Bomb discussion

In December 1938 a German chemist made a shocking discovery. When placing a uranium atom near radioactive material it splits into two which releasing energy. This lead to 3 groups of scientists to work on this discovery. A attack was sent out to attack German heavy water manufacturing. A site took place in a dessert far out. the site was named Los Alamos, scientists worked there to plot the creation of a destructive weapon. This book is a great book to read because it tells a story that actually happened. Since this book is based on a true story it does not belong to series. It is fairly simple to read and holds a lot of real information to read about. I give this book a 4 star rating because it had descriptive words and detailed pictures of people involved with the atomic bomb project.
