatal Fever Tracking Down Typhoid Mary, The War That Saved My Life, Women Heroes of World War II.

Krista (katwell) | 3 comments Thank you! Women Heroes of WW II sounds great!
