What about Boy, Snow, Bird by Helen Oyeyemi? It's supposed to be good. Have you guys read Caramelo by Sandra Cisneros? It's a good read for a glimpse into Hispanic literature and storytelling.
And one book is totally fine.

I found all of my Sandman books the other night and am really wanting to read those again now.

I've been wanting to read Ursula Le Guin for awhile; I know its not a graphic novel and may not be challenging (never read her before), but I thought maybe I would throw it out there. Maybe Left Hand of Darkness?This is my first post so my ontd name is factorywannabe :)
