I just finished reading this book in class and I’m in the seventh grade. I enjoyed it quite a bit! It wasn’t near as boring as a lot of the books that we usually read in school. I also live in Kansas, so I could relate to places in the book like Fort Leavenworth and Lawrence. I also have been to Jefferson City, so I could relate to that. In all, I really enjoyed the climax of the novel! I also really liked the portrayal of Hickok and Mary Dent. Lije was a pretty good main character and I liked the spy aspect of the novel as well. I liked how the characters were portrayed whether they were real or fiction. In all, this book was a good read that I would recommend to to others!
