My grandson will be so thrilled to see I am on this team. He is SO into Dr. Who. He is 11 and already has the hat the screwdriver thingy and just traveled to England and visited the Dr. Who museum in Cardiff. He keeps trying to get me to watch on Netflix.

I never watched Dr Who

I know what a Tardis is and nothing more.

That is so cool. I remember being a kid and getting up early every Saturday morning to watch the Dr. Then it was cancelled for a while until the "new" series started about 10 years ago.
I love that the show transcends generations, and his gadets (like the sonic screwdriver) are ahead of our technology without being "silly". I can't wait for the new series to start next month :)

"Who" knew that this show has been around for 50 years. I totally missed it.

Sonia - it is time you got educated! Please start watching from the start of the "new" BBC series with Christopher Eckleston at least!!

Karen, do you have any idea how hard it is to watch Dr Who here in Portugal?

Only on syfy channel (the one that also has game of thrones) and no idea what series they have on.

The only option is buying it. Which isn't really an option at all with the prohibitive prices we have on series DVD packs.

I remember buying bones first season, with discount, for 48 euros. WITH DISCOUNT.

Yeah, to be honest, the prices on buying Dr Who here are really ridiculous too... Luckily it is played on loop on one of our free-to-air tv channels

Mandy, rules state "at least one person", so one is enough but it won't hurt to have another one for back up.

Marie, I believe it's one book per letter, but we can be really flexible with it: the first letter in the book's title, the first letter in the author's first or last name, the first letter in the series name, or the first letter of a character's first, last, or nick-name (copied from the rules)

Thank goodness I couldn't find a best seller I liked.
I've got a E & U and maybe one more.

I suggest we add all books we are reading now and planning to read to our Wheel-a-thon shelves, even if the letters they fit are already covered, since as soon as we spell the genre once we can go for another round within the same week. And don't forget to mark them as read once you're done!
