Alberto gave us more informations about the next live.
It will be on Sunday, December 17th and we just have to read the first part of The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho.
Part 2 will be discuss the following Sunday (December 24th).

We've just wrapped up the first live chat for The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. If you've missed it and you want to watch it, check out Youtube ! I know that some members save the live chats and upload them on Youtube.
We will next discuss the end of the book (pt.II + epilogue) on SATURDAY, December 23rd at 12pm EST.

Here's the update on the live chat for next week.
The book we are going to talk about is Tuesdays with Morrie, by Mitch Albom.
The live chat will be on Saturday, January 13th at 12pm EST.
We need to read up to the 7th Tuesday (about 115 pages in depending on your edition), which means we have to read through the 6th Tuesday.

We've just wrapped up the live for this week, with Jordan Morello, one of Alberto's friend, as a special guest.
Next and last live chat for Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom will be held on Saturday, January 20th at the now usual 12pm EST. We are going to talk about the end of the book, from the 7th Tuesday until the end, since there is not that many pages left.
And then, Alberto will talk about the schedule for our next book, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.

Another update: as you probably know, after Bradbury's book, we're going to read Catch-22 by Joseph Heller. Alberto told us what will read after Heller's book: it's going to be Breakfast of Champions, by Kurt Vonnegut.

Alberto did a poll on the Rosende Reads IG story yesterday and members have voted.
It will be held on Sunday, February 11th at 11am EST and we will discuss the end of the book (part 3).

Today was the day of our third and last live for Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.
The next book on our reading list is Catch-22 by Joseph Heller. For next week, we will have to read up to chapter 10.
The time and day still need to be determined. Alberto is going to ask us to choose with a poll (on the Rosende Reads IG Story) whether the live should be take place on Saturday, February 17th at 12pm EST or Sunday 18th at 11am EST.
Keep your eyes open for it !

We've just wrapped up the live for the first 9 chapters of Catch-22.
For next week, we will have to read up to chapter 18.
Just like last week, Alberto is going to ask us to choose whether the live should be on
Saturday, February 24th at 12pm EST
or
Sunday 25th at 11am EST.

How are you ?
We've just finished the last live for Lord of The Flies by William Golding.
The next book we will be discussing is The Handmaid's Tale, by Margaret Atwood.
We need to read the introduction for the next live, which will be held some time at the end of the week (maybe Friday).
Alberto is having some personal issues right now and had to cut the live short. I'll try to post an update as soon as I can, when the time and day will be more precise.
Also, another little update: this summer , the bookclub will go on a break, as Alberto will be travelling a lot.

As you may have noticed by the lack of updates and lives, Rosende Reads is on break for the summer.
But today, we got some news ! During his panel at The Hunters of Shadows 2 —the Shadowhunters convention in Paris (France)—, Alberto announced that Rosende Reads will be back in September , and the first book we will discuss will be:
The Handmaid's Tale, by Margaret Atwood.
