Book # 1
by Luz Mugavero Leaving the corporate world behind, Kristan “Stan” Connor
buys a Victorian house in a quiet, small town of Frog Ledge,
Connecticut. Stan and her Maine Coon cat, Nutty are about
to embrace a totally new style of living.
Stan makes organic treats for Nutty which will soon
become popular with the other dogs and cats involved in
the story. Besides meeting fun loving fur babies, the readers
are introduced to an array of artfully created, vivid, colorful
characters even some quirky plus a few resentful characters
that make up Stan’s new neighborhood.
The town, Carole Morganwick, vet does not agree with Stan’s
organic treats. Carole delivers the old school animal care.
Carole stops by Stan’s house to insist she bring Nutty in to
her practice for an exam. When Stan and Nutty arrive.....
they discover the vet dead in the veterinarian office with a
needle sticking from her neck!!! Now Stan finds herself a
suspect for the murder. How will she prove her innocence??
A well plotted, fast moving cozy mystery read.
There are delicious pet recipes included at the end of the book.
This is book # 1 in the Pawsitively Organic Mystery series.

Book # 2Witches, Recipes, and Murder (Sweetland Witch)

The Sweetland Witch Series finds Ava Fortune mixing
portions plus getting involved in solving a murder.
This adventure is the murder of a bar owner who
has something valuable that someone seems to
want but no one admits to knowledge of what this
could be.
This is a well plotted story filled with mystery, magic,
suspense, drama and danger from a hexed dagger.
The characters are colorful, zany and creatively
described even the three fur babies: Snowy the cat
(Ava's familiar), Tootsie the cat (Trixie's familiar)
and Rocky the wolfhound (Eleanor's familiar) add to
the well written story.
Although the book is part of the Sweetland Witch
Cozy Series, it can be read as a stand alone.

Book # 3
by Cindy BellMeet Peaches, the cat and Arnold, the portly
pot belly Pig when Ally returns to visit her
grandmother.
Ally’s Mee Maw lives in Blue River and runs a
handmade gourmet chocolate and coffee shop.
After Ally’s divorce she and Peaches go home to
visit but Mee Maw want Ally to move back and
take over the making and running the chocolate
and coffee shop.
The first thing Ally makes is a batch of Triple
Chocolate Muffins. The recipe is included at the
end of the book.
But tragedy strikes when the chocolate shops
delivery driver is found shot dead. Thanks to
Peaches escaping the house Ally overhears the
two detectives talking near the scene of the crime.
She feels they are railroading the owner of the an
auto shop whose families had a long running feud.
Ally follows a lead, she discovers on the delivery
drivers GPS when she does a delivery for Mee Maw.
Who should she trust? One detective is new and
while easy on the eyes, he is not use to small town
situations. The other detective on the case is a
person Ally grew up with plus had a crush on him.
But who should she trust with what she has uncovered
with her own investigation?
A chocolate delicious mystery and murder investigation.
Lots of mouthwatering goodies mix with drama, suspense,
danger with the help of Peaches.
A good read.
Book #4

Maddie Goodwell, a witch, lives with her familiar,
a Persian cat named Trixie. Maddie and her best
friend, Suzanne Taylor run their specialty coffee
truck called Brewed from the Bean. They have
recently added catering to their business
endeavors.
They are catering their second job which is at a
retreat for positive energy where they will serving
vegan meals prepared with organic produce and
organic French roast coffee.
All seems to be going well except for the retreat
leader getting mysterious cell phone calls. It was
instructed that all cell phone be turned off to keep
away negativity.
So why did she have her phone on?
Then there is a murder, a huge storm that leaves
the retreat without electricity and a large tree falls
blocking the entrance driveway plus phone service
does dead.
This is a investigating job for Maddie, Suzanne
and Trixie. Meanwhile, Trixie leads cat style yoga.
It is also time for Maddie to consult the ancient
book, Wytchcraft for the Chosen. Will she find a
spell to help them with finding the murder??
What a fun read!!!
Creative, colorful, vivid, interesting characters
involved in drama, danger, suspense, mystic
happenings add to the plot making for a fast
paced adventure.
This is book # 5 in the Maddie Goodwell Cozy Coffee
Witch Mystery series. It can be read as a stand alone.
It is the first one of the series that I have read. The
author combined the past and present effortlessly.
I volunteered to read Familiars and French Roast.

Book # 5
by Zoe Arden The Sweetland Witch Mystery series has given
the reader a variety of magical creatures: witches,
vampires, fairies, trolls, hexes, magic and now
new experimental creatures are out there.
Damon Tellinger gets a job at a warehouse. He is
to patrol the warehouse except for the basement.
All is well until he hears a noise in down there.
What he sees shocks him, plus he gets fired for
going down there!!! Then attempts on his life start
to happen. So he goes to the one person he knows
he can trust, his ex-girlfriend Ava Fortune.
In addition to Damon’s problem, the Island is having
a missing person problem. Are the two connected?
Ava is planning her wedding with her Aunt’s help.
A unique, freshly plotted, riveting storyline with a
cast of cleverly creative, well defined characters.
Mystery, danger, suspense, humor plus romance
add to the fast paced adventures.
Ava’s father get a familiar, Snake the squirrel.
Add Snowy the cat (Ava's familiar), Tootsie the cat
(Trixie's familiar) and Rocky the wolfhound
( Eleanor's familiar), plus the mayors fur baby, Tadpole
enhance the story.
An enjoyable, good read!!!
Book # 6

Sydney McCall has returned to Deer Park, North
Carolina. Sydney plus her tabby cat, Toby whose
antics with Melvin the Marvelous Mouse will make
you chuckle, are helping her sister Kat at the
Friendly Paws Animal Shelter.
They are gearing up for a cat adoption and a book
signing at Tara’s bookshop. The Friendly Paws will
receive a percentage of the book sales plus take
applications for some of their fur babies to find their
forever homes.
The book takes off quickly providing the reader with
a myriad of cats described so vividly you can see and
hear them. The story keeps up an invigorating pace
right up to its dramatic conclusion.
The original author has to back out of the signing so
in his place, a former Deer Park resident who is now
a shopping channel star and has written a tell all book
will be there. This person, Ulla Townsend was a cruel
person in high school pulling many pranks that ended
badly on her classmates. In her professional life, Ulla
has not changed. She is not very well liked by her crew.
What a surprise when Ulla has a attack with the end
result of death!!! Seems she had an allergic reaction.
but what caused this reaction??
The characters were all well defined, creative, vivid
and complex involving the reader in the story by the
fluid description used.
There is plenty of mystery, suspense, drama, twists
and turns plus intrigue to keep the reader on their toes.
Snyder gets involved with the investigation even after
she is warned not to interfere by a new arrogant
detective plus she also receives two mysterious notes
to stop investigating.
A well written cat friendly cozy mystery.

Book # 7
The Cats Came Backby Sofie Kelly
Kathleen Paulson is the head librarian for the
Mayville Heights Free Public Library in Minnesota.
She is the owner of two special cats, Hercules
and Owen. These cats aide Kathleen with murder
investigations.
Both cats were feral cats. They followed Kathleen
home.
Hercules can walk through walls and helps Kathleen
find certain websites on her laptop.
Owen can become invisible whenever he wants
with a habit of finding and taking things he can
carry away in his mouth.
The annual festival in about to take. The town is a
buzzed with a lot of non-locals.
While down by the harbor taking pictures for a cat
calendar, Hercules gets restless. Then Kathleen, her
cats and the photographer find a dead body.
Who is dead? Was it a robbery gone wrong, an
accident or foul play?
The story drew me in immediately. It takes off very
quickly keeping an invigorating pace right up to the
end. A very well plotted adventure with interesting
sub plots and several twists and turns.
The characters are complex, colorful, well defined
and ones you would like to meet. The cats were a
great addition to the story!!
A magical, entertaining read!!

Book # 8The Bakery Murder
byZoe ArdenSadie’s old boyfriend has come to town to meet
Eli Fortune. The old boyfriend works for a
pharmaceutical company. He has a secret formula
to sell while on the Island, unknown to Sadie.
The head nurse of the hospital resigns asking Dr.
Dunne ) to replace her with Sadie. What’s going on
with her?
Then Ava and her Aunt find Sadie and her old
boyfriend lying in the park. Sadie is in bad condition
but will survive but her friend is dead....
When Ava”s father gets arrested, Ava decides to
investigate.
Combining a variety of issues into a complexly,
plot make this a well developed, dangerous,
suspenseful story.
The characters make an artfully and cleverly crafted
plus well defined, scary and interesting cast.
The interaction of the three fur babies: Snowy
the cat (Ava's familiar), Tootsie the cat (Trixie's familiar)
and Rocky the wolfhound (Eleanor's familiar) add to
the flavor of the story.
Be prepared for a Surprise Ending!!

Book # 9Yeast of Eden
by Sarah FoxMarley McKinney lives in the seaside town of
Wildwood Cove on the Olympic Peninsula.
Marley owns and operates the Flip Side restaurant
With her chef, Ivan. The Flip Side specializes in
breakfast.
Marley lives nearby in a house on the beach
with Flapjack, the cat.
You will meet also met Bentley and Angel, the dogs.
You will get delicious recipes and mouthwatering
descriptions of foods while helping Marley
investigate two murders and a family mystery
where two women went missing years ago.
A very well written and plotted adventure to keep
the reader glued to the book. Plenty of twists and
turns and clues scattered throughout the story.
Colorful, vivid, quirky and well defined characters
provide an array of suspects.
This is book # 4 in the Pancake House Mystery
series. It can be read as a stand. The author
gives the reader the past and present effortlessly.

Book # 10Butter Witch
by Tess LakeButter Witch is a book about a family of witches.
Harlow Torrent is a Slip Witch and the only online
journalist in town. A Slipwitch means that her
powers as a witch always change.
The International Butter Festival which structures
are created in butter instead of ice. All the top
sculptors are in town for the contest.
Harlow goes to the warehouse where the butter is
stored. She finds one is the sculptors dead, frozen
and drained of blood by magic.
What is happening? Will anyone else be killed? How
will Harlow and her family save the town?
An enjoyable read with an unusual plot with plenty
of colorful, zany characters and a feisty amateur
sleuth in Harlow plus Adams, Harlow’s cat who will
entertain throughout the story.

Book # 11Flipped for Murder
by Maddie DayRoberta ( Robbie ) Jordan has moved to the
rolling hills of southern Indiana to the town of
South Lick. She finds rundown country store.
She buys, fixes it up and open a country store
and restaurant. She calls her investment
Pans ‘N Pancakes. Robbie is a hard worker
with a great work ethic.
The mayor’s disagreeable assistant is found
dead with one of Robbie’s signature biscuits in
her mouth and Robbie’s pen at the murder
scene. Who would want to frame her for this
woman’s murder?
A very well plotted murder mystery with another
personal mystery written into the story as who
is Robbie’s real father?
A intriguing and interesting array of characters
make up the cast. All are well defined, colorful
and provide an enjoyable read. Even Robbie’s
fur baby, Birdy ( the black & white cat) add to
the book.
This is book # 1 in the Country Store Mystery
series.
An enjoyable read!!
Book # 12Assaulted Caramel
by Amanda FlowerBailey King, assistant chocolatier for the world famous JP Chocolates In New York is up for a Hugh promotion. Bailey gets a call from Harvest, Ohio that her grandfather’s heart condition has taken a turn for the worst. She rush to The Amish village of Harvest in Holmes County, Ohio. Her grandparents( Daadi and Maami ) are Amish while her father gave up the Amish way of life to marry her non-Amish mother. Bailey was raised as an Englischer. Arriving at Swissmen Sweets, Bailey finds her Saadi & an Englischer developer arguing. Her grandfather collapses. The next morning Bailey discovers the Englischer developer dead in the Sweet Shop kitchen. He has been stabbed with a knife that Bailey used the day before to cut fudge in his chest. So now she is the prime suspect for murder. She decides to investigate to prove her grandparents and her innocence. A well written and cleverly plotted murder mystery with lots of yummy chocolate candies throughout the story. A diverse, vibrant cast of characters liven up the story with the help of Nutmeg, the cat and Jethro, the black and white polka-dotted potbellied pig. A good, delicious, entertaining read.

An unusual plot with loads of twists and turns.
Zany, colorful, vividly created cast of characters
with Adams, Harlow’s cat adding zing to the
story.
This is book # 2 in the Torrent Witches Mysteries
series. I can be easily read as a stand alone.
Good entertaining mystery.
Book # 14The Mewltide Mugger
by Alannah RogersChristmas is in the air. We are going to go
join Beatrice Young who runs the Cozy Cats
Cafe and is an amateur elder sleuth on an
adventure.
Her cats: Hamish, Maine Coon..Petunia,
the Himalayan..Lucky, the black cat and
Simon, the young orange tabby always
participate in her adventures.
Someone is robbing people after they purchase
high priced items so Beatrice, the cats and
the Sheriff are on the trail.
Matthew has a surprise for Beatrice but he was
mugged of the gift. So Matthew gets involved in
capturing the thief.
Love all the cats and their different traits.
This is book # 12 in the Beatrice Young Cat
Mysteries series. It can be read as a stand.

Book # 15Cat's Cradle: A Crazy Cat Lady short story

me to Lynley Cannon better known as the Crazy Cat
Lady. She has five cats of her own.
Lynley is an advocate for cat care. She volunteers at
the Spay and Neuter Center, a cat shelter, gives cat
care advice and fosters sick cat.
On her ay home from a day touring Portland’s Eastbank
Esplanade, Lynley hears a kitten crying in distress. She
follows the sound down to the dock to a large warehouse.
She doesn’t think twice about entering to find the
distressed kitten. The kitten is inside a duffle bag which
has a stuck zipper. Shots ring out and she is being chased
by a hooded hombre. What has she gotten herself into by
trying to rescue the kitten.
An explosive, action packed short story an interesting cast
of characters.
Looking forward to reading all the books in the Crazy Cat
Lady Cozy Mysteries series!!!

Octavius Maxwell Ricardo Edmund Frederick Fulton,
the cat was at the law office for a will reading of
his latest owner when Angie’s accident happened.
Angie woke up and the cat told her that his human
had been murdered. He wanted Angie to find the
murderer. So her experience as a pet whisperer
PI begins.
An intriguing, interesting, suspenseful adventure
with a cat full of himself. The cast of characters
was colorful, quirky, adventurous and well created.
The reader will be taken on an adventure as
Angie lead by the cat, nicknamed Octo-cat get
involved in the shenanigans that will uncover the
culprit.
An enjoyable read with an unusual cat taking the
lead with the new Blueberry Bay’s pet whisperer
PI.
