Oooh, I had 30 books on my TBR list just with the word "moon" in the title (and a couple with "honeymoon", LOL!). I'm nominating The Moons of Jupiter by Alice Munro, since it has both moons and a planet in the title.
For clarification, are we limited to the 4 words "Sun" "Planet" "Moon" and "Star", or can we also use assigned names for particular ones, such as "Big Dipper" "Orion" and "Saturn"?

I nominate Empire of the Sun. I've seen the movies years ago and wanted to read the book... that would be a good occasion :)
Cloud Atlas sounds good too and I already have it. Loads of great nominations! It's going to be hard to pick this month!
Cloud Atlas would be a great book to discuss, and I think it also could work for the chunky challenge. There are lots of great books in here! Or at least, books I'd like to think are great, which are already on my TBR lol.

Does that include planes, hot air balloons, ufo's or something like that?

Im not nominating this, but is very probably I am going to read one of these for the monat´s book group:Under the Never Sky
The Stars My Destination
The Dog Stars
Or The Movement of Stars
What - no Star Trek or Star Wars readers here? Don't worry, I am not going to nominate one, but I could. My shelves are full of "Space" stories and I even found a book of Sherlock Holmes short stories written by Science Fiction authors and edited by Isaac Asimov Sherlock Holmes Through Time and Space. I am not nominating it, but I might read it if I can find a copy.
John Steinbeck wrote The Moon Is Down - a little short @ 144 pages and William Faulkner wrote Light in August - a little long @ 507 pages. I love the titles!
I found a Western by Zane Grey called The Lone Star Ranger.
Don't mind me - I am bored at work and having fun looking at what I have on my TBR list. I have read many of the books nominated and have most of the others on my TBR list.....Going away now. :0)
Your right Cherie it would be perfect time to read William Shakespeare's Star Wars: Verily, A New Hope which I've heardany good reviews bit am not nominating since there are oodles of books already and reading Dresden #2 Fool Moon
Travis, I read William Shakespeare's Star Wars: Verily, A New Hope. I thought it was great! I bought the second one William Shakespeare's The Empire Striketh Back but have not gotten to it yet. I don't even have it on my TBR list.
There are some great lines! It really was well done.

- To allow enough time for as many people as possible to read, try and limit the page count to approximately 400 pages maximum.
- To ensure the book is available for as many readers as possible, please consider whether your nomination is 1) still in print or 2) available as a reasonably-priced e-book (under $12) or 3) published no less than 3 months ago. These are not requirements of course, but suggestions :)
One nomination per person please - random.org will then choose a selection for voting.
Nominations close July 18.
