December is almost upon us!! This can be a difficult month to get much reading done but please share with us your reading plans (or just tentative thoughts!).

I have lots of ideas for what to read in December, so this list is just what I think I might read...mysteries:

I will be reading The Brothers Karamazov so I don't know if I'll have enough time for much else. I hope so, though, there are so many books to read!

My plans:
1) to finish the complete tales by Hans Christian Andersen
2) to read a book set in India or by an Indian author to complete a challenge in another group and I think I will read The Moor's Last Sigh by Salman Rushdie. I hope to find it at the library.
3) Io non mi chiamo Miriam by Majgull Axelsson (no English translation) if I will have enough time.

Woman in the Nineteenth Century is up next for me and then I will start rereading The Once and Future King for a buddy read in another group.I intend to finish Antarctica as well but it might carry over to next year.
I just picked up The Driver's Seat by Muriel Spark
and
Letter from an Unknown Woman and Other Stories by Stefan Zweig
They are short so I think I can stick them in too.

Some short stories: Julian: A Christmas Story
I haven't read this but apparently Julian Comstock: A Story of 22nd-Century America is an expansion of this novella. I read the book earlier this year and thought it was brilliant. I'll keep this one in mind to read sometime soon, I think.
