Which fantasy land or galaxy far, far away did you visit?

I am working my way through the Disc world series by Terry Pratchett. The Light Fantastic
I used to enjoy the Piers Anthony Xanthe novels and was happy to find this series.

I read Witch Boy by Molly Ostertag. It was very interesting, I just wish there had been more!

GUYS - how have I been sleeping on The Magicians for so long?! The audio on this is FANTASTIC - all the right inflections and dramatic pauses. In case you are tempted to compare it to Harry Potter, keep in mind the similarities end at a magical school. The timeline, tone, and plot are all very different. The language is snarkier and more adult, too. This is the start of a trilogy that I look forward to continuing with.

I've heard about The Magicians for a long time and just never gave it any thought. I think I will have to now! Thanks for the review Andrea.
