This month we start out with seven books that are scheduled to be published this month they are: 1) The Girl of a Thousand Cuts: A Thriller by Emelie Schepp to be published December 1, 2017. I note that this will be published June 19, 2018 as Sweden. 2) One Station Away by Olaf Olafsson to be published December 5, 2017. Sweden. 3) The Ninth Grave: A Fabian Risk Novel by Stefan Ahnhem to be re-published December 5, 2017. Sweden. Was published November 2016. 4) Protected by the Shadows by Helene Tursten To be published December 5, 2017. Sweden. 5) A Lady in Shadows by Lene Kaaberbøl to be published on December 5, 2015. Finland. 6) Pen 33 by Borge Hellstrom Anders Roslund to be published December 6, 2017. Sweden 7) The Shaman's House by Christoffer Petersen to be published December 24, 2017. Denmark. Killed by Thomas Enger is being let out earlier than we thought it will be published on December 24, 2017 instead of in 2018. Norway.

A Lady in Shadows by Lene Kaaberbøl kept me inthralled since her other book Doctor Death was published in 2015. It makes for enjoyable reading. Whats next.....

Black Sand: An Icelandic Thriller by Gígur Hrafnsson was published November 23, 2017. Iceland. Thought it could have more time.

I'm half way through One Station Away by Olaf Olafsson and It's not a murder mystery I would put it under General Scandinavian, although the one woman in the book dies and was his lover. We'll see how the second half pans out.
