I just LOVED this book. Probably favorite, although it may be tied with a few other of Ms. Douglas' books.

Can recommend any similar books? Thanks!

similar how? (pen pals, enemies to lover,etc)

i loved this book and i equally loved (if not loved more) the fall away series by penelope douglas, cute (and steamy) enemies to lovers romance with bad boy vibes ;)
i also love paper princess, and wait for you

There was something about this book that just ticked all my boxes. I loved everything about it and normally I’m not a fan of the high school setting because it feels slightly pervy reading about high school kids getting it on. Nevertheless I loved the dynamic of the characters. I guess that’s what I’m looking for in similar books

Similar book??? PRETTY RECKLESS, by L.J.Shen... There is a Queen bee, with a perfect life, but secret deep scars and a vulnerable heart. And there is a boy, with a broken family... he belongs to her past, but now, out of the blue he appears in her present... and everything changes. There is a beautiful enemy to lovers story, with a lot of secrets and open wounds.

Btw, they even have both, sisters...

The peer and the puppet by BB Reid
Fear me by BB Reid are both
Vicious by LJ Shen are all three on my all time favorite book list. Definitely recommend.

Pen pals that write each other as kids and keep on writing for years;
Dirty Letters by Vi Keeland.
I liked Punk 57 a bit more but I did enjoy Dirty Letters and really liked the ending.

Rebel of Raleigh High by Callie Hart is very similar.

It has the bad boy, the horrible/ mean girl best friend (ex best friend in this book), and the mean popular boy. They are VERY similar. I will add a trigger warning because RORH involves rape and even though Punk 57 implies it with Trey , RORH really goes into it. It is not the main theme or the main story but it is apart of it. RORH is very intense in every way you can imagine but if you are looking for a book with a similar atmosphere and similar characters and are not afraid of angst and intensity, I strongly suggest Rebel of Raleigh High.
