Does anyone here work with Runes? If so do you have a good starter book recommendation? I want to start incorporating Runework into my daily routine and have no idea where to start!

I've been reading "Nordic Runes" by Paul Rhys Mountfort. it's been one of the best. I'd stay away from anything written by Blum. it's all crap and newage nonsense. Also Edred Thorsson is a great author. very knowledgeable.
I'd recommend "Northern Mysteries and Magick" by Freya Aswynn which offer a rather different, if not slightly unconventional view on runes.
I was given Nordic Runes: Understanding, Casting, and Interpreting the Ancient Viking Oracle
so I am currently working my way through that - and yes it does seem a good reference book!

Glancing through now, it seems pretty well researched will no obvious warning bells (and a google search doesn't pull up anything bad in connection to the author.) Glad to see you're liking it.
I liked the Complete Illustrated Guide to Runes by Nigel Pennick. I recommend making your own runes.
