Zibbernaut I think a month is enough time for me, but I'd hate for someone to fall behind and not be able to discuss with us so I'm down to see what everyone else thinks on timeline!

Anything by Sarah J Mas (may have spelled that wrong) I feel like everyone but me has read, and while I don't think I'll love her books, I feel like I have to read them to fit in? I don't know. I really ought to not feel that way lol

The Grisha Trilogy is also one that I own but I haven't gotten to reading. Those seem to have better reviews than Sarah's work.

Fernanda (njuhmma) | 4 comments It really depends on a lot of factors? Like, how long the book is or what's happening in my life at the moment - longer books obviously take me longer to read, and if I'm too busy I'm also going to read slower. Even though I'm usually a fast reader (I can read a 300 page book in a week if really I'm into it), I think a month is good, too - or whatever everyone else decides it's better. <3

As for series I'm interested in reading, I have never read Sarah J Maas, either (though I did try once and ended up getting bored after a few pages and never picked it up again). I also never finished the TMI series????? And never read her other series in the shadowhunter universe.

Mariana (irolenze) | 3 comments Yeah I think a book a month is reasonable as long as the book is not too long (in that case we can always adjust the time).

I've never read any Sarah J Maas book but I'd be willing to give it a chance! (I've heard they have some explicit sex scenes, which is something I'm not accustomed to but I've heard great things about books so it sounds exciting!)

I've also never finished the TMI series... I think I dropped it during the third book. That could be a good one too :)

Also I'd like to read more books by Patrick Ness because I read The Rest of Us Just Live Here and I really enjoyed it and I've heard nothing but good stuff about his books.

And I know most of you have probably already read most of her books but I've never read any Agatha Christie's books and I hope to correct that ASAP!

I feel like it might be good to have more than one book going on at the same time. I'm not a huge romance lover, so I don't see myself reading anything in that genre. I don't mind if a book has romance in it, but I don't want to read about something sappy where the only plot point is the two main characters getting together. It might be good two books of different genres going at once.

I am definitely up for trying Sarah Mass' books series. Also the Red Queen series has always interested me but I have not read it...

I actually got the idea from my high school book club from way back when. We'd have 2-3 books going at the same time and people could read all the books if they wanted but if they didn't that would be okay. It was nice having the choice to refuse something if you weren't comfortable with the content of the book or if you weren't keen on the topic.

Lisanne (wolffhoofd) I like the idea of multiple (2-3) books per month, letting everyone decide for themselves whether to read all or pick one they are most interested in!

I have read the ACOTAR installments by Sarah J. Maas, but have yet to read the Throne of Glass series. So, those books would be my preference, but I'm up for basically anything

Sea of Shadows by Kelly Armstrong could be good too. I believe the eBook version is free as well.

message 8: by jen (new)

jen (jenunfiltered) I think all of these suggestions are great! I haven’t read most of the big (and more recent) series because I lost touch with fantasy / dystopian as a genre, so it’ll be excited to be nudged back into it. I also really love the idea of being able to choose between multiple books!

Lexie Lou (lexie_lou03) | 2 comments I would love to read throne of glass! Some other series I would like to read are The Wrath and the Dawn, Legend, The Kiss of Deception, The Queen of the Tearling, and Illuminae

I think a new poll would be cool

Isabella Will we begin reading in january to make it month-by-month or reading every 4 weeks or so?
I am up for whatever, just excited to start reading! 👌

V. (vaniaasantos) | 5 comments Usually, I don't read two or more books at the same time. Usually I read one. But the time I spend on reading depends on the time I have available and what's going on in my life. And the book story need to atrack me. But the ideia of having more books available to read because we can choose between one of them sounds better to me.

message 13: by Isabella (new)

Isabella Im good with doing 2 books a month

message 14: by V. (new)

V. (vaniaasantos) | 5 comments Probably it's better to wait until january, since we are in middle of december. And I'm good with doing 2 books a months. :)

message 15: by Lisanne (new)

Lisanne (wolffhoofd) Two books a month is fine with me. I also have a bookclub with a friend, so I'd probably pick one book myself anyway

message 16: by Fernanda (new)

Fernanda (njuhmma) | 4 comments Two books a month is fine by me, as well. It's kind of my average, anyway HAHAHAHHA

message 17: by Zibbernaut (new)

Zibbernaut Two books a month sounds good. And yes please let's wait for January, it gives us time to pick up the books and deal with christmas stuff too :D

Isabella Kate Ozera wrote: "Hey! I just found out about booklending.com
You can basically use it as an ebook library (: so if any of you don't have the books, you can try and find them there!"

Thats cool! Thanks!
