Well, hmmm... I didn't really like Harry and especially not after his spiral. I did like his relationship with Joseph though and how that came full circle.

I agree - Harry's downturn was quite shocking in the middle of the book. Probably one of the most grotesquely descriptive narrations of an alcoholic binge that I have read. But, just as quickly as it began, it ended. Instead of advancing the plot, I felt it was more to develop his character. I am wondering if this will prove to be more important for future titles in this series.
And, I am wondering if I was missing something, but it surprised me how quickly Brigetta forgave him. Perhaps it was explained quickly in a paragraph I skimmed or something. However, little changes in relationships between characters seemed to come out of nowhere througout the book, so I probably shouldn't be surprised.

I like Andrew too - actually, I read this comment on the day I read he was killed, so I was sad knowing that you liked him but soon you would get to the point where he met his demise. :(

yeah not long after i wrote it I reaches that part but still even with everything you find out about him after that I still like him!
Yes, I liked Andrew too. I think his faults though made him even more likable because he wasn't just a "made it perfectly" story. I couldn't believe Brigetta forgave him just like that either. I thought there was going to be more than that.I think the suddenness of the ending of the alcoholic binge is the part that bothered me. If only it were that easy for people...
