I started the book, just read through chapter 1.

(view spoiler)[ I loved the beginning of the prologue that talked about the course of history being decided by the actions of individuals. I assume that this book will be about one sub individual whose choices greatly affect the future of that world.

Chapter 1 pulled me right into the story wondering what kind of academy Amara attends, what these powers are that some people apparently have, and what’s going to happen to her now since she fell unconscious at the end of the chapter. (hide spoiler)]

A great start to this book! I’m looking forward to continuing reading.

Sorry to leave you hanging! I’m through the first chapter as well and about to start 2. I was thrown by the water fury attack! Very excited to see what’s next for them.

No prob. I’ll get back to reading this too. I am curious to see what all the different furies are and what they can do.
