Right now I'm reading Sing, Unburied, Sing. Not sure what's next...maybe The Book of Disquiet by Fernando Pessoa. Or Wuthering Heights (I've never read it). And then The Changeling for your book club!
I’m reading The Scapegoat by Daphne du Maurier. Its classic Du Maurier and one that no one talks about enough. What a shame!
I'm reading The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey. No big reading plans this month on account of the holidays and lots to do to get ready for that.
Hope you all have an enjoyable December!
See you in the new year!
I'm finishing up a Nonfiction Nov pick of Under the Banner of Heaven by Jon Krakauer and just started What We Lose by Zinzi Clemmons, which is a quick read so far but I'm not sure what I think of it yet
Currently reading Wonder Valley, I have The Changeling on Library hold - should come up soon - just in time for the Book Club!
I just finished Killers of the Flower Moon and it was amazing! I am starting The Geography of Genius now and have had a few other library holds become available so lots of reading in my future!
Just finished Mrs. FletcherStarted Reservoir 13
Book group holiday reads: Comfort & Joy and Holly and Ivy
Book group classic read: Little Women
Just received The Changeling

Hello Angie, Rebecca is just brilliant, simply brilliant. I think I’ll end up going through her entire catalog because she’s just that good. Please let us know what you think. Enjoy!

I read this in early November and thought it was an incredible and gripping read.
I am currently reading A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles and Burial Rites by Hannah Kent. I also have a nonfiction book on the go for my history book group: The Ottoman Endgame: War, Revolution, and the Making of the Modern Middle East, 1908 - 1923
I'm reading The Bear and the Nightingale and finishing The Wise Man's Fear. I also just started Maisie Dobbs on audiobook, excited for a good detective book with a solid female protagonist.
Just finished White Tears and really enjoyed it, but it was definitely different from what I expected. Second half was very fractured and surreal, but it worked for me.
Florence in Ecstacy. I love the discussion you had with Jessie on her book. I was so happy my library had it, and it is on there fiction display. I read the prologue and I am like Yes, this gorgeous writing. I am so excited to read this one.
I just finished Sing, Unburied Sing last night...undecided about that one but in the middle of When Dimple Met Rishi and listening to The War I Finally Won-which is great! The rest of the month-I did pick up Lonesome Dove-yes I haven't read it and Wives & Daughters, they are chunksters but i want to read them over the holidays!

Hope your read..."
