What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

The book is a young adult novel; about a girl who lives in a walled community where women are required to have a chaperone. Her dad is some spy or agent and he is out on a mission so she is being watched by her uncle. But her birthday is coming up and she's required to get married or have a chaperone. Her dad is out hunting a monster that terrorizes the village. The ruler of the village is a jerk who is like an ex military commander and he has it out for the girl and her father. The girl's dad has taken on a male apprentice and he builds secret devices to track monsters and block electronic signals etc. Long story short the girl and boy end up going on a mission together to find a clue the girl's dad hid in the woods and they end up falling in love. I can't for the life of me remember the title of the story; it came out fairly recently. Thanks for the help.
