((Hey sorry, I forgot I had something I needed to go to!))
Phoenix walked quietly down the park pathway. She had been trailing a particularly rich looking gentleman for almost 20 minutes now, waiting for her best chance to grab his wallet and run. Luckily for her it was quiet easy for her to see the wallet in his back pocket, so it wouldn't be too hard to grab it. Glancing around casually she waited to make sure that no one was watching her carefully. The only other people in the park at the moment was a little girl and her dad, and another girl who looked like she could be around Phoenix's age. Sauntering up a little bit closer to the man, she took a deep breath and plucked his wallet from his pocket, before quickly walking passed him so she didn't look suspicious.

((👌🏾))
Fox was having... an abnormal day. All he wanted was to get out have some food, read. But apparently, he was side tracked by not one but two younger kids outside The Stellar. Phoenix and Q, both decided it'd be a good idea to go to a police infected park today for some reason, where they were in broad daylight. Perfect. Sitting on a nearby bench Fox decided to watch them from afar make sure nobody could see them pick pocketing or 'borrowing' money from someone.

((How old is Fox?))
Phoenix walked around a bit before shoving her hands into her pockets and walking over to the girl who had been sitting on the bench. She had seen her around The Stellar a few times, but had never gotten the chance to talk to her.
"Nice haul you got there." She nodded towards the assortment of stuff in the girl's hand.
"Q right? " She raised an eyebrow, and in the process caught sight of a familiar figure sitting on a park bench a little bit away from them.
"Hey!" She waved cheerfully at Fox.

"God damn it." He mumbled under his breath as he stood up and walked over to Q and Pheonix. "What the hell are you both doing here, while a town party is being hosted, with multiple police officers here no less?" Only Fox could be livid and look like he just came out of the calmest room in the world. His expression was emotionless, with one quirked eyebrow at both girls waiting for an answer. He didn't have to look out for them, but this was Fox trying to be a good person. Cut some slack.
"Such a warm welcome from Fox. It's nice to see you too." Phoenix replied irrtably. She didn't get why he was always in a bad mood. Slipping the wallet into her pocket she smirked. "It doesn't matter anyways. I didn't get caught." She said matter a factly. There were a few police around, but none of them seemed too interested in what was happening around them. It was a nice day so they were more interested in the sun and their coffee
"Oh, my god." Pointing to the sign on the nearby tree, it suddenly became a bit clearer to see all the other posters. Pointing towards the date Nov.28.XXXX, that was today. "You know what, why did I even bother. You're both too stubborn to listen to me anyways." Sure enough more people started to fill in but, Fox wasn't going to take this sh*t. "I got stuff to do." Grabbing his book, he marched back over to his seat and layed down.
Phoenix watched Fox leave and rolled her eyes.
"Sorry about him. He's not always like that.... never mind, yeah he is." She chuckled and grinned. The Stellar was such an interesting place, you got to meet all types of people, introverts, extroverts, psychos, everything. She did have to admit though, the number of people in the park was worrying. Especially since Q was holding a bunch of wallets.
"You should probably... uh, put those away." She gestured to the wallets.

"Me too." Cricket shrugged. "I prefer to let it happen on accident, You know?" He sat nearby and pulled a blade of grass. He rolled it between his fingers, engrossed in thought.
"Heh! One day I hope my thoughts are worth more than that!" He laughed. "Ive just been thinking that all of this..." He gestured vaguely. "It's cool. It was fun for a bit. But why does no one have a job? Everyone acts like this is a badge of honor. I'm eighteen now. I really should think about my life beyond The Stellar." He hoped he want bumming her out.
"I can't imagine anyone wouldn't feel the same, but you have my word. What are you learning? Just the basic classroom stuff, or a trade?"
Narylfiel (previously Lydia) wrote: ""I can get by with an Associates degree. I'll go somewhere cheap, earning a few scholarships along the way." Briden laughed. "You must think me crazy to have such dreams." To be honest she didn't w...""No, I don't." Cricket replied honestly. "I kind of had the same idea. Not sure what I want to study though. Maybe biology?"
((Ev))
Phoenix smirked and glanced back at the other people in the park before looking back at Q.
"I will actually. Thank you." She smiled and stood up, casually slipping the wallet she had just stolen from that man into her pocket. Fox had been right that there were a few police milling around the park now and she didn't want to take any chances.
"How long have you been at The Stellar?" She asked, tilting her head slightly.

She whistled T over."As the dog ran over, Cricket held out a hand for her to sniff before petting her. "Yeah. I hope so. Would stick to end up as a zookeeper, though to be honest, I would do the job with a smile on my face, if only because I'd get to work with animals."

Phoenix shrugged.
"Dunno. A long time." She said, grinning. Taking a few quick steps she fell into step with Q. She watched with a raised eyebrow when Quinn smiled at the officer.
"Aren't you the cutie." She snickered quietly and grinned.

Phoenix rolled her eyes and grinned.
"Yeah, well you look innocent. It's not as easy for the rest of us." She said easily. It was true though, Q looked cute. Anyone would think she was too adorable to do anything bad, let alone steal something. For other kids though, the second a police saw them, they were on edge for something bad to happen.

"Yeah. Nothing more interesting than being a good kid." Phoenix said, drenching her voice in sarcasm. If you were good all the time, life must begin to get boring. She grinned and glanced at Quinn again.
Phoenix grinned and looked at Q with a wry look on her face.
"Oh, trust me, I know you're not a good kid." Phoenix tended to avoid the drama in The Stellar. There were bound to be fights and arguments all the time since so many people were living together in close quarters, but Phoenix tried to avoid them as much as possible. That was also really hard since she had a rather explosive temper. That was why she spent so much time outside of the Stellar. But she did know that Q was at the center of all the relationship drama, as was definitely not a good kid.

"Oh i'm sorry, did I hurt your feelings?" Phoenix said in a sickly sweet voice before grinning. She liked this girl, she was bold.
"Oh, it's nothing really. Just that you caught the attention of the baddest boy in The Stellar, played around with him and then walked away to date someone else. You also have a very well known reputation for your skills, although i'm yet to see those in action." Phoenix raised an eyebrow at Q and smiled brightly.

"Nah, he's pretty bad." Phoenix said after a moment, grinning. She didn't really grace too many of the boys of The Stellar with her presence, since she thought that they were more trouble than they were worth. The only boy she ever really talked to was Fox, and he wasn't exactly the most interesting person to be around. He seemed to always be moody and annoyed.
"Plus, you were the one who stabbed that girl right? Or did she stab you?" News got around fast at the Stellar, but sometimes the facts got a little fuzzy.

Phoenix frowned as she tried to recall the girls name.
"Ashley? Oh, Ashton. Something like that." She said after a moment, glancing at Q to make sure she was right. From what she had heard, that had been an impressive fight.

Phoenix watched her reaction with a smirk. There was obviously a whole lot going on between those two right now.
"Oh no reason. That was just pretty badass, although she won didn't she?" Phoenix asked, frowning. Again, rumors that went around The Stellar were not exactly the most reliable. She glanced at Q, hoping that she would get annoyed that she was bringing it up.

Phoenix shrugged slightly.
"I would say that, but I prefer not to get into fights with Stellar kids." She shrugged again. Having friends at the Stellar was important for survival, so she tried not to get too many kids annoyed at her. That tended not to work, but she had a few friends. That meant in hard times, she might be able to bargain for food or blankets. If people hated her, there was a much smaller chance she would be able to get supplies.

Q's look wasn't lost on Phoenix and she copied her raised eyebrow.
"What's that look supposed to mean?" She asked curiously. She could tell that Q disagreed with some part of what she had said, but she wasn't sure what part. She wasn't sure if Q would tell her anyways, as she was pretty secretive, but it was worth the shot.
((Sorry it's so short.))

"I would in fact like to know!" Phoenix replied haughtily before grinning easily at Q. She chucked and rolled her eyes.
"I can't have a conversation with you if I don't know what you're talking about." She replied reasonably. Shrugging slightly, Phoenix glanced at a few of the stores they were walking passed.
"None of us go looking for fights. We just end up with a black eye and a split lip somehow." She added humorously.
"Want to get something to eat?"

Phoenix took in Q's expression before giving her a lopsided grin.
"That doesn't mean i'm paying for you." She warned her. There was a hot dog stand that was always set up on the west entrance to the park. The old guy who ran it was pretty much always half asleep so stealing from it wasn't going to be a problem.
"But, I mean. We don't have to pay anyways." She grinned and stopped a few meters away from the little red and yellow hot dog stand. As she had predicted, the man running it was fast asleep with a magazine on his chest.
"Not exactly gourmet, but close enough." She joked, grinning at Q.

"Well, I might just have to punch you in the face if you were complaining." Phoenix joked, grinning. Despite the fact that food was pretty scarce some of the Stellar kids were picky about what they ate. That annoyed her more than anything because they turned their noses up at precious food. Gesturing for Q to be quiet she surveyed the stand critically for another moment before approaching it quietly. She was more nervous about other people passing by seeing than the man waking up. But when she didn't see anyone watching she approached the stand and crept through the back. After snatching a few things and some soda she crept back out to Q, smiling. The smell of warm hotdogs filled her nose and she took a bite, grinning.
"Mhm. I haven't had warm food in so long." She said with a sigh.

Phoenix ignored Q's question as they walked. She wasn't being rude or anything, she simply wanted to pay her full attention to the food before her. After shoving about half of it into her mouth she forced herself to slow down. She hadn't eaten anything so rich in a while and it would be a shame if she just threw it all back up. After she slowed down she gave Q an amused look.
"What's my deal?" She asked skeptically. That could mean many things. Some of those things, she would be willing to answer, while some of them she would not.

"My deal..." Phoenix spent a few more minutes pondering that question. She wasn't sure just what Q wanted to know, or how much she was actually willing to tell her.
"I live at the Stellar. I sort of hate it. There are too many kids. I've lived there for... four years?" She frowned slightly. It had felt like forever since she had begun her life at the Stellar. She couldn't quite remember exactly when she had found it. Raising an eyebrow she took another bite of her food.
"Did I get the question right?" She said wryly.

((Ahh, sorry!))
Phoenix was beginning to get a bit annoyed at the girl's vague nature. She felt like she was sharing a lot of her own information and not getting anything in return. Information was currency in The Stellar. Phoenix was smart enough not to give it all away without something in return. The one problem was, was that Q had a reputation among the kids and she seemed like a better ally than enemy, so Phoenix decided to tread a little more gently in this conversation than she usually would.
"Enough about me though, how about you answer this question." Phoenix smiled pleasantly enough, but her eyes were serious and curious.
