The Silver Fox

One day, a little girl walked outside to see the chicken coop had been raided. The blood of the birds scattered the ground.
Quickly, the girl grabbed a knife and a lantern. Her footsteps trailed off into the cold forest.
As the girl wandered, she saw a glimmer of light through the trees and brush.
She looked through the snow covered trees and noticed a fox. The fox heard her crack a stick. The beautiful glow of the fox shimmered. Blue eyes gazed at the girl as she readied her knife. Before she could hit the fox, the beautiful figure had ran off into the forest.
As the girl trudged on in search of the fox, night began to fall onto the cold winter. The girl began to freeze and fall dizzy. As the world hazed, her lantern blew out in the cold wind.
The girl collapsed onto the ground and fainted in the freezing snow.
The silver fox walked upon to the girl and layer next to her, curling the fluffy tail around her and warming the girl up, keeping her alive.
When her parents finally came upon their child the next morning, the silver fox woke up and headed off into the forest. The parents had taken their daughter home. The silver fox, watching them return home.

Name: Zethra von FaervisAge: 22

Personality: N/A
Story: “On that night I swore I would search for our brother all the days of my life if I had to. I worked hard to learn all that I could of faery magic. Good enchantresses who had heard of my plight, along with a coterie of fae royalty, came to assist me in my study of the craft. I wanted to learn of a spell, or create one, that could help Sephora and me find our brother, and perhaps put an end to that dreadful curse in the process of doing so.
“Tireless nights and days passed. Sleepless moons and poor-spent suns rose and sunk around me as I mastered and toiled under my heavy determination and unwavering faith that I would indeed find a remedy to the trouble in just a matter of time.
“Ten years went by in a blur and I stood as the maid-of-honor at my sister’s marriage to Henry, a beloved friend of ours who had helped us cope and labored with us while we continued our search for Donald. We cried because she was a beautiful bride and her groom loved her. We also cried because our best friend and brother was not there to witness this glorious milestone in her life.
“It was the night of her honeymoon departure that I discovered the poem. Glee filled every pore in my body, oh! how happy was I to find a remedy.
“In a book of spells and alchemy, I found the answer to our problem. A page towards the center of the book had not only a spell, but a potion as well, that could save Donald.
“I gathered the ingredients as fast as I could:
“‘1. A lock of hair from a kin of the cursed
2. Wolfbane
3. Bloodroot
4. Lemon Balm and Honeysuckle tea
5. Crushed Pineapple Mint
6. Dandelion milk
7. Peppermint extract (menthol)
8. A four leave clover
9. A clove of garlic
10. Three drops of honey
11. Rose quartz powder
12. A fruit of choice’
“I carried the ingredients in a small basket to my atelier in Steinau. There I broiled them all in lukewarm, crystalline brooke water, in a cauldron placed under a window so that the morning sun’s rays were shining on the brew. I placed a crystal prism just above the pot and situated it so that the sunlight peered through it and came out the other side as a rainbow, directed into my stew of sorts.
“As the potion bubbled and underwent chemical changes, I began to chant the poem found in the book in a singsong voice, honey sweet:
‘Brother dear your wits are gone
You drifted away with the dawn
A terrified shriek and a growl
Nonsense is all you howl
Brother dear return to me
From that curse I shall set you free
Remember days and nights as a mortal
Bring back merry dance and chortles
Brother dear the sun shan’t set
Clovers sway in dewy droplets
Now return at once to nature’s dream
And sew these tattered, broken seams.’
“Twice more I sang the spell. A wisp of light puffed from the potion and a smell like a summer dawn wafted through my little workshop on an invisible breeze. This was the indication, as the book had told, that the fruit of my choice was to be dipped in the brew, three times, absorbing all the magic liquid for seven minutes on the last dunk.
“I did as the book instructed, and fourteen minutes after reciting the charm the third time, I raised a tinted pink nectarine out of the golden bubbles. The sight of it made me smile brighter than I had ever smiled in the past decade.
“I ran to the manor that my father and mother now lived at. My father’s bakery and my mother’s embroidery had become quite famous and therefore we were rewarded with the rich lifestyle my siblings and I had not experienced as children. It was only a heart dampener that the youngest member of the Von Faervis family was unable to divulge in such luxuries.
“With my father’s permission, I was whisked away in his finest carriage to be transported to Berlin to inform my sister and brother-in-law of my exciting discovery. Of course, I sent a message ahead, via telegram, so that my arrival would not be unexpected.
That was yesterday.” Zethra finished off her end of the story and looked to Sephora as if to check if the girl had anything else to say. (This is just the story that explains what happened to Zethra)
Other: She's an enchantress

For Fables, you have to write a story.
For example, The Three Little Pigs.
In the story, there are three pigs and a Big Bad Wolf.
Fables, are those characters.
All you have to do is write a story for your Fable!
