Etheral Academy discussion

A place where teachers can socialize, work, drink and eat anytime during the day when they are not in class. Comfy couches, a small kitchen and a few desks and tables are here for the use of all those (Teachers) who need them.

Matthew looked up from the notes he was making on a desk. "Hey, Nancy." He greeted her as he fixed his hair that had flatten down during the day. "Had a long day?"

"Hey Nancy! " Mindy said happily from the table she was sitting at. "Tea is always good for long days. Come have some!"

"I've just been here preparing my next class." Matthew said while looking back down at his notes. "Mindy here has been keeping me company for sometime now."

"I wasnt much help though. I was probably just distracting you." Mindy said to Matthew.

" I was keeping Matthew some company. But, I feel like I forgot something. Matthew, what was I doing before you asked me to keep you company?"

"I heard that some of the students have been breaking school rules..." Mindy said.

"I wasn't like that. Teacher were more strict back then. "

"I'm saying we aren't as strict. We are more chill with our students. They like that. They like the teachers more now then before. Before, all they had to think about was being respectful to the teacher. With us, they can be themselves. "

"We have to be strict when things get out of hand." Matthew said, looking up from his notes. "Although that doesn't mean we can't be chill with our students. It is our duty."

"Things are getting out of hand. Students are leaving the Academy. They are vandalizing trains. They are also harming each other. Even if it is not intentionally. They are hurting each other. We must begin our lessons soon. And, girls are alone with boys in their dorms. And, one of the students has gone in your office Nancy. The person was looking through your files. They are also drinking. We need to do something about it. And, don't tell anyone that you found this out from me. I have my sources but, I will only tell when things get desperate. "

"I told you the information. Are we going to do anything about it? Or are we going to let this school go into runes?" she asked as she sipped her tea.

Matthew sighed. "Out of all those problems, the least of our worries is that girls are alone with boys." He said. "Vandalizing, harming and drinking are our bigger concerns."

"Yeah. I think there are fights too. " Mindy said.

Matthew sighed once more. "Well, then what do you recommend that we do?" He asked Mindy. "Go around and be on everyone's business all the time?"

"I am just saying what I am told. Jeezz... If you don't want to hear it. I will leave. " she said as she got up with her cup of coffee and headed for the door.

Matthew sighed. "It's not that." He said, more softly. "I have just been really stressed out lately."

"We all have Matthew. Most of these children have troubled pasts. We need to help them get past it. " she said as she sat back down.

Matthew nodded. "Alright, so what's the plan?" He asked while looking at both of them. "It's us against the horde of superpowered troubled teenagers. How do we do it?"

"The government tried that already to some of them. The more dangerous ones. It didn't work. We have to get the kids to find ways to help control the gifts. Each gift is different and each child is different. We must remember this when we teach. "

"Government. Always dealing with things they can't control and messing everything up." Matthew said. "I would know, I teach History."

"Again? This is not good... We must start classes right away. Starting tomorrow. We must get the children to behave. We will have all the teachers in the classroom when teaching a subject because, one teacher will not be able to handle all the students. "

"Why would students wanna patrol the school? They would rather do other things like party and go on dates. We would have one teacher teaching and the others are there just to keep kids under control. "

"That is one student. Out of how many? And, what is his minor infraction? "

"I knew that they are in her dorm together. It is going to be hard on Haruhi and Felipe when classes starts. They will spend less time together. And, I'm not upset. I'm just saying that 1 out of 19. And, more are coming. We have to be prepared. "

"What is your idea?"

"We can just teach. And, we will figure it out later. Nancy, I have no idea what I should do for my lesson. I.I.. can you help me? "

"What are you doing in your class?"

“What are you doing for your lesson?”

“Ok. I got an idea for my lesson.”

“But, you told me your plan. You did help me.”

"I better be going! See you guys later!" she said as she walked though the door.

Matthew let out a small chuckled. "Who said that I am?" He replied with a question and a smile. He closed his notebook and walked over to the couches. He sat on one of them.

"Looks can be deceiving, my dear." Matthew looked as a wave of electric currents ran through him. Once they got to his hair, it vanished but it clearly left a mark on his appearance. His hair was now standing on end, and he ended up looking like a mad scientist.

Matthew nodded. "Lighting can do that to a person." He said. He then raised his hands as if he was an old man and smiled. He let out small crackles of lighting from his hands into the air while mimicking Emperor Palpatine. "UNLIMITED POWER!!!!" He shouted.

Matthew laughed. "And we are supposed to be the adults here." He said in between intakes of breaths. "Alright....alright." He tried to regain control and calm himself. "We need to be the role models here."

Matthew grinned. "How does it feel to be the Headmistress?" He asked her, while tidying up his hair. "You know, with great power comes...." He let the reference drop.

Matthew shrugged. "I'm not doubting you." He pointed out. "Besides, if you don't doubt yourself then you have no reason to let anybody else doubt you. You can do it."

Matthew nodded. "I'm guilty of doing the same thing." He said while getting up. He started to pack his things. "You know, we should really open up a stress and anger management class. Not just for our students."

Once he had all his thing packed up in a backpack, he tidied himself up once more and got ready to leave. "You are the headmistress." He said while smiling. "Make it happen. No one ever said that you couldn't do things for yourself every once in a while."

Matthew nodded. "I'll see you around, Nancy." He said while opening the door. He gave a small salute as a farewell and left the lounge.

Felipe walked into the lounge along with Nancy. He was unusually restless and angry. His body emitted a dark smoke that gave him a dangerous looking figure. It was a side of Felipe that not many people had seen.

Mindy rushed into the lounge. "That is the second student! What are we doing to do? Do you guys have any ideas who the third student is? Oh, hello Felipe. What are you doing here?" Mindy asked.

Felipe looked between Nancy and Mindy. "They are going to come back?" He asked. "Who are they going to take? And how does the government believe they can get away with this?" Anger has clearly overpowered his other emotions.

"Emotionally instable ones...." Felpe repeated while his anger slowly subsided. He started thinking of another person that was....Kuro. Felipe looked up at Nancy and Mindy. His anger came back to him and so did his smoke. He headed toward the door of the lounge.

"I think so too. " Mindy freezes the ice and then punches the ice. It shattered and Mindy ran out of the room to find Kuro.

"So what's the plan?" Felipe asked, turning around as his exit remained blocked. "Keep them from taking Kuro? What about the ones that are already taken? What about my Haruhi?" His anger was out of control and so was his smoke. "How are we going to get her back?"

"In the great hall with his girlfriend.. They always seem to be there..."

Felipe sighed and took a moment to calm himself. His powers stopped manifesting and he was able to keep his anger in check, although part of him was begging to find Haruhi right now. He followed both teachers into the great hall.

"Felipe and Kuro go into the bunker" she said as she revealed a bunker under a coach. "Nancy and I will make sure no one finds you too. Protect yourselves at all costs."
