I'm not sure on this one. My mom reads a ton, but I'm usually passing to her instead of the other way around. But I'll check with her. My father-in-law is a librarian and has recommended the Longmire series to me for years. I read the first one this year, so I might continue the series for this category.

Tried a James Patterson book “Private #1 Suspect”. My MIL reads them. Not my cup of tea but interesting characters.
