Construction of a building is taking place here. Although students are not allowed here....Do you really think that will stop them from coming here when no one is looking?

"What are you doing here Miss....." Miss Moonlight asked. "You aren't supposed to be here."

"Just looking around?" she said smiling.

"Ok. I'll stay with you so, you don't get hurt. I'm Miss. Moonlight. I will be teaching Mathematical Magic. What is your powers?"

"Shape- shifter... Never met one.. This will be very interesting year. You will be learning about your powers and so will the teachers. "

"Here? This isn't a very safe place to be making friends. "

"But, it isn't a safe place to make friends. So, your power. What can you shape shift into? And, how old are you?"

"So young yet you can control your powers. Strange. Does your physical body change if you get too emotional?"

"Ok. So, you are like most of the students. That is ok. We will teach you to control it. "

"Felipe, Rose, Kaoru, Haruhi, Kimiko, Caitlyn, Zander. Basically everyone at the school. " Miss Moonlight said.

"That is ok. You will get to meet them when classes start. "

Zorn Merrill walks down to the Construction Site, defying a boy, Blake, who told him there are clowns and whatnot here. Zorn didn't believe him, so he takes a 'stroll' down there.

Miku was also walking, but only because she wanted to explore the area. She kicked a rock as she walked, starting to get tired of the place. "Boring," she muttered to herself under her breath.

Zorn hears someone, and he walks around, looking for them. For a moment he thinks that Blake was right, that weird people roam here. Then he sees a girl, and he changes his mind.
"You're not a weird person, so Blake was wrong."
He realises he said that aloud, and he mentally facepalms.

((when I typed 'Blake,' it autocorrected it to 'Balls.'))

Miku turned around. "EH? WHO'S THERE!?" She held her hands up to wave off any attackers. "Who are you?" she demanded, seeing Zorn.

Zorn raises his hands in a 'surrender' motion.
"It's just your typical boy taking a stroll through a very dangerous Construction Site that is off-limits. And you are?"

"Miku," she said uneasily, searching him for any possible weapons with her eyes. "I came here to explore. What's your name?"

Zorn rolls his eyes just a bit, but throughout all this, he has had no hint of smile or happiness. just sorrow, dark, and death.

"Zorn."
He can tell she is searching him for weapons, so he goes in a circle, revealing nothing.
"I would lift up my shirt to prove there is nothing there but my bare chest, but I'd rather not to."

Miku raised her eyebrows. "It sounds like you do. You're the rather dangerous type, aren't you?" Her striking blue eyes locked with his and she tilted her head to the side, waiting for an answer.

When Miku tilts her head, Zorn decides to be cocky and tilts his too.
"Maybe. Maybe not. How is this your concern?"

"Well, I'd rather know what I'm getting into before deciding to like you or not." She narrowed her eyes. "I don't like any funny business."

"Who says I'm being funny?"
He glares a very cold glare that sends shrivels up her back.

"You seem like the type that likes to put their nose where it doesn't belong." She bared her teeth and hissed. "SO AM I!" she cheered, jumping up and down, her tone drastically more upbeat and happy than her monotone and condescending voice before.

Zorn jumps just when she gets all pumped up.
"Simmer down, there, Miku."

She flashed a huge grin at him and stopped jumping. " 'Kay," she said. "Hey, you never told me your name." She strided up to him and shook his hand.

Zorn barely smiles. He shakes her hand back, then yanks his hand out from hers, putting it to his side.
"Yes I did, but since you forgot, it's Zorn."

"Whatever," she said, twirling around. "Wanna explore with me?" she asked, standing on her tip-toes to look into his eyes.

Zorn rolls his eyes at her excitement. A hint of a short-lived smile blossoms.
"Yeah sure."

She smiled widely at him and clasped her hands together. "Awesome!" In only a few seconds, she had already grabbed a hold on one of his hands and was dragging Zorn closer to the middle of the site. "To adventure!"

Zorn stumbles along with this crazy woman- girl. He decides that if she is positive, he needs to be.
"To death!" he says enthusiastic.

"HAH! We probably won't die," she giggled. She stopped at the middle of the construction site. "So, what should we do first, Zorn?" She turned to him, her eyes open wide in innocent anticipation.

Zorn cringes really bad when she stares at him with wide eyes.
"First, you are having a sugar rush or something, and I can't wait for your sugar crash. Second, let's kill someone!"
When she doesn't speak, he groans.
"Fine. No killing. People. What do you even like to do? Kill ants with fire from magnifying glass?"
He thinks about that, then chuckles. Actually chuckles.
"Sounds fun."

She snorted. "What's that supposed to mean? Also, my brother would kill me if I killed anyone. And hey! I'm not someone who's as shallow as they need to be entertained by taking the lives of other living creatures!" She sniffed dramatically. "Although I do hate ants, so yes, I do like to do that. Anyway, I prefer playing games, or talking, or writing."

Zorn's chuckle mood disappeared as fast as it came.
"Alright. what to do?"

Miku kicked a rock. It went surprisingly far. "Hm, wanna play a game? Like truth or dare or hide and seek?"

((starting to cringe, don't know why lol))

"Truth or Dare."
Hide and Seek seemed like a game he would play at night, so he will save it for later. Zorn smirks at Miku.
"Or are you to scared?"

"Psssh, as if!" She smirked right back at him. "I'll let you go first, Mr. Daring." She ran her hands through her light brown hair subconsciously.

Zorn resists the urge to slap Miku's hand away from her hair, because what she is doing feels like a flirtatious move. He just sighs.
"Okay. Miku, truth or dare?"

"Dare," she said immediately, her tone challenging him. "And stop looking at my hair. It's weird and you're making me feel insecure," she grumbled.

Zorn groans.
"I wasn't staring at it that way. but since you picked dare, here you go. I dare you to climb that restricted equipment and jump off, and land on your feet."
He points at a 30ft tall crane.

"So you're asking me to kill myself?" She seemed genuinely offended and her eyes lost their usual shine. "Gosh, I didn't know you were that rude..."

Zorn smiles. ((🎵for the first time in forever🎵))
"Then you don't know me. And no, I'm not asking you to kill yourself. I'm daring you too. And by the way, the jump won't kill you. Fun fact, a baby fell from that height and bashed his head. He survived."

Miku promptly flipped him off. "Whatever," she growled, quickly starting to scale the equipment. Her eyes were still dull.

Zorn gasps when she flips him off. He watches her scale the crane.
"Oh, and don't look down!"
He swirls dark clouds (dark thoughts) at the bottom.

"Not going to, idiot." She swiftly reached the top. "If a single bone in my body is broken, Kuro and Masato are going to kill you," she sneered. "So remember that." She kept her chin in the air, refusing to look down.
