Thank you Natalie for inviting me to join the group! I’m looking forward to getting to read and review Christian books. I read other genres as well, but love the Christian genre. Do readers have a limit to read or do we just pick a book we would like to review? And if we do want to review a certain book, how do I go about asking the author could I have a free copy to review? Thank you again Natalie!
Do the books have to be available on Amazon? Mine aren’t. Sorry for any inconvenience.
HI Natalie - You have mentioned that the Star Rating for a book is different on Goodreads than on Amazon, namely that if a Book is reviewed at 3 stars on Goodread, for example, it should be given 4 stars on Amazon.
Perhaps you would consider adding that to the Group Rules because otherwise no one will know to even consider this. I certainly wasn't aware of it when I wrote my reviews and wonder now if I should go back and change the star ratings on Amazon.
So ok, after reading about Natalie making sure we post correctly (and by the way, thanks Natalie for doing an amazing job with all the selections, keeping us informed for our time periods, and just being so organized) it finally hit me that I was not leaving my reviews on the UK side. I checked with the books that I was submitting to the group and only a few reviews were there, I don't think any from this book group as I too noticed my reviews of my assigned books were not there. I presumed it just flipped over, but it didn't.So I apologize if you haven't seen your reviews on the UK side, as I just went through them all and posted them there too! I guess I really not quite understood the differences ... and yes, we all know how important it is to have Amazon promote our books with that "golden" 50 count reviews!
If you noticed that I have NOT posted on the UK side and I have read and reviewed your book from this group, please let me know! (maybe give it a day from this post, as we all know Amazon is not always that fast to process our posts) I also never realized the difference in the stars on Good Reads and Amazon, so in my case I am never too old to learn!
Thanks,
Linda B
Just to say--really good of you to post to the UK Amazon site. But also to say that, sadly, Amazon does NOT promote your books after 50 reviews or anything like that. An urban myth...
Awww....really? I’ve read so much about the golden “50” How do you get your book as suggested reads on book sites? Thanks,
Linda
I just want to say thank you since this is a group that actually do not have to beg people to read or review your book but books are assigned on genre base, or the one you put your books under via genre.Thanks...since the other ones are not working unfortunately but had good intent. Now that Amazon does not allow swap reviews.

Good point. I have seen with a .5 value that on Goodreads either will give it a number below or above (e.g. 2.5 seen 2 stars or 3 stars).
Hi Natalie, thanks for the invite. I have a question regarding the language in my books. While I feel it's mild and I do put content advisory's on all my listed books, I'm concerned I may not be a good fit here.
The words I use sparingly over my series of books are: B***dy, D**n and H*ll. I'll remove myself from this group of those are an issue.

Sarah good question since they've found that in one of my novels which I do just hell with H--cut themselves from saying it. I've seen Christians say that, stop themselves from saying the word. So upset where they almost cuss.
I’m here today to ask everyone for some serious help! There’s this family in Texas going through some seriously sad and frankly, sick circumstances right now and they need our help. It’s about a boy named James whose mom is trying to force him to be a girl! His dad is Christian and fully against it, but he doesn’t have the financial support needed to fight this. If the court rules in his wife’s favor, James’ dad will be forced to pay for the surgery or face jail time while losing his parental rights. For the full story, please see this website: https://savejames.comPlease check out my latest post for more ways you can help: https://trulyinspiredbooks.wordpress.... Please reblog this post, sign the petition, and pray at the very least! Thank you!
Natalie, it's been almost a year and a half since you had a non-fiction group. I would like to suggest you start another. Thanks for your consideration
Hi,I've been subscribed to this group for some time but I haven't participated. So I hope I'm not breaking any rules. I have a new non-fiction book concerning Christian eschatology and Bible interpretation. It is available both as a Kindle and paperback. The Kindle will be a free download from 2-14 through 2-18. Is anybody interested in the Book of Revelation? Is it okay to post a link and request a review?

Hello, I saw this post and I am a fellow serial author. Would you be willing to do 1 for 1 review exchange for each other’s books? I wrote a Christian fiction end times thriller novella book that is close to coming out on Amazon (8k words), I wrote a political theory book that is the basics of liberty (that has a Christian section in the back third of the book (simplistic and fast-paced 16k words), and I have 2 Christian picture books (5-minute reads). So you could read the equivalent of 25k words and get 4 reviews of out me. I will soon be releasing a new Christian picture book and will release a second novella of the Christian fiction end times. (so probably less than 40k words for 6 reviews).

Hello, would you be interested in 1 to 1 exchanged review for your book? I also have a book coming out in April, called the Last Tribe. It is an end-times Christian Thriller (not doom and gloom left behind like but Christians trying to reach the last tribe excitement). It is only 8k words so it's really a novella. It is the first in the series.

Yes, I am the author of one nonfiction, Remade, a preacher find victory over porn and complaint.

Right now, I have a 4-book MG/Children's series called "Light Horse Dark Horse", an "allegorical" retelling of the New Testament... with horses. :) Kind of like Chronicles of Narnia... without humans and other creatures.
Do I submit one book to the "Children's book" link or all books?
