However, he was, surprisingly, actually glad he had practiced with Kae. He had managed to learn some of the moves, and could execute some of them too. He wasn't sure if it would do him any good, since they weren't very strong techniques yet, but Shin would be lying if he said he wasn't excited about them. He'd never been taught how to fight in his life, after all. It was exciting to begin learning it now.
He was grateful towards Kae, and secretly hoped she would offer to teach him some more another time. They would be harder, he was sure, but it had been a long time since he'd been excited about anything, and he didn't want it to end so soon. He was almost tempted to abandon his plans to read just to train some more with her, and he might have done it too, if he weren't pretty tired already. He would leave it for another day.
He glanced down at Kaelan curiously as they walked together, wondering what she planned to do now. He imagined it wouldn't be all that fun for her to hang around him as he read, since he tended to immerse himself in his books and block out everything else. Though if she chose to stay with him, he would go out of his way to pay his attention to her instead of his books. As to why, he wasn't quite sure, but he supposed it must be because he was beginning to care for her more.
Kae was practically glowing. Her passion was teaching these kinds of things to people, helping people and shaping young minds. It was such a wonderful feeling to have. It was something she hadn't felt in a bit. Sure, she sometimes sparred with others in the prison but many of the people here knew how to fight [even if it wasn't too good] they had the basics down. So being given the chance to help Shin learn something completely new and see how hard he worked to learn it. it was what made teaching worth it. She could tell he was tired, hence she was glad that they arranged it only to be some of the time during his break. He didn't have the stamina and too much overuse of unused muscles would only hurt him and put him in harm's way later on. However, despite that, she could also tell, that just slightly, he had fun. It was that that had her in such a brilliant mood. Even though her shoulder still hurt, she felt that she could take on the world with this feeling.
Kae looked over up at Shin when she felt his stare and beamed at him. "Off to reading now then-" she cut herself off when she heard something behind them. She turned to see someone stumbling around with a huge pile of books in papers. She patted Shin's arm, "I'll catch up with you in a bit, better be reading when I see you," she teased with a wink before she rushed off to go help them. She easily caught the wiggling tower in place with an arm before taking half of it. "See ya later Shin!" she bid before she followed the other person to their destination.

He turned around when he heard the noise as well, knowing the moment that he caught sight of the person that Kae would not be accompanying him for now. He knew one of her kindest virtues was the fact that she always helped people, regardless of her own condition, and knew before Kae had even moved that she would soon join the person and help them carry the books to their destination.
He watched her walk away, waving back at her till she was out of sight. He stared at the empty hall a little longer, then turned and began making his way back to the infirmary, book in hand. He figured he could sit outside the door till his shift started, since there was no way Shin would ever start work early. He always avoided it as much as possible till the very last minute.
He walked down the hall now, his eyes following the paragraphs before him. It would seem he was quite immersed in it, and risking colliding into someone, but Shin had learned (due to years of having his reading habit) to focus on his book and avoid people passing by at the same time (since he didn't want to bump into anyone and risk conflict), so he no longer fretted over it.
It had been two days, two full days and Nye had not had sex. Normally, this wouldn't be shocking or surprising for most people but for Nye, a sex addict who literally start getting intense pain if he doesn't have sex... This was an issue.
After escaping the infirmary where the doctors could do shit to help him since it wasn't physical pain, he was stumbling down the hall towards his block. The only way those fucking doctors could help him is if one of them was willing to go down with him. Eventually, leaning against the wall, he was unable to go on and just slide to the floor. He clung to the wall, eyes closed, shuddering and flushed. It was rather erotic despite him being in pain.
He was still there by the time Shin happened to come by. Hearing the sound of footsteps, Nye's golden eyes shot open and he glanced over. Desperation made a man quite crazy. Before he knew it, he practically lunged at Shin, wrapping himself around his arm. Nye may have been an inch taller, by with him barely on his knees had him looking up at Shin. "Hey, handsome. I can show you a very good time," he breathed his voice a sexy drawl. The guy oozed sex appeal without even trying, but basically double that by 2 at this point.

Unfortunately for him, it did not seem the other man thought the same.
Shin nearly jumped out of his skin when the man suddenly grabbed onto him, and his book clattered to the floor from his surprise, his eyes wide open as he stared down at the gold eyed man. He was very peculiar looking, with bright blue hair and gold eyes, which normally Shin would've been inclined to stare at for at least a few moments, but right now he was more focused on the man's words. Which, he soon realized, he didn't have the slightest idea how to reply to. In fact, he didn't know how to respond to this entire situation at all. He barely registered why the other was in such a condition, and was currently attempting to analyze why he was in as discreet a manner as he could manage.
"I... um.. I-I... have to get to my workplace... I have a shift soon..." He mumbled apathetically, looking away quietly. For the moment, he attempted to create at least a few inches difference between them by trying to back away, as he was normally uncomfortable with too-close proximity.
Unfortunately for Shin, he wasn't able to distance himself from Nye. The slightly framed guy was surprisingly strong and his grip on Shin's arm did not falter in the slightest. He was trembling against the other man. He needed sex, he didn't care if it meant doing him or him doing Nye. Whatever did the job was enough for him. However, Nye being a talented prostitute could even tell in this state that Shin was not going to be an easy victim and he didn't have enough time to sweet talk all the way into his pants.
On shaky legs, Nye stood at his full height, about an inch taller than Shin and pressed his hot body against him. "This won't take too long, I promise," he brushed, his hot breath on Shin's ear before he took the lobe between his teeth to gently tug.
"Spare me a moment, please," he begged huskily, desperate enough to hypnotize the man if he continued to deny him. Nye was a guy with class, he didn't like nonconsensual sex but when push comes to shove, he'd just give that little push the guy needed. Nye can't trick someone into doing something they entirely did not want to do. Just a persuasion.
((short I know, sorry. just gotta stretch this enough for Kae to finish and regroup xD time frames))

Shin noticed quite quickly that the man was trembling violently, and most certainly not in any good condition. Hesitantly, Shin considered helping him. Regardless of his dislike for troublesome situations, he was still a medic, so he figured he ought to help people.
So, Shin decided to help him. That is, until he felt the man pushing himself against him, and biting his earlobe, in which he instantly abandoned this thought. Instead, he decided he was going to get the hell out of there before this escalated too far beyond his reach. But it was a bit difficult to bluntly deny the man, especially considering he was begging so earnestly.
He shifted uncomfortably in place. ".. I-I.. really don't think I can spare that much time.." He murmured, that being the only excuse he could come up with.
^^
Nye pulled his head back, his hand coming up across Shin's chest from his arm to cup the further side of Shin's face. Turning his head to look directly at Nye's intoxicating golden eyes. "Don't be afraid," he purred, tracing Shin's lips. Under normal circumstances, Nye would still totally want to get into this guy's pants. He was quite attractive. Something to savour but right now, he didn't have that time. He needed him and he needed him right now.
Nye's nose was nearly touching Shin's at this point. The concept of personal space was nonexistent to a guy like him. Every move he made, breath he took and expression he gave was seductive. He was a made that lived as sex appeal.
However, it was his eyes, eyes of liquid gold that entrapped and ensnared people with willpower that was faint. "You have the time," he purred, his gaze hypnotic, matching with his sombering voice that instead of seducing was guiding. Waves of water that was slowly sweeping one further and further from shore. "You want to help me, you just have to follow me and fix me. Only you can cure me."

Shin never had a strong will or mindset. It wasn't too difficult to sweep him along in things, as mentally, he wasn't very powerful. His self esteem messed with a strong mentality more than one would think, thus resulting in an easily-swayed will, despite Shin's cynical nature. It was one of his flaws, really.
Therefore, it came as no surprise to himself that he was having an exceedingly hard time ignoring Nye's words, and soon, was shivering with dizziness. His gaze dropped from Nye's, since he was too drowsy to keep his head up, and though he said nothing in reply, he made no move to deny him again either.
"Is that a yes?' Nye tempted, urging the man to give verbal consent. It was official if it was verbal. During which, Nye began to guide Shin back the way he came, aiming for an unlocked room further away from authority. If they were found by the doctors, it would become rather troublesome for the prostitute. It took a bit to find an unlocked room, they were rather good at keeping people in line like that.
Fortunately for Nye, who could only last for so long at this point, he opened a door and pulled Shin into the room with him, closing and locking the door behind him before he pushed Shin down onto the nearest flat surface. "Hope you don't mind it a little rough but I can't wait," Nye purred and was already working on his pants. No time like the present and he was desperate. It fucken hurt like his insides was on fire.
It wasn't going well for Shin in the slightest. At this pace, he was going to be raped.
It would be concerning if Shin was in the right state of mind but Nye was a fast worker and his hypnosis should remain intact as long as nothing didn't snap him out of it. Nye was nearly there to any extent when the door cracked completely open, shattering to pieces. The noise was startling, loud enough to be heard on the entire floor. Kae marched in over the broken pieces and dust, her eyes narrowed at Nye. She'd finished helping the guy and was making her way when she caught glimpse of Shin slipping into a room. Knowing it wasn't his room or the infirmary, she was confused only to find it locked.
Nye groaned, pushing away from Shin. Fortunately, underwear was still a thing as well as mostly pants. "We are busy sugar, please leave until we've finished."

He was allowing himself to be swept along but he did not have the thought to realize it. That is, until a very loud cracking noise resounded within the room and snapped him back to reality. His eyes flashed to Nye first, since they were closer, and then to Kae. It was when he saw Kae that he seemed to remember that he'd just finished a self defense session with her. Without so much as a word, he reached out and wrapped his hands around Nye's wrist. He sat up slightly and suddenly moved forward at a surprisingly quick pace, disturbing Nye's balance. The moment Nye tipped forward after losing his balance, Shin tightened his grip on the man's wrist and spun his own body around at an angle, thus flinging Nye in the opposite direction. Just the way Kae had taught him. It wasn't enough to hurt Nye of course, as Shin would never be able to harm anyone in his current state, but it was enough to put some distance between the two. Under normal circumstances, he would have felt compelled to feel proud of himself for perfectly executing what Kae had taught him, but at the moment, he simply felt regret. He stared at Nye worriedly.
"S-sorry, I didn't mean to.. Um... are you alright?"
Kae's eyes widened when he did that but like a proud mother bird, she raced over and squealed. Her fury from earlier almost entirely disappearing. "That was perfectly executed!" she praised him, going on her tiptoes to pet his head. She didn't know what was just happening or anything of the like but after praising Shin, she too turned her attention to Nye.
He had not expected Shin to throw him like that so he was whipped around like a ragdoll. He was not a fighter, never really ever was. He had no strength of speed or any combat affinity at all. That and he was already in bodily distress.
"Fucken peachy," Nye hissed, his temper spiked. He was in pain and his mind in complete disarray. "I love being thrown around like a careless child's toy. "
Kae raised a brow at his sass but went over to him. She crouched down, which didn't make that much of a difference, and put her wrist on his forehead. Nye leaned into the touch like a cat in heat, his eyes closing. "He feels kind of warm," she voiced, glancing at Shin before back at Nye. She moved her hand away to do up his pants for him, unfazed by it. Three older brothers and all.
"I am not impressed by what you were trying to pull so explain to us why," Kae voiced, her tone threatening. If not for Nye's pathetic display, she probably would have punched the guy for trying to take advantage of Shin. She was still going to make sure he was punished for it but she liked knowing the reason why. It wouldn't make a difference that he did something wrong but he seemed to be troubled hence why she asked.
She moved back, mainly because she was not a doctor and because Nye did try to come at her. It was a small movement, unnoticeable but Kae's experience had her moving from his reach before he could try anything.
"I don't have to tell you-" he suddenly cut himself off, curling into the fetus position and whimpered in pain. It was mainly psychological but it didn't change the fact that he needed to remedy this pain he was feeling. No matter the cost.

He strolled over to where Kae and Nye were, staring down at the inmate quietly. "I think.. we should get him to the infirmary for now.." He suggested softly. He wasn't sure what help it would be, as he was slowly beginning to recognize what Nye's condition was due to, but it didn't hurt to try. Plus he didn't have any other ideas.
"No!" Nye suddenly shouted, his hand whipping up to grasp his bicep. His grip was surprisingly tight, to express his pain and desperation. Unintentionally of course. "They can't do shit- fuck the fucken doctors. Stupid fucken-idiots," his voice got more and more strained as he continued to talk. His grip weakened and he slumped against the ground once again. Breathing laboured but he realized he wasn't going to get anywhere with them. He could tell at first glance, no type of hypnosis was going to work on Kae and with her around, he can't do shit to Shin. He needed someone else, anyone else. Just someone that he can fuck or they can fuck him. He didn't care, he never did. He used Kae to get onto his feet and headed to the door- well where the door had been using the wall as support. He was wasting time.
Kae got up and whipped around, her arms crossed over her chest. "Where do you think you're going? You're suffering and can barely walk-"
"No thanks to him," Nye snapped in retort, sucking in a sharp breath but continued until he was at the doorframe.
Kae blatantly ignored that comment and continued, "not to mention you need to be reprimanded for trying to take advantage of someone."
"Just fuck off unless you want to have sex with me," Nye snapped, glaring at her. It was quite a humorous picture. Kae who basically looked like a little girl who stood there scolding a lanky guy that looked like a temperamental kitten.

He moved to stand beside Kae now, his gaze fixed on Nye. "There are pills at the infirmary.. painkillers and hormone suppressants. They'll help you for a while, I think.. the pain will be gone." He suggested quietly, his tone hesitant but honest, as he genuinely was offering to help Nye. Which was sort of a compliment to the man, as Shin rarely ever offered others aid outside of his work hours. Besides to Kae, that is.
Nye's sharp golden gaze snapped to Shin when he spoke. Kae and him had been having a stare down, neither one of them willing to bow out. Both of them were surprisingly stubborn. Well, Kae was no surprise but the prostitute was the main issue in that scenario.
Kae wasn't one to put any value on sex. She had never really been in a relationship and considering the reason she was in this place... she was handling this situation quite well. It did seem consensual if anyone else had seen it but since Kae knew Shin well enough to know he wouldn't do something like that, it made her aware of what was really going down earlier.
Nye seemed to hesitate at the offer. He was in a lot of pain right now and anything that would prolong it, even by a little bit, enough so that he could find a partner and actually have an enjoyable time seemed like a pretty good deal to him. However, he wasn't sure if it would work and thus making the situation that much worse due to how much time he would have wasted. It was a risk but at this point, something he was willing to risk. Nye bit his lip, the action unintentionally sensual before he replied. "Fine... but no funny business," he threatened. "I don't want anyone else knowing about this," he added, brows furrowed. He really didn't like the doctors in this place. Sure he had only met a few that were useless assholes in his opinion but it didn't matter to him. Lab coats were sexy, but fucked up in the head doctors weren't.
Kae grinned, "excellent," she stated, going over to Nye who she easily picked up and put on her shoulder. It was quite funny since Nye had struggled at first but didn't really have any effort to do so. That and he was there needing to fold his legs since she was too short to do it properly. Nye would have been more embarrassed if he wasn't in pain so he just nuzzled into the heat she provided and grumbled a warning about her better not dropping him.
"Lead the way, Shin," she said, looking at him. She was quite proud, he was going out of his way to be helpful! It sounded condescending but the way Kae was seeing it wasn't so. Knowing how he was and how this situation was definitely high on the troublesome scales, she was proud that he was offering a suggestion to him. Though, she will make sure the guy gets what he deserves for putting her poor Shin in that type of situation and try to think of a way for Shin to avoid that sort of situation again.

He walked by Kae's side, leading the way, but his curious gaze was mostly on Kae and Nye. It was amusing watching them really; Kae, who stood at 4 foot nothing, carrying a a man nearly 2 feet taller than herself. He was a little concerned for Nye, and genuinely hoped Kae would not drop him, though even if she did, it would be a very short fall, so it wouldn't be all that bad.
He walked ahead of them to the door of the infirmary and held it open for Kae and Nye to go in first.
((I just realized that your characters have been rping with two of my shortest characters xD need to pop Devin in there to average it out. She's 6'2" xD))
Nye didn't really think Shin was a doctor-doctor. Assumed he was some sort of assistant or something that had access to that shit. Otherwise, he would have rejected and would have taken his chances on hunting down some other prey to feast on.
No matter, he was there hanging over Kae's shoulder. He was surprised to find that she was surprisingly built. He just assumed she was one of those weirdos with superhuman strength but she seemed to actually have some muscles built into her. It was kind of hot. Sex was almost always the first thing on the guy's mind. He didn't want to fall, no matter how short the distance, so he made sure not to struggle too much or remain stiff. It was hard to relax while being in pain but he was internally thankful that he didn't need to walk all the way there. He wouldn't have made it.
However, what he didn't expect was the lecture that was drilled into his ears during their travel to the infirmary. So annoying. How did this guy handle her?!
True to Nye's word, after Shin began to guide them off to the infirmary. Once Nye was secure, she began lecturing the guy about proper consent and why it's wrong to take advantage of anyone in a delirious state. If the person is not of right mind, they cannot give consent, no matter how old they are. She continued until they reached the infirmary, intent on drilling this into the prostitute's head. She still wasn't going to let him go with just this. She'd be telling his building's guard about the incident so he would be punished orderly and properly. She knew some buildings did different things so she wasn't sure what they would do in this sort of situation. Hence, relying on their input in the punishment.
Thanking Shin, she entered and went over to the nearest surface to set Nye down carefully onto it. The blue haired guy was in a ball the next second with his eyes squeezed closed. His hand which wrist was wrapped with watches grasped the charm on his necklace tight enough to turn his white skin even whiter.

Shin had known somewhere in the back of his mind that Nye would no doubt be receiving a lecture from Kae; he'd known the moment he saw her reaction to him back in the prior room. Nevertheless, it still came as a surprise because although she was speaking generally, she was still thinking of Shin in it. Shin was no stranger to receiving lectures for another, he'd experienced it often enough with his father and uncle in the past, but he was certainly a stranger to another receiving lectures for him. It gave off a feeling of defense or protection, which, even if it was Kae, always came as a shock to Shin when directed towards him, since he wasn't at all accustomed to such feelings, and had rarely felt them in his past.
Though Nye may have saw the lecture as reason enough for one to not want to be around Kae, Shin saw it as reason to stay with Kae, regardless of her nature.
He walked in after Kae, making his way over to the cabinets before anything else to fetch the promised pills. He filled a glass with water and then strolled over to where Nye lay, holding the cup and pills out to him quietly.
((O.O really? xD She's quite the character. In this circumstance, possibly injured and wanting someone to get rid of the blood [in for murders but she doesn't like blood] ^^ she's a really friendly girl- an ability of lure which has people and animals calm and unconsciously drawn to her))
With Kae's help, he managed to sit up on the surface to take the glass and pills from him. He hesitated for a moment, glaring at them and at Shin suspiciously but a spike of sudden pain had him downing the pills in an instant. Gulping the drink down as well. He felt heated, something he was used to feeling when in this condition. It was like his entire body was preparing for some intense sex.
A few moments passed and Nye moved away from Kae. "Well thanks, but this isn't overly working so I need to find my next partner." The pain had at least lessened to the point Nye was able to ignore it but he knew it wouldn't last. Nothing doctors did ever did. "I will be getting consent in the traditional fashion," he added, a little snidely when he caught Kae's gaze on him.
"Not so fast," Kae stated, her hand resting on him to stop him from sliding off. "I need your name and building," she requested. Well, it was more of a demand and anyone that knew Kaelan would know she wasn't going to budge an inch until she got what she wanted.
Nye's golden gaze narrowed, brows furrowed and lips pursed in irritation. he didn't want to tell her anything and tried to leave anyway but found he couldn't push past the girl's arm. He knew he was a weak person but it was still hard for him to wrap his mind around the fact that this puny girl was strong. It wasn't as if she didn't break down a door in front of him or anything.
Clenching his jaw for a moment, he spoke. "Fucken James Bond in building 7," he drawled sarcastically. Clearly, by Kae's expression, she didn't care for whatever kind of joke he was trying to pull.
He glanced at Shin to see if he was any help but decided that was useless. "Nye Laird, building 9. Now excuse me," he said. This time, she moved her arm to allow him down and he quickly rushed to the door. He turned back to them when he opened the door, smirking and winked. "Maybe next time sugar," he purred, waving a goodbye at Shin before he was gone.
"I will need to tell the guards in building nine to keep an eye on their occupants," Kae murmured to herself, a hand on her chin.

Sure, that'll work :3 I don't know if her ability will work with Shin but we can try it out. ))
Shin noticed Nye's suspicious glance but held his ground anyways, waiting patiently till the other took the cup and pill from him. Once he'd gulped them down, Shin took the cup and set it aside, turning back to stare at Nye, curious of its affects on him.
When Nye was able to stand up and walk on his own, Shin relaxed in relief, glad it had worked.
He stood a little ways from the other two when Kae stopped Nye from leaving, having expected it. Kae never let anyone whom she'd scolded get away easily, so he'd known she was going to stop him. He had almost been tempted to warn Nye of it earlier, but hadn't found the guts to do so.
He met Nye's glance blankly, a hint of amusement in his eyes, though as Nye predicted, he made no move to help. Even he had little effect on Kae when she became like this. No use wasting energy trying.
After Nye finally stated the truth, and Kae allowed him to pass, Shin's gaze followed the man to the door. When he waved at him, Shin couldn't hide a flicker of amazement in his expression; if he had been expecting anything from Nye, it had been a glare, certaintly not a wave. Hesitantly, he waved back, watching the door close behind him. As soon as Nye was out of earshot, he glanced down at Kae and asked in a curious and innocent tone: "How'd you know his name wasn't James Bond?"
((I have it written more intelligently on her profile xD It's a pheromone that stimulates the desire to be closer to her. Aka, she smells really good xD
Can't wait! She probably won't start any conflict though so there is that xD unless someone attacks her))
Kae was muttering a bit to herself when he glanced at her and asked that. She paused, blinking at the ground then she turned to look at him. Her mouth was a bit agape incredulously. Taking a look at his face, she then did a mix between and scowl and a pout before smacking him as light as she could on his arm. "Stop being a smart ass," she sassed but was grinning despite her 'angered' tone. She then chuckled, her arm coming up to cover her mouth as she bellowed. She just couldn't take it seriously at all.
Eventually, when she calmed down, she did respond to his 'question'. "If he was James Bond, then I am Sherlock Homes," she informed him with her hands on her hips and a grin on her lips.
It didn't stay peaceful like this for long. A few moments later, the door opened wide and an inmate along with a guard came barreling in. The inmate was a female who was incredibly tall, standing over 6 foot. Wearing pastel coloured clothes, a big strawberry sweater and a cute skirt, with no shoes on her feet. She had soft lavender eyes and big, long bushy hair. She was really pretty, almost seemingly angelic in appearance and presence. However, the most noticeable trait about the woman besides her height, was the purely white horns peeking out of her hair, the tail that flicked around behind her and the blood dripping down her almost snow coloured leg.
She was leaning against the guard who helped her into the infirmary, looking anywhere but at her leg.
Kae leapt into action without hesitation. She went over to the guard and asked what happened while moving to help bring the girl over to a bed. It was an odd sight since she was a lot of inches shorter than the other girl but that wasn't going to stop Kaelan.
"What happened? Is this the only injury? How deep and how long since it happened?" she asked in rapid fire to the guard.
"Rioting in building 1, she was cut a few centimetres deep by another inmate. Happened about 15 minutes ago."
The girl grasped onto Kae's shoulder, looking into her eyes with her own teary lavender ones. "Please stop the blood. I hate blood. Please," she begged before squeezing her eyes shut.

Shin watched Kae blankly, a hint of confusion in his expression. Her laugh was nice, he noted, despite its volume.
"But Sherlock Holmes is a man," he felt compelled to point out. It took him a moment to realize she was joking, and yet another moment to realize Nye had been doing the same, and then felt quite stupid, so he turned and stared at the far wall in embarrassment.
Fortunately, he didn't have much time to dwell on his insensibility, as only a few moments later the door to the infirmary swung open and two figures stepped inside. Shin's gaze fell on the woman first; it was nearly impossible not to notice her first, with her bold and bright color palette, height, and most of all, the ear that poked out from her head and the tail that moved behind her.
Shin himself wasn't short, but looking at her, he did feel himself shrinking in height. If he felt that way, he couldn't imagine what Kae, who was a full two meters shorter than Shin, felt gazing up at her. He sincerely hoped Kae would not injure her neck craning it to look up at the inmate.
Once Kae had helped the woman onto the bed, Shin made his way over to her, standing near the bed. He studied her wound silently, and after a moment's hesitation, reluctantly asked: "Would you mind if I treated it?"
((Shin is so precious and I am here fucking dying [ of laughter] xD))
His comment did two things for Kae. First, it made her realize he was no kidding in the least about his question earlier and second, that realization combined with his words had her barreling into another fit of laughter. He was too funny, unintentionally but nonetheless all the same.
Her laughter did have to come to a quick end, even after noticing the fact he had realized his mistake. Which was equally adorable and funny at the same time. It reminded her of one of her brothers to be quite honest. When the woman and guard came in.
Once she was seated, Kae took the woman's larger hand with her own two for her to squeeze. If Kae was a smart woman, cause she wasn't overly so, she would have made some sort of inquiry about the fact that this woman didn't seem to like blood was an occupant of building 1?
Instead, Kae turned to look at the guard. "Mantadory prisoner information?" she requested. She seemed unusually well versed in how things were done at the infirmary. She did go there rather often enough to know plus the few visits with Shin during his shifts. She picked up on those sort of things quickly.
Meanwhile, the woman shook her head. "Go ahead," she told him with a pained but kind smile. It was good that Kae was as strong as she was. Otherwise, the fact that this larger woman who had quite the strength behind her would have crushed her hands by how hard she was holding it. She really did hate blood. It wasn't a fear but the wound was also rather painful.
"Devin Pandora, ability immortality which causes her healing factor to be slowed down almost double from a regular person's," the guard said, listed what they needed to know about her at the time.
"Please call me Devin or Vinny," said girl pitched afterwards.

Shin was intrigued that the guard was answering Kae's questions so faithfully, mostly because she too was an inmate and it wasn't often you saw guards sharing that sort of information with prisoners. But then again, Kae had proven herself on more than one occasion to have a strong sense of justice, so it could be that guards had simply learned she only meant good.
He didn't really focus on what the guard had to say about the inmate before him anyways, he was more concerned with the woman's wound. As soon as he was granted permission by her, he came over with a clean cloth that looked to have been dipped in a liquid. He bent over her thigh, cleaning the wound and wiping away excess blood as gently as he could, which was hard considering he was applying direct pressure. Once he'd cleaned up the area, he rubbed an ointment over her injury and finally bandaged it firmly. He stepped back, surveying his work quietly. The blood was gone at least, so he hoped that would calm her down. The pain would subside eventually.
"I don't think you need stitches, so that should do."
((no promises ;P))
The guard wasn't one that often visited the infirmary and they honestly had no clue that Kaelan was an inmate. She wasn't wearing a traditional prison uniform and they were in the infirmary taking control of the situation so they just assumed he was some sort of assistant or something. It was really naive but in this situation, there was probably a lot more pressing matters on their mind than whether or not Kaelan was a prisoner.
Kae found that piece of information rather ironic. Here she was helping out a taller woman who healed slowly while here she was, short and healed faster than the normal person. It was quite humorous. Nonetheless, to distract the girl from Shin who dealt with the wound, Kae talked to her.
"That's a nice name. I think I will call you Vinny," she told her with a grin, "you can just call me Kae," she introduced herself.
Still gripping her hand tightly, Devin smiled right back at her, a bright and friendly smile. Hell, everything about her had Kae liking her.
"I'd like that," she chirped. Devin loved making new friends. It was so saddening that she was in a building with a bunch of people who weren't all that friendly. Not many of them wanted to be friends with her and she didn't want to push them in that matter.
When he finally finished up, Devin looked down and grinned happily. She then, very suddenly, wrapped her arms around him and hugged him. Her tail was whipping in a happy frenzy behind her, almost hitting Kae in the face. "Thank you so much!" she said and pulled back. She glanced back at Kae and sheepishly apologized for her tail, grasping ahold of it. "Sorry, sometimes it just has a mind of its own," she said with a giggle.

While he'd been working on her injury, Shin could not deny that he did find her aura very welcoming and friendly, and her scent did make him curious to hang out with her again. But because he was Shin, and making friends or accepting others did not come easy for him, he tossed this thought away and replaced it with a determination to keep his distance and suspicion. It was already miracle enough that he'd managed to befriend Kae, he couldn't imagine befriending another.
He was focusing on these thoughts that ran through his head, and catching snippets here and there of her and Kae's conversation, when she, very suddenly, hugged him. Not having had time to move back, and since he couldn't now with her arms around him, he froze in place, tensing. He probably would've stayed that way during the whole hug had it not been for Devin's peculiar scent, which strangely enough, managed to relax Shin so much that he wasn't as stiff anymore. He didn't hug her back, but he didn't pull away either till she did, so that probably meant a lot considering his usual behavior.
He took a step back when she pulled away, putting a bit of distance between them. His face was a little flushed, which was something entirely new.
"You're.. welcome.." he murmured.
((Mhmmmm then I might just promise ^^))
Kae was surprised to see that the taller woman didn't really have any concept of personal space. Well, Kae was honestly, often the very same way but the fact she was able to hug him without Shin getting out of it immediately after was something trophy worthy. She clearly must be someone if she was able to achieve that feat, especially to the point that he was flushed. It was so cute, she could just pinch his cheeks. She wouldn't though, she knew some boundaries. It didn't stop her from stifling a laugh as subtle as she could, which wasn't very subtle.
Fortunately, the distraction of her tail was enough to cover that up, besides her amused grin. "Don't worry about it.... but can I ask.... is it actually real?" Kae asked bluntly, staring at the thing. She'd seen some odd things in this prison but tails were something that she had yet to wrap her head around.
Devin had given Shin a bright smile when he answers before she developed into Kae's comment with a shy expression. "Yeah, it is... do you not like it?" she asked, the tail slowly coming closer to her body.
"No! It's lovely, I just never seen anything like it... and your horns?" Kae asked nodding up to them. She had to crane her neck a bit but the sight was too fascinating not to do as little as that. A horn on a human, that was something she doubted she would ever see in her life again.
Devin was blushing with a bashful smile on her lips. "Thank you, they are," she confirmed and without a second thought, bent down to her knees. "Want to feel?" she asked. Devin loved it when people weren't scared of her horns. People seemed to like tails but that plus the horns had people thinking of demons. She didn't really understand the notion of demons but this girl was very nice, helping her when she was hurt and the boy too. He tended to her wound even though he could have left her to endure to see if she was worthy of surviving from it. They were both very nice and she hoped to befriend them.
She glanced over at Shin then, "you can too if you want," she said, the big smile still placed on her lips earnestly.
Kae didn't hesitate after getting permission from Vinny. She was a curious girl and wanted to confirm for herself the reality of them. Stroking it, Kae's eyes widened in surprise. They were very real and very much attached to her head. It was pretty cool. She looked at Shin, eyes big with awe and a large grin growing on her lips. "So cool," she told him.
It was those words that had Devin trickling with giggles. Her wound still hurt her of course but she was not one unfamiliar with pain. That and she knew she would be feeling it for a while so it wasn't something to overly dread upon. Healing at a reduced pace was quite troubling but it was for that reason she usually took such care in ensuring it didn't happen. She'd been surprised earlier so there wasn't anything to do but learn from that. Those who didn't learn will never survive.

Shin was pretty interested in the horns too honestly, and found himself peering closely at them in curiosity as Kae felt them. He didn't interact with others much, so it wasn't often he came upon people that were so unique. The only person he could recall was the adopted child of the doctor he worked alongside with, who had a tail and ears (which Shin had very much liked). Horns were something new and fascinating. In fact, he was so interested in them that the flush on his cheeks disappeared almost instantly, his skin going back to being as pale as ever (which was quite pale).
Shin hesitated in touching the horns, even when given permission by Devin and watching Kae's expression, simply because that was a little out of his comfort zone. But at the same time, his curiosity was growing by the second, and he felt it would torture him if he did not satisfy it. Slowly, he reached out and gently stroked one of the horns, his eyes brightening up just as much as Kae's when she had done it. Intrigued, he continued brushing his fingers over it, forgetting his earlier nervousness.
Kae had returned to poke the tip of the horn, finding it shockingly sharp that it had almost immediately broken through some layers of her skin if she hadn't pulled away quickly enough. However, the texture had Kae running her thumb against it a few more times. Most horns, for animals, were roughly textured, often unique cuts and bumps. However, Devin's horns were smooth, not a bump nor scratch and a very pure colour except the pinkening near the bottom.
Kae had her curiosity satisfied and could safely say that she had an experience of a lifetime. Her fathers would never believe her if she told them about this. It also made her understand why people often wanted to use horns as material. It was built sturdy and sharp. A good weapon despite the fact that this girl looked like she couldn't even hurt a fly.
Pulling back, she crossed her arms over her chest, a comfortable position Kae was often in and turned to look at Shin to see him absolutely enamoured. Kae paused, watching him for a bit. Evitably, she found him very adorable. That and it was a rare opportunity to see him look so interested in something, enough to cease his awkwardness for a little while. Despite, it took a lot of willpower and stubbornness to keep Kae from cracking. She wanted to laugh at how it looked. Devin was couched there, eyes closed with a happy but amused smile on her lips while Shin seemed very lost in his own world. She couldn't help but picture it as a cat lover that isn't allowed to have a cat finally being given the opportunity to pet one.
Kae felt like she was going to break but when her mind shifted to it being a challenge, it wasn't something she was going to lose it. Thus, resulted in Kae's expression becoming very unusual in her attempt to keep herself from smiling or laughing. It was to the point that when Devin opened her eyes and saw Kae, she immediately burst into an uncontrollable fit of giggles.

It was to the point that when Devin opened her eyes and saw Kae, she immediately burst into an uncontrollable fit of giggles.

He didn't stay like that too long however, maybe a minute or two at most. When he finally snapped back to reality, he quickly pulled his hand away and stepped back, instantly feeling bad for making her have to crouch down like that for so long, especially considering her thigh probably still hurt from that injury.
"S-sorry..." He murmured guiltily. "I didn't mean to.."
He turned to Kae with a silent plea of help, but instead if meeting the usual cheerful but relatively calm Kae, he saw Kae with an unusual (and humorous) look on her face. It took him a moment to realize she was trying not to laugh or smile, and soon, when that was combined with Devin's laughter, he couldn't help but crack the faintest of smiles. Kae always brightened the mood; he'd already forgotten about his guilt. He looked away, that tiny smile still on his lips. Sadly, it didn't stay there too long, and only moments later it was again replaced by his impassive expression, but his complexion was much brighter.
His apology went right out the window. Devin wouldn't have really wanted it anyway. She was the one who offered so it was her own fault. Plus, she was no stranger to pain, unfortunately. No matter, she was too distracted by how Kae was trying so hard not to smile or laugh that she was dying. When Shin had moved back, Devin was soon laying on the ground, curled up with arms around her abdomen from giggling too much. She just couldn't stop, every time her sight cleared up enough to see, she'd see Kae's expression again and go into another fit. It was getting rather hard to breathe. Devin never knew that laughter could be such a weapon! So dangerous.
Kae, on the other hand, was rather oblivious to the fact Devin was practically dying on the floor. She was way too concentrated on winning. However, what broke her concentration when she caught a glimpse of something very shocking to her. She had seen Shin have a smile in his eyes before but it was something that had yet to reach to his lips. However, seeing the barest of smiles briefly on her friend's lips had her frozen. She had forgotten her mission and instead looked at Shin with widened eyes. However, after a moment, his expression already tucked away, a smile broke through her resolve.
She never asked him about his past, it was the one thing she didn't nose her way into yet. However, she could tell it influenced him enough not to willingly show much emotion or trust people. So, seeing that had her determined to get him to smile. To have him breaking into a beaming grin. She couldn't really picture it but she'd see that is was done to the best of their ability.
Blinking out of her thoughts, she realized Devin had become quiet and was still on the floor. Kae went over and offered the woman a hand. She gave her a big smile as she helped Devin up onto her feet, providing something for her to briefly lean against until she had herself balanced.
"Thank you!" Devin chirped and looked at Shin as if she realized something. Her expression began one of this eyes wide and mouth in an O shape. "I don't think I got your name," she told him.

He turned to Kae, to see how she was reacting to it, nd though at first he was met by the same funny look on her face, soon, she glanced back at him with wide eyes and a big smile. Shin gave her a confused look and tilted his head to the side faintly, unsure why she'd suddenly became so happy and amazed, and as if inquiring why. He didn't ask aloud though, since he didn't feel the need to, and since maybe it was just because of Devin.
Speaking of Devin, he turned to meet her gaze when she addressed him. He'd noticed from the beginning that he'd never told her, but he'd just figured she didn't particularly care to know.
"Sh-Shinobu," he murmured.
Devin gave him a big smile, something that was soft and happy. "That's a very nice name," she said and peered at him closer, "does it have any special meaning? I know humans like to give meanings to names," she said, glancing at Kaelan as if to have her verify that fact.
Kaelan raised a brow but ended up shrugging but looked at Shin curiously to hear his response. She didn't know if her name had any special meaning since she never knew her real parents but if there was something behind Shin's name it would be cool to know.
Either way, Devin fixed her skirt and clasped her hands together. "I hope this makes us friends," she said and then moved over to Kae to hug him. "I'd love to meet you again," she stated, releasing the woman she completely dwarfed before she went over to Shin but hesitated. Chuckling softly, she held out a hand instead for a handshake. He had not overly liked the hug from before, she was adapt enough to realize that.

He did know the meaning behind his name, though as for the matter of it being a "special meaning" he didn't know. He doubted he'd ever asked his parents before and it was far too late to do so now.
"I... do not know if it has any sort of "special meaning" behind it.." he began truthfully, then added in a low murmur: "But.. I know that 'Shinobu' means endurance and remembrance."
When Devin spoke again, he regarded her words with interest, though as per usual, said nothing in response. He wasn't sure if he could befriend her, befriending Kae had been hard enough. But, he could not lie, he was a bit interested to see if he could. He never had friends growing up, so he certainly wouldn't mind making friends, even if it would be difficult (with his cynicism and all). Normally, he would have doubted her, thinking she had some sort of ulterior motive to the suggestion. But he honestly could not see what she could possibly get out befriending him, and besides, hanging around Kae had gradually taught to be a bit more forgiving of people. Before, he would have never given anyone the benefit of the doubt, but now, however slightly, he could.
He hesitated a moment when she extended her hand toward him, but eventually reached out and clasped his hand around hers, shaking it for a brief moment.
Devin smiled happily when he took her hand, not minding the hesitation. Her concept of time was very warped. The woman was older than Shin and Kae combined by any technicality. She didn't view time the same way most people did. It was long but fleeting. She held his hand firmly, clasping it between both of her's to shake. Her grip was startling strong but not surprising considering her size. "It was lovely to meet you. Thank you for treating my wound. Continue to endure and remember," she said, referencing what he said his name meant and gently squeezed his hands, "survival will come to those strong." She released his hand, gave Kae a little wave which the smaller girl returned before the guard was taking Devin back to her building.
"Bye!" she bid before disappearing behind a closed door.
Kae was hiding a bit of a smile as she moved over to Shin and lightly bumped his side. Looking up at him she grinned, "I think you just made another friend," she teased lightly but earnest. "I mean, not close like us but possible friendship. She seems like a nice girl," she mused and her brows furrowed. Why was a nice girl like her in a prison like this? Oh well. "Not everyone will bite you," she told him with a light chuckle to herself before she glanced at the clock. "Should you clock in for your shift or whatever you do."

He watched her leave quietly, only turning his attention to Kae when the shorter woman nudged his side. He glanced down at her and made a face at her words, something between a nose scrunch and doubt, but eventually he looked to be considering her words, since he glanced away thoughtfully. It would take a lot of time, but perhaps he could come to accept Devin as a friend.
He shrugged faintly. "I think you befriended her better than I did. She likes you." He pointed out casually.
He followed her gaze to the clock, then nodded. "My shift starts now. I... guess I'll see you later?" He asked hesitantly, looking at her.
(( Timeskip? ))
Kae laughed, "she seems like the type that'll befriend everyone," she admitted and folded her arms over her chest with a sly smile. "Besides, I like to think of myself as a likeable person," she declared and glanced at him in the corner of her eye. "Most of the time," she added with a quirked lip. She was amused by her own statement since she knew that she wasn't the most well-liked person ever to exist. She was stubborn and hard headed, people fought with her a lot.
She laughed then, "you'll keep seeing me," she stated with a grin and headed over to a chair by the wall. "I'll stay out of your way," she promised as she plopped down. Waiting it out through his shift to ensure his safety, as she had promised.
((yup ^^ ))

He looked away thoughtfully, considering a reply, and after some moments, came up with a rather honest "I like you." It would seem he was trying to brighten her opinion of herself, or at least show her she was likable to him.
When his shift started soon and Kae shuffled away to the far wall, he wasn't very surprised (it was not the first time after all) and let her do as she pleased. He did not speak to her during his shift, though he did occasionally glance her way every now and then to see what she was doing.
Though Shin is usually quite awkward around people, he was able to, surprisingly, speak with all the patients that he attended adequately and without a single stutter, as if he was fairly used to it. He usually tried to bring only professionalism into work so that he would do it well and not be troubled later, so it was rare he brought any sort of private feelings into his shift.
Some hours later, Shin finally finished up with the last of his patients for the day. He cleaned up and then made his way over to where Kae sat, gesturing for her to leave with him.
((here screaming to myself about how cute he is... don't mind me xD I got the feels))
Kae's friends usually amounted to guy pals who weren't the most affectionate of people. She only had a few friends that were female and emotionally connecting wasn't something that Kae was exceptional on. If her way of dealing with things wasn't obvious in pointing that fact out. Thus, the only time she was really told that she was liked or loved was by her family which was a rarity in itself. Her more sentimental brother did it often and her fathers the occasional prideful statement but it wasn't often. So, when he stated that he liked her it had her floored. She hadn't expected him to say it to be quite honest. She was unsure if he did or not most of the time but stuck by him cause she liked him. However, hearing him say it so blatantly had her momentarily pausing without really reacting to it.
It wasn't until she was posted at her station [as she would call it] when it really processed and she ended up grinning happily to herself. It was such a good thing to hear from someone. If someone as bothersome as her was in good books with someone who disliked troublesome things, then it must mean that she was doing something right at least. Though, Kae wasn't the type to think deeply about words to any such depth.
She spent the entire shift making sure no prisoners acted up but also grinning happily. She felt rather good and that's all that mattered to her. It made her much more bubbly than she usually was.
Thus, when his shift wrapped up and he motioned for her to follow him, she jumped up and skipped over to him, still smiling. It was rather unusual since she didn't like doing anything that may portray herself as any more childlike than she already appeared to be. But, she was feeling too happy to care. She stopped by his side, shifting gears to simply walk by his side instead. "Good thing they were rather well behaved today," she noted. It meant no strain to her injury and there hadn't been a risk to his safety. All in all, a rather great shift. However, it was getting late and she would soon have to return to her cell if she wanted to eat tonight. WHICH SHE DEFINITELY WANTED TO. Her love of food almost topped that of her love for her family and combat training. "You heading to your room now?" she asked, looking up at him. "I probably have time to drop you mostly off before heading back for dinner."

Throughout his shift, Shin ended up glancing Kae's way more times then he would have liked, simply because her smile was so bright and it was not often he saw her in such a good mood. He figured he ought to at least remember it, hence why he was a bit distracted. He did not falter when dealing with the patients, however.
Now, he watched her in amusement when she skipped over to walk by his side, and together they left the infirmary, Shin making his way down the hall towards the less specific parts of the building. In other words, the kitchen downstairs, which was bound to be empty at this time of day.
"Not yet," he replied, in regards to her asking if he was heading to his room. "I'm going to the kitchen first to make something."
Shin usually avoided the cafeteria; the place was usually packed with people, and people whom Shin would very much like to avoid. So, he rarely ever went there to eat. He didn't eat very much to begin with (hence why he was so thin), but when he did, he normally made his own meals. He liked cooking and baking, it was a hobby he enjoyed, and it saved him the trouble of dealing with others. Besides, he wasn't bad at it. Quite the contrary, actually.
((right! argh. it's precious and makes me smile so much it hurts xD))
Kae stopped walking when he mentioned making something. The wording made her immediately assume that he was going to make something himself. If he was willingly going to do that and even go the cafeteria which was populated... he could cook. She blinked a bit then turned all her attention to him. Her eyes were big as she stared him down.
"Wait... cook.. you can cook..." she drifted off and grinned brightly, "Can you cook for me? Please!" she was basically begging but also demanding. The food here was very food but she tended to like homemade dishes, not expert class ones. That and she liked eating a lot of it at a single time. "I'm really curious to know how your cooking taste... well I just like food..." she drifted off. "Well, you don't have to. But I can drop you off there at least," she said and continued walking by his side.

Shin looked at her inquisitively when she abruptly stopped walking, pausing where he stood as well. He met her gaze steadily with his own, listening to her, a little surprised. He hadn't really expected her to be interested in the topic, he'd only mentioned it to tell her his location in case she wished to know (as for why he would want to do that, he wasn't sure himself).
"S-sure.." he agreed. He fell into step with her as soon as she began walking again, though he was not as calm as he had been moments before. He was biting his lip and looking at the ground nervously, as if worrying about it.
He cooked a lot, of course, but it had always been for himself, never for anyone else. He was worried he would mess up, or Kae would dislike it. Not that he thought it would change their friendship at all really, Kae would never do that from what he knew of her, but he didn't want to disappoint her.
He looked up thoughtfully, and asked quietly: "Is.. there anything you want me to make?"
Kae lit up like a Christmas tree when he agreed. She was practically incapable of cooking. Basic meals sure- most of the time. She didn't have much patience for cooking and it never turned out right. She burnt it half the time. It really conflicted with the fact she loved to eat. The food here was excellent but she was now being rationed out because they wouldn't allow her to eat as much as she wanted since she was in prison with a bunch of other people.
"Yeah!" she cheered, beaming and even did a little fist punch. Heck yeah, who knew he could cook! She was pumped. Though, she'd keep her appetite reasonable. She didn't want to scare him off with her eating habits. Though in any other circumstance, she wouldn't care it would be a hardship since he was cooking and stuff.
Her pace seemed to pick up a bit with her eagerness and excitement. Her love of food will prevail! She looked over at him and grinned, "not really. I'll eat anything. Whatever is easier to make a larger quantity for," she told him. She didn't like junk food but that was mainly for diet and health purposes. That and it was unlikely he'd be making that. "I'm sure whatever you make will be great," she told him bluntly. No hesitation and an earnest smile.

When she picked up her pace, Shin still managed to keep up with her easily due to his long strides. He nodded at her words and then went silent, her assurance making all his earlier nervousness suddenly disappear as he considered his options. Even he cared about health; he wasn't going to make something unhealthy for a meal. That wouldn't be too good for either of them.
After some minutes of walking, Shin lead her into the kitchen and waved at a chair against the wall, where Kae could sit if she chose while she waited. Shin meanwhile strolled over to the fridge, where he pulled out a couple of ingredients and then shuffled to the counter, silently beginning to work on prepping them.
Kae was lost in her thoughts, or more like lost in her stomach. She loved her food and she was ecstatic to try some of his cooking. She had no doubts that it would be good. Shin may not like trouble but from as long as she has known him, he wasn't one to do most things half-assed.
Once they had reached and entered the kitchen, she unwillingly sat down, after pulling the chair over to the counter so she'd be closer. She made sure to be mostly out of the way but had full view.
"I would offer to help," Kae mused, feeling rather useless and twitchy by the fact she could do nothing but sit still and stay out of the way. Sure she did the same thing during his shift but she was on guard, stationed to watch and act at a moment's notice so not quite the same. This time, she was sitting and waiting. "But I'm as helpful as a goldfish out of water," she admitted, resting her head on her good arm. She watched him with curiosity. Anyway she could watch and maybe pick up some techniques was something she shot for but it never quite worked out as such. When it came to fighting, she could pick it up usually just by watching and practising a few times, cooking... not so much. However, he looked concentrated and confident, something she enjoyed seeing in Shin.

He worked quietly for the whole time, never once glancing back at Kae while he did so. He was quite focused on his work. Thanks to that though, he was pretty quick, and it did not take longer than 30 minutes before he had finished making a large portion of vegetable noodle stir-fry. He moved to the cabinets and grabbed two bowls, both of which he filled with the stir fry, though he did make sure to put a little extra in Kae's. It didn't really matter, there were still leftovers, but he saw no reason not to.
Turning around, he finally faced Kae now, and held out one of the bowls towards her, a fork already resting in it.
Kae hummed but spent those minutes impatiently waiting. She didn't have anything to do so she was left twiddling her fingers. She didn't want to seem impatient but she wasn't one to ever sit around. She didn't sit well with doing nothing unless it was for a specific purpose. Or sitting around in general, she wasn't the type capable of sitting still for any long length of time. Hence, not too much time had passed before she was up off the chair. She didn't want to bother him so she kept away from his work area and just wandered the outskirts of the kitchen, looking around.
By the time he was wrapping up, she had wandered back to her seat and had gotten to waiting. With the soreness to her shoulder and it being quite the long day, she had her head down on the counter. However, when she heard Shin coming over, she lifted her head took one look and grinned. "Thanks, Shin!" she said eagerly, taking the bowl from him and inhaled. With a contented moan, she didn't hesitate even a moment to begin digging in. All that she could think of was how fricken good it was and how much she wanted to get it into her belly. Something she voiced immediately with a 'so good' moan before falling completely silent aside from the sounds of her eating.

He pulled up a chair next to her and sat down, beginning to eat as well, though at a much slower and less-eager rate then Kae. Which didn't truly matter since his attention was on Kae anyways; he'd had the stir fry before so it was nothing new to him. Kae's reaction though was certainly a very new thing and consequently a very interesting thing to watch.
