Yoga Folks discussion

Hi,

I'm rather a controversial figure, having been outed as Bikram Choudhury's Bhaktin, just before he was falsely accused of rape and, after, his having been made a spectacle of, for years. He's actually, a target, by India simply because he's severely disabled. In fact, in India, he would not be able to tell anyone what his issues are for fear of great embarrassment. Interestingly, he would rather have to go through the horrible treatment we have witnessed then to allow people to know what is plaguing him.

I know him much better than most, though I've had little physical contact with him. He tells me about himself through photos. He's quite a well developed and intelligent man, in his own right. If you ask him about yoga, he he's an excellent teacher.

About myself? I'm a school teacher who happened to get into a mix up with the same creatures who attacked Bikram... and many other hapless yoga instructors. Only, I kept my boundaries and simply witnessed, with horror, what they were about. Now, I'm alive and struggling to get my life back in gear... but that's the way it goes, isn't it? I'm glad to be part of your group.

Our group has been quiet for a while. I plan to start more group reads after the new year. Hope you’ll participate!
