2.1 (Wanda's task) The Amazing Race

1.Capture the Flag
At the end of November, I will be leaving to embark upon a river cruise in Germany. The stops will be at various towns to enjoy the Christmas Markets.

Read a book set in the Germany (must be at less set 75% in chosen country).

2. Detour
To reach your detour complete one of the following tasks.

1. The reason for my trip is to visit and shop at all the Christmas markets at each stop on the cruise. Germany is famous for its Christmas markets.
For this task read a book in which the author’s initials can be found in the German word CHRISTKINDLMARKT (Christmas Market). Only use first and last initials and you can only use letter as often as they appear in the word.

2. Regional artisan crafts are highlights of the Christmas Markets. Children’s toys, tree ornaments, and so many more Christmas gift selections are to be found in the outside stalls in the town squares
For this task, you have a choice of selecting a non-fiction book which subject is any form of crafting (woodworking, knitting, sewing, etc)OR a book which has a Christmas decoration on the front cover. If you choose the cover option, please post the cover.

3. Last but never least, the Christmas market is known for its food and beverages. Two of my favorites are the sausages that you buy from the food stalls and gingerbread. A special delight is the mulled red wine known as Gluhwein.
For this task, read a book with a title of at least three words. The beginning letter of each word must be found in any of these three ---gingerbread, gluhwein, sausage.
