Trevor had been lucky enough to be hired to do nightly gigs in the coffee shop. Not every orphan was able to get a job, but his talents allowed him to have more opportunities. The owner had allowed him to use any instrument her could find or bring. His guitar and the ukulele that stayed in the shop was the source of his successful performances. The owner had left early and had told him to lock up when he left. Right now he was cleaning the tables.

Pushing the chairs into the proper spots he also wiped those down, since many had crumbs or food on them. He did here the back door close, and looked that way, setting down his rag but keeping the squirt bottle with him. He crept towards the backdoor, it had been picked. Locking the door from the inside he walked towards the counter. "Whoever you are, come out. I know you're back there." He called voice, keeping a strong tone. He held his squirt bottle at ready.

Silently, Rain crawled from behind t..."Trevor walked behind the counter, reaching down to flip the light switch and turn on the lights. With the lights on now it would hopefully reveal some hiding spots. Carefully inching thorugh the shop he turned over and moved some things out of the way to look for the intruder. "Come out now! I know you're here." Trevor called once more. Seeing a phone on the counter he grabbed it. "Don't make me call the cops." It would lead to both of the being caught, and would wreck his job but at least he would protect the shop.
"Not yet." His eyes were full of disspointment. "Rain why?" He asked watching her move towards the cash register. He put the bottle down but pocketed the portable phone, just in case. Once she was at the cash register he knew that she would need a code to open it, so he waited. It couldn't be picked, so it would be an issue. "So, care to explain why you're here, other than stealing my employer's cash and food?"
“Because I️ am disappointed.” Trevor said crossing his arms and leaned against the counter. “I️ work here, so frankly I do have an issue with you breaking in here.” He raised a eyebrow in question. How would she respond to that?
"I just play my guitar for tips and a small pay from the owner." Trevor shrugged looking at her. He was growing up, things were changing. "Also today happened to be the day he let me close." He shrugged jumping forward to catch her arm. "Wait! At least let me offer you a meal." Trevor said gesturing around at the cabniets. He was allowed a free meal once a week, he hadn't taken it yet.
After she said sure he went about pulling foor from the cabinets, placing them together on a plate. "Here you go, it's cold, but I'm not about to risk firing up the oven or fryer, and it doesn't have a microwave." Trevor said grimacing. He slid the plate of a bagel, and a muffin.
Johnny sat in the corner of the coffee shop, headphones over his ears, playing music from an old walkman he somehow managed to get batteries for. A large, black coffee sat in front of him as he watched a girl enter, his hands keeping warm around the steaming white mug. He usually played for tips down at the local bar, lying about his age to get in. Despite being 17, his music taste ranged from '60s-'90s rock, the beat could be heard from his headphones being turned up
Johnny’s lips pressed into the white ceramic mug, leaving the dark brown heaven to sink into his senses. Johnny loved coffee. The boy wore a sweater, skinny jeans, and large leather boots, a few large rings on his fingers.
He eyed the girl softly, then back to his cuo
Johnny pursed his lips, his brows furrowed as his ears filled in the sound of music. He recognized the girl who had just left, and she was pretty. As he finished his coffee, he stepped outside for a cigarette. He leaned on the outer wall of the coffee shop, his lips closing around the nicotine stick, nodding his head ever so slightly to the beat.
He nodded a 'hello' to a passerby as he looked down at her dog. Dogs were Johnny's weakness. He gave a bit of a smirk and a chuckle as he pulled the cigarette from his lips.
Johnny looked up, his eyes meeting the girl's. "Hey." He said as he took a drag of his cigarette, pulling his headset around his neck. "Nice dog."
Johnny smiled down at the dog, letting out a breath of smoke. "She's cute." The dog reminded him of the dog his grandparents had- Lacey. Pulling his sleeves down as he stepped on the cigarette, he looked back at her
“Oh...um. Im Johnny...” He smiled a bit at her, tossing his cigarette aside and stepping on it. “And darling, who are you?”
“Darling it is then,” he teased a bit, pulling his sleeves a bit. Johnny pursed his lips, looking her over subtly. “What’s good around here? I’m kinda new, yanno”((im on mobile change his spoken name to Kurt. i’m retarded and had to remind myself that they’re on the run ahah))
He chuckled softly. “I look strong to you, darling?” Johnny laughed and shook his head. “Trust me, my grandmother had more strength than me. What’s just...casual. Book shops, clubs, stuff like that. ((mmhm)
((OMG IM SO SORRY I FEEL TERRIBLE JM SORRY)) “Have I seen you before?” he asked, tossing his cigarette off into the sidewalk. Johnny blinked, pursing his lips at her
"I'm kinda new 'round here." He said absently, looking the opposite way down the street. Johnny shoved his hands in his pockets. "Wanna take a walk or something?';
He chuckled. “Yeah I suppose so” Johnny waited for the girl, walking beside her then. He noticed how tiny she was, atlas everyone was tiny to him.
“Not much of a talker?” he looked down at her, chuckling softly as he pulled a cigarette to his lips. Johnny chuckled at her height as well
((6’1”)) Johnny chuckled as he took a drag off his cigarette. “Nah, you’re talkin’ my ears off, love” Johnny gave everyone pet names (love, dear, darling, honey). It was just what he did-he was a flirt
“Mmhm” he nodded. “Talk a bit. It won’t kill you” Johnny teased a bit, talking a drag off of his cigarette
"Okay, okay. First of all...I'm not that annoying." He said, not taking too much offence. "And, besides, love. You looked lonely. I'm not some fuckin' axe murderer or anything." Johnny chuckled lightheartedly.
((IM SO BAD IM SORRY)) Johnny laughed softly, taking a drag off his cigarette. “True...honestly though, I couldn’t hurt anyone.,,i don’t think” Johnny’s attempts at making conversation were shot down- leaving him to just keep trying. “What’s your favorite movie?”
//No, not at all. Thank you. I've been off the walls with school and sport//Johnny's masculine hand ran over the dog's soft coat, shrugging. "I like stuff with Johnny Depp or Brad Pitt...dystopian stuff, Star Wars..." He thought a bit, his hand petting the dog and deciding his answer was honest.
"Yeah...I used to live in Toronto in Canada and right down the street was a beautiful dance hall and they would show plays and movies." He smiled as he remembered all his time back with his Grandparents, learning to dance and play music, getting into classics and new-era fictions.
“It’s beautiful. I’d recommend going if you got the chance.” Johnny smiled when she asked, nodding. “Yeah...like the old dances from the late 1910s. I was forced into it at first but it was really fun. How about you? You do anything?@
“Who do I have to tell, pretty” he chuckled, looking down T her. “You can take it easy, love. Not everyone’s an asshole” Johnny took a drag from his cigarette, biting how tense she was
He chuckled. “Darling, why is that so bad? I sing a lot, that should be more embarrassing for me than you.” Johnny chuckled and pat her dogs head.
((Can we keep their relationship to like a best friend kinda thing? i have. apost with Ev and we were wondering if you could do a couple posts with us?))
“I hear the bars downtown make serious cash tips, yeah? You ever go down there?” He chuckled softly, shaking his head. “I’m thinking about going down myself. Besides, it’s not a weakness. It’s a talent.”
“Maybe. I’m guessing so” He shrugged. “I’m no waitress though” Johnny chuckled softly, taking a drag beside tossing the cigarette away. “You like music, yeah?”
"How can you enjoy singing and not music, darling." Johnny shook his head with a smile. "That doesn't make much sense, now does it?"
“It’s not nosy, honey.” he laughed. “I’m just making conversation, asking about things I know about.” Johnny looked down at her dog with a smile.
“Yeah, I like to talk sometimes...besides you had a dog. I love dogs” Johnny admitted. “It’s nice to talk to people sometimes, being alone isn’t for me I guess.” Johnny could talk all day and then just get tired and have enough easily and stop. But he loved talking to people, especially older, knowledgeable peiple
“Fuck. How did you know?” He laughed. Johnny was pretty charismatic and knew how to make people laugh. “Hey, talking gets ya places, trust me. We can’t all be pretty, magical boys without a little fun” he gave a laugh
"Oh yes, just like me." he laughed. "Finally someone noticed!" Johnny enjoyed talking and laughing with people, despite always being on the run.
"Hey, hey, hey. Villians are pretty too...and I am very magical. Like I'm Superman 2.0. Pretty, magical..just without the girl." He smiled, giving her a chuckle.
His smile faded into mock disappointment. “Excuse me” he said, pulling his words sassily. “I look great in tights, thank. you. very. much. Besides, who said Im annoying because it definitely wasn’t me...or you.”
“Makes my ass look nice and my-...hey hey hey. I’m not annoying just....eccentric” Johnny glances at the dog when she barked and furrowed a brow.
“Hey, everyone thought Kurt Cobain was annoying, look how filthy rich he became before he died.” he said in defense. “See, eccentric.”
“He lived under a bridge, darling. That proves he did something with his talent and ability! Joining a band would be awesome. Traveling, meeting people every day, having real money” Johnny was passionate about music, obviously. He cocked an eyebrow at the face she made. “He was a genuine person, and a genius”
“Are you hearing yourself?” he smirked. “You’re agreeing with meeeee” Johnny chuckled triumphantly. “You love to sing as well, and traveling is amazing. Imagine, seeing the world, meeting people- were gonna have to work on your people skills”
“Yes yoy did” he chuckled and shook his head. “You’re, like, miserable, kiddo.” Johnny shrugged, looking at her.
It was Johnny’s turn to roll his eyes. “Yeah Yeah, okau. Sure.” He scoffed. “No, I started talking to you because you had a dog. Then, I realized you were miserable.” Shaking his head he began to chuckle. “All you girls are so stubborn, my God”
“Use that pride for some self esteem, huh pretty?” He cocked an eyebrow. “As I said, can’t be a pretty, magical boy without some self esteem.”
“Yeah” He repeated. “Perfectly fine, eh?” Johnny shook his head. “You’re young yet, you’ll be okay, kid.” He didn’t wanna sound like a preacher or anything.
