Well, this should be a good one for a starter. If we can each read 2 books, we should be able to cover it all. Does anyone want to start picking which letters they w ant? I can take any of them that are left. Does anyone want to a read a paranormal, too?

Hi team!!

I am currently reading Romancing the Dead which should work as paranormal (shelved as Paranormal > Vampires by 53 users; Fantasy > Paranormal by 46 users, etc.)

I also just finished Red, Green, or Murder which unfortunately will only work for "R".

I plan on reading The Secret of Joy by Melissa Senate this week which will work for "M". I'm sure there will be one or two others so let me know what letters you need.

For these challenges it's been the finish date that counts.

Audiobooks do count. I think the only restriction is that the print edition would need to be over 160 pages.

As far as the genre - if at least 1 person from the group reads the genre we get 20 bonus points.

Oh sure - change it up so then I'll really be confused, lol!!

In the past, they allowed you to start a book prior to the contest as long as it was finished after the opening bell.

Audiobooks should be fine.

Hi!!! We have the word paranormal, we have the letters P A N. You have to read a book that's title starts with one of those letters, or a book that has a characters name that starts with the letter, or an author. Has to be over 40,000 words or I think 160 pages put your book in a special shelf it doesn't have to be from the paranormal genre

Although I'm still reading my "M" book I do have a book (Everblue) that will fit "P" or "A" which I'll probably start because it's on my Kindle. Let me know if you want/need it.

I got a little off track the last few days and ended up reading 2 books we could use to spell out Paranormal if necessary.

I had removed one book I finished on the 12th from my list but in lurking looking at other team threads it might count. I've added it back because it would definitely work for the 2nd round of paranormal spelling.

I'll add them to a second spelling of PARANORMAL. Go for the P or A as well, if you want we can always get points for the second time around if someone else reads them, too.

I did see that a few other teams were going for at least a second spelling (if not a third).

It just happens that I have a little extra time this week so I keep crossing these books off of my list.

I'm having trouble keeping up :-). Visiting Mom & Dad - hard to get a word read edgewise.

It's been perfect reading weather as well - nice and rainy with a few violent storms (boo!) thrown into the mix.

I didn't have to travel for my job this week so a little extra time to read.
